Leah Remini´s ´Scientology´ viewers
suspicious of Clearwater police,

Tampa Bay Times, by Tracey McManus

CLEARWATER — The social media comments started a few weeks ago, then only intensified, devolving into what Police Chief Dan Slaughter called a “public relations nightmare.” Following two January episodes of the Emmy award-winning Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath A&E series that focused on Clearwater history, suspicion on Facebook and Twitter rained down on Slaughter’s department and its interaction with the Church of Scientology. Critics attacked the fact Scientology can hire off-duty officers for security like any other local church when it is the only one with a documented policy for destroying enemies’ lives. They also criticized Slaughter’s cordial public

Comments:
The Church (sic) of Scientology has bought downtown Clearwater properties worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Most of these sit empty, polished but rarely occupied. Scientologists are within their legal rights to have ex-Scientologists, even those with phony 10-foot-separation protection orders, evicted by the Clearwater police from of their properties. But these paranoiac cultists are morally as wrong as they can be. God bless and protect Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and their allies!

If local officials are seen with Scientologists, the cultists see that as an endorsement.

FTA: ... (I)n an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, Remini said an appearance by a police chief at a Scientology event cannot be likened to an appearance at another church. Unlike other religions, Scientology has written policies about manipulating civic circles to gain legitimacy. A 1969 policy dictates how to “build a public image” by going into a community to get seen among “big names” and “get press coverage for every contact.”

L. Ron Hubbard, guilty-minded, inveterately dishonest, and subversive in his heart of hearts, was all about cultivating useful people, even those who would never become Scientologists. Local police and politicos have been more or less infected by this unholy church, which seeks to turn Clearwater into its own Mecca. No thanks.

We see that Chief Slaughter, much more than a symbol, has become, self-described, a microcosm. Wow! That must be something really important.

Entrenched, corrupt, and untouchable because it´s a "religion", Scientology with its mind-clamp on its followers provides a vision of Islam´s future in this country.

How did it become an accepted religion? It had been turned down many times and then its leaders got a one on one with the leader of the IRS, They walked out of the meeting with what they needed -- no explanation from the IRS leader as I remember.

The police officer they had on the show identified the real problem with all the government and police agencies. They all believe that if you are stupid enough to get caught up in a cult like COS you deserve what you get and its not their problem. I guess that goes for the kids that are born into it as well. Nice.

As creepy as I consider the cult to be, I have to give the devil his due. Downtown Clearwater has gone from rather seedy to very attractive in a few short years. It´s pretty impressive until you think about where the money came from. (I find it especially telling that the symbol on the tower of their main building looks very much like a cross. Almost, but not quite.)

Concerning the cross with the "X" through it which can be found on the top spire/minaret at Ft. Harrison Hotel aka Flag Land Base, #9 noticed what many Christians accustomed to crosses on steeples have noticed. Scientology is a negation of Christianity. That cross is canceled!

Although those who aspire to ascend the Bridge to Clearitude´s Celestial City don´t learn that L. Ron and Scientology aren´t remotely compatible with Christianity, that revelation isn´t available to the Scientology pilgrim Sea Org slave--or the celebrity actor--until several OT levels have been attained. By then their Christian instincts, if they ever had any, have been thoroughly drowned.

Scientologists say that they are here to clear the planet. They do, like a meaty fart in an elevator, the elevator being a microcosm of Clearwater since about 1975.

They´ve fairly well cleared downtown Clearwater of vacationers, who are still so prevalent on Clearwater Beach two miles west of Flag on Memorial Causeway. David Miscavige probably can´t buy the Beach, although he´ll ask Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and other celebrity suckas to fund same. What utter delusion.

L. Ron Hubbard for all eternity? Really? (Sigh)

I find Leah Remini and her show exceedingly fascinating -- and informative. I get where the police chief is coming from -- you have to treat all religions the same. And the position of the IRS since 1993 has made Scientology a de facto religion.

But why did the IRS give in? It gave in because Scientology was persecuting the IRS employees who were investigating the "religion." Agents of Scientology were even going through the trash to find something they could use to shame the IRS employees. It was horrible!

MIAMI -- As Venezuela´s path of socialism was going bust and millions of people were drowning in poverty without access to adequate healthcare or even food, a small group of military leaders, politicians and businessmen siphoned billions from the government that went straight into their pockets. One of the worst offenders is Venezuela´s former national treasurer Alejandro Andrade, who teamed up with other shady characters to pilfer more than $1 billion from his government´s coffers. Andrade had been the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez´s best friend and personal bodyguard before rising to the role of treasurer and hitting pay dirt.

Actress-turned-full-time political activist Alyssa Milano is having a hard time with reports indicating "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett might have staged the hate crime attack that he claimed was carried out by two white Trump supporters. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Tito Brown can’t imagine driving a perfectly good thing out of a town that hasn’t had a perfectly good thing come its way in a very long time. At least, a perfectly good thing the size and scope of the Amazon headquarters that ideological politics drove out of Long Island City on Thursday, when Democrats including Rep. The Transportation Department also announced it was “actively exploring every legal option to seek the return from California of $2.5 billion in federal funds.” It’s unclear whether it has the legal authority to do so, and California would probably oppose such a move.In a
