The city of Chicago’s six-figure employee club keeps growing. And more and more members of that club are taking home bigger paychecks than Mayor Rahm Emanuel. That’s according to a Chicago Sun-Times analysis of city employee salaries. (Snip) In 2016, 13,767 city workers made $100,000 or more. The following year, the number rose to 14,823, the Sun-Times analysis found. The six-figure earners accounted for more than 40 percent of the city workforce that year. Together, they were paid a total of nearly $1.9 billion.

It takes a lot of high-priced quality talent to manage a human slaughterhouse and kleptocracy.

This fetid sewer of a city residing in a liberal/democrat cesspit of a State. I thought they were about to go bankrupt, the entire kit and caboodle?

Forbes had an interesting cover story on government millionaires a while back, picturing a beaming cop who retired after 20 years, double dipped (in Broward County of course), continues to be overpaid, and will reap multiple retirement incomes. Disgusting. No cop, sanitation engineer, or dimwit clerk is worth anywhere near six figures, let alone a lifelong pension of the sort they acquire.

If Rahm earns more than $1 a month, he is grossly overpaid.

In some instances, it is better to reinvent the wheel. In this state there are way too many double dipping. Seems like a cause for unemployment because they are taking two spaces.

Why is Mayor Rahm Emanuel getting a pass on the Chicago Public Schools rape and sexual abuse scandal? In this era of #MeToo and grand jury investigations of the Catholic Church, Emanuel should have been driven out of Chicago with pitchforks. Instead, the Democrat Party and the media have been giving him high-fives as he takes a victory lap on his mayoralty. Back in June, a Chicago Tribune investigation uncovered 523 credible cases of rape and sexual abuse of minors at CPS over the last 10 years.

Police say high definition cameras from inside the tunnel which connects the Red and Blue lines at Jackson captured images of a man in a surgical mask shooting another man in the hip at close range before slipping away.(Snip) The victim is in stable condition, and police say he has been arrested numerous times in the past and likely knew his attacker. He initially refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are demanding more “inclusive” ice cream at the university-owned Babcock Hall Dairy Store, arguing that current ingredients in some of the store’s products are discriminatory toward certain religions. Eight members of the Associated Students of Madison put forth a resolution last week declaring that Babcock ice cream, which uses beef gelatin, discriminates against the school’s Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and vegetarian communities. The resolution, titled “Ice Cream for All,” would formally demand that the university administration “acknowledge the marginalization of having the official campus Ice Cream not be inclusive to religious students on campus.”

Gillette´s new ad, browbeating men through a #MeToo and "toxic masculinity" pitch, supposedly to persuade men to buy their razors, is so revolting it´s possible to think it´s satire. There is also a 30-second version, which doesn´t even seem to be about selling razors: Seriously, did a spy from Schick get into the Procter & Gamble´s advertising agency and concoct an ad very sure to turn potential customers off? Who would want to buy that after such a string of insults? Isn´t ad rule number one to not insult the customer? Well, this one does.

Nancy Pelosi has asked Donald Trump to put off his State of the Union speech to the joint session of Congress until after the funding issues have been resolved: (Copy of Letter/Tweet) And with that, the new Speaker of the House just made the best case possible for a perpetual shutdown.
