In socialist Venezuela, you pay
for all that ´free´ single-payer
health care -- with your vote

Most left-leaning Democratic presidential candidates are touting "single payer" health care insurance, which, as candidate Kamala Harris has admitted, does mean giving up one´s private insurance, whether you like it or not, and having the government take over. It´s billed as a panacea. Here´s the problem with having the government make all of your health care decisions for you, based on a New York Times report from socialist Venezuela: In interviews, (snip) — described a system of deliberate political manipulation in which their services were wielded to secure votes for the governing Socialist Party, often through coercion.

Comments:
Health care for votes is a thing in socialist Venezuela.

You may pay with your vote but when the money runs out you get no ´free´ health care at all, which is the current situation in Venezuela. Unless you´re one of the elites, that is.

Anyone who would vote to allow the DC leftist and liberal Democrat politicians to run their healthcare system has to be out of their minds.

Remember when Obama and those Democrats pushed through on a one party vote, their so-called Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare. That law actually consisted of two parts, some private healthcare insurance with government subsidized premiums to get people to buy in, that for the most part came with huge deductibles of about ten thousand dollars that the premium holders have to pay besides the up front premium before their healthcare insurance would pay a dime; and extended Medicaid, a welfare program, which most of the people who signed up for Obamacare were enrolled in, the premiums of which are paid by the Federal and State governments. So you can imagine what the Democrats could come up with if they get to run the entire healthcare industry across America?

Just an hour after lawyer Michael Avenatti was arrested on fraud charges, his former client Stormy Daniels took to Twitter to say that given her personal experiences with him, she wasn’t surprised by his arrest. “Knowing what I know now about Michael Avenatti, I am saddened but not shocked by news reports that he has been criminally charged today,” Daniels wrote. She claimed that she chose to end her working relationship with Avenatti last month “after discovering that he had dealt with me extremely dishonestly,” and added that “there will be more announcements to come.” Avenatti,

When unraveling a whole cloth of lies, it is important to start pulling on the correct thread. Now that we know the entire theory of Trump-Russia “collusion” cooked up by the Hillary campaign was a pure fiction, it is time start inflicting the consequences on the miscreants. But that’s a process that could take time if and when AG Barr, or maybe US Attorney Peter Huber – commissioned by former AG Sessions to investigate possible FBI abuses – present evidence of criminality to a grand jury. In the meantime, there is some posterior-kicking,

So much for "Hands off Venezuela," as Rep. Ilhan Omar likes to say. Thus far on twitter, she´s been suspiciously quiet about the new reality - that Russian troops are now rolling into Venezuela, to prop up the embattled - and failed - socialist dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro. Even the swamp-focused Hill has noticed the story: Two Russian Air Force planes landed in Venezuela carrying nearly 100 troops and a Russian defense official, according to Reuters. Like her rival Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Amy Klobuchar is out poor-mouthing herself as a identity-politics pioneer who rose up through inconquerable barriers and impossible discouragement as a woman, and for that now deserves the right to rule us. Here she is speaking to Chuck Todd, telling us all how tough she had it: It doesn´t get more fake than that, given that Klobuchar grew up in the 1970s, back when little girls were being told rather loudly by Gloria Steinem and the entire establishment that they could be anything they wanted to be.

China has always been big on prestige and ceremony, so the Inter-American Development Bank´s cancelation Friday of a major 60th-anniversary conference scheduled to open with lots of razzmatazz in a few days was a pretty significant blow.
