The Morning After: Nets Criticize
Trump 8X More Than Dems

Newsbusters, by Kyle Drennen

Wednesday’s network morning shows provided an avalanche of negative reviews for President Trump’s Oval Office address to the nation calling for border security legislation to end the government shutdown, with anchors and correspondents offering up a staggering 43 statements critical of the presidential speech. By contrast, only a scant five critiques were made of the Democratic response delivered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. The glaring disparity in negative coverage of Trump versus congressional Democrats, a difference of over eight to one, also included 13 statements in which both sides of the aisle were blamed

Actually... 8 to 1 comes out to 11% positive for Trump.

This in a period where it is normally 13 or 14 to 1.

Trump bashing is no longer news. Why bother publishing such stories?: Liberals like it and conservatives don´t. Neither of us will change our minds just because Leftists are bashing Trump. If anything, it makes us dig in our heels and dig into our wallets.

I counted 13 supposed newscasters use the words, "manufactured crisis" on TV. Don´t anyone of them check the facts or are they like a pack of hungry dogs and go with whatever words are thrown at them? How mindless can they be? Well, Pelosi said she didn´t want to hear the facts. Facts are truth so shows she does not want to hear truth. People. WAKE UP!

President Trump reaffirmed his support for religious liberty on Wednesday in celebration of Religious Freedom Day. In his proclamation to honor the day, President Trump praised religious liberty as being "innate to the dignity of every human person." “On Religious Freedom Day, we celebrate our Nation’s long-standing commitment to freedom of conscience and the freedom to profess one’s own faith,” Trump said, according to Catholic News Agency. "The right to religious freedom is innate to the dignity of every human person and is foundational to the pursuit of truth." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to President Trump today, suggesting that his upcoming State of the Union Address -- scheduled for January 29th -- ought to be postponed until after the partial government shutdown is over. Pelosi cites "security concerns" related to the temporary lack of funding for US Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security, implying that speech attendees might be unsafe due to the budget impasse. Here is Pelosi´s missive in full: (Tweet) Notice how Pelosi quotes the DHS Secretary to bolster her argument, which is an interesting choice, given Pelosi´s total disregard for DHS´

In 1974, the Watergate investigation was blowing up around the White House, and Congress looked well on its way to impeaching President Richard Nixon. But on January 30 it all came to a standstill as Nixon walked into the Capitol, stood before Congress, and delivered the State of the Union address. Members of both parties stood respectfully when he entered and left. In 1998, the House of Representatives actually did impeach Bill Clinton. But he came to Capitol Hill a month later and delivered an address that made no acknowledgment of that fact. Members of both parties stood respectfully when

On Sunday, the mainstream media launched a new ploy to promote their Trump-Russia collusion narrative with a story that first appeared in the Washington Post titled “Officials in dark on Putin talks.” A similar piece was published in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, titled “Trump didn’t use notetakers at Putin/ Meeting.” Cable-news networks and Democratic congressmen claim these stories indicate that President Trump held secret discussions with Russian president Putin that were revealed to no one. For example, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) told CNN on Sunday that the U.S. government “does not know” what Trump and Putin discussed. It

Although snow stations have recorded some decline, it hasn’t been statistically significant.
