It’s flashed by Trump supporters and mass killers:
Has the OK sign really mutated into a white-power symbol?

“Owning the libs” has never been so easy: Just raise your hand and flash the OK sign. “The smirk that almost inevitably accompanies the ‘OK’ sign, that simplest of hand signals, is the dead giveaway in the shroud of internet-age befuddlement,” the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote last September. “Does the sign, the thumb and forefinger joined together in a circle, the remaining three fingers splayed out behind, mean ‘all’s good?’ Or does it mean ‘white power’ instead?”

Have black masks antifa and BLM mutated into Marxist violence?

We can play that insipid game.

The writer is citing the "Southern Poverty Law Center" as if they are a credible organization. He should really stay abreast of current events, before he writes an op-ed.

I generally use the “thumbs-up” gesture but will now make a point of using the OK gesture. Hope that millions of others do the same.

In the NBA the players like Steph Curry flash that sign to celebrate a made 3-point shot. Are they all white supremacists also?

Wow, just last week I had a student in the library. And when he asked me if the book he was wanting was on the shelf I flashed him the OK sign. OMG, I´m white and the student was black. What have I done? He will probably be triggered for the rest of his life and I will be on the news and I will get fired and he will sue me for mental anguish and I will end up committing suicide because of what I did and it just goes on and on. This is stupid. So much stupidity out there. Life is hard. It´s harder if you are stupid. So many stupid people walking around.

A Brit friend (now gone) who piloted two gliders to mostly safe landings in WW II told me that he had been stationed for a while at a base in England where teen-age Brits were learning to fly fighters. He said that on their takeoff runs, these inexperienced kids were required to flash a two-thumbs-up signal. (He said that was to assure those on the ground that the young pilot didn´t have one thumb up.......)

I had figured the left´s insane drive to upset the world would know few bounds. Now it seems they have gone into the start of insane overdrive. They intend to invade every crevice of American life and those similar. It hurts my head thinking about what they see in their selfish world. Like the Andromeda Strain, they are morphing and mutating at an alarming rate and I wonder which will transpire first. President Trump moves on to post presidency or the left´s collective head explodes into tiny fragments.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Minnesota Democrat dogged by allegations of anti-Semitism, told Muslims in a speech Saturday to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable” in defense of their rights. As hundreds of pro-Israel protesters rallied outside, Ms. Omar said U.S. Muslims should confront discrimination in her keynote speech at a fundraiser hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations of Greater Los Angeles in Woodland Hills, California. “So, to me, I say raise hell. Make people uncomfortable,” Ms. Omar said as the crowd cheered. “Because here’s the truth, here’s the truth: Far too long we have lived with the discomfort

Former CIA chief John O. Brennan now says his months of attacks on President Trump may have been based on “bad information.” One of the president’s harshest critics had a muted tone on Monday as he discussed special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” No evidence was found to support the claim that Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign “conspired or coordinated” with Russia. “Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was,” Mr. Brennan told host Joe Scarborough.

NEW YORK — Democratic presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand on Sunday called President Donald Trump a "coward" who "punches down" and says that he is "tearing apart the moral fabric of our country." Gillibrand also urged the full release of special counsel Robert Mueller´s report in the Russia investigation, stressing that "nobody in this country, not even the president, is above the law, or immune from accountability." Attorney General William Barr was expected to release a summary of principal conclusions as soon as Sunday, but Democrats want to see the full details. CNN’s Carl Bernstein defended the media on Sunday against criticism of its coverage of President Donald Trump and the Russia probe, saying that the press “has done one of the greatest reporting jobs” in the history of presidential coverage. “Look, let’s look at where the disinformation and mistakes and lying have come from. It hasn’t come from the press. It’s come from the President of the United States and those around him,” Bernstein said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” hosted by Brian Stelter. Stelter used the opening of his show to defend major news outlets against allegations from conservatives that the

In the opening pages of Michelle Obama’s memoir “Becoming,” she says something that might have sounded pretty provocative when she started writing the book in the days after she and her husband, former President Barack Obama, moved out of the White House. “When you’re first lady, America shows itself to you in its extremes.” (Snip) But one reason she’s been so effective at going high when the crudest and most retrograde among us decide to go low is that she’s so gifted at not surrendering to her own extremes. Rep. Maxine Waters showed no sign of slowing her calls to impeach President Trump after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report found no evidence of Russian collusion. “This president has a way of trying to get into people’s heads and indoctrinate them,” Ms. Waters, a Calfornia Democrat who chairs the House Financial Services Committee, told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Sunday. “He’s been saying ‘no collusion, ‘no collusion,’ ‘no collusion’ over and over again for a long time now, and he’s going try to conclude that this report is proof that there is no collusion,” she said.

Attorney General William Barr on Sunday released the "principal conclusions" of Special Counsel Robert Mueller´s completed Russia probe in a bombshell four-page letter to Capitol Hill lawmakers, which stated definitively that Mueller did not establish evidence that President Trump´s team or any associates of the Trump campaign had conspired with Russia -- "despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign." Mueller´s team specifically looked into two Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 election -- first, the work by a Russian organization, the Internet Research Agency (IRA), to "conduct disinformation and social media operations"

I can’t believe any Democrat would have the stones to double down on collusion the morning after we find out that not only won’t Trump be indicted for conspiring with Russia, none of his inner circle will either.(tweet)Yes, right, we haven’t seen the report yet and so it’s possible that Mueller believes Trump conspired with Russia but declined to indict him due to the DOJ policy that prevents sitting presidents from being formally charged.
