DNC chair Perez laments ´the pulpit,´ religious

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez told a room of progressives this week that political momentum is undermined by religious leaders standing at “the pulpit” on Sunday. Attendees at Wednesday’s Demand Justice’s “The Court In Crisis: What’s Next For Progressives After Kavanaugh” Summit were told by Mr. Perez that they need to address the “pulpit” problem to better “penetrate” the American electorate. “We need to build a bigger orchestra,” Mr. Perez said. “They’ve had a big orchestra for some time and they’ve got the megaphones to amplify it, whether it’s Sinclair at a local level or Fox at a national

My first reaction is to guess that TP hasn´t been in many churches lately. If he´d bother going, he´d find plenty of like-minded socialists in holy garb, subtly (and not so subtly) preaching the words that are counter to law, order, and sanity. Baby Jesus in a cage?

As a conservative clergyman, I never preached politics from the pulpit nor inserted it into classes, so if anything I said was a threat to the Democrats, it could only be because the Word of God goes against their ideology.

Just why is it that DNC and Perez is not "penetrating" the pulpit problem in the discourse? Just maybe Perez would learn something when in Church services. He may learn from the pulpit that Jesus said to suffer the little children to come to Him, not suffer the little children to be aborted at the Planned Parenthood clinic. Or perhaps it would be to learn that to lie, commit fornication/adultery, murder, is an abomination to the Lord, such that be taught/preached from the pulpit in a Church service. Or maybe even that the Lord is our Savior, not the Democratic Party.

But you democrats insist on forcing the lowest common immorality and filth into our lives, even when we do not want it. Then you mock us for not wanting anything to do with your policies.

You lead a party that voted to boot God off the Island Spanky, so don´t be whining when the chickens come home to roost. You did it THREE times at that convention. We know you hate religion, and God knows it too.

Mr. Perez,

Take away churches and we´ll still have our bibles. Take away bibles and we´ll still have the Word in us. The great deceivers are the greatest deceived. Evil may appear to triumph, but in the end, you don´t win. While I may find agreement in my church (from pulpit to parishioners), I don´t need to be spoon-fed on right and wrong or who I should vote for. It´s enough to know democrat policies are evil; democrats don´t get my vote. It´s as simple as that. I know you´re used to telling your "followers" what to do, but I don´t need you and would never be swayed by anything you or any other democrat has to say.

"address the “pulpit” problem to better “penetrate” the American electorate"

Translation: ...address the pulpit problem so we can screw the American electorate.

Excuse my vulgarity.

As I noted here on June 30, 2017 Michael Flynn and Andrew McCabe have a past that predates the Trump presidency, one that provides ample motivation for the perjury trap that McCabe and James Comey set up after Flynn’s illegal unmasking. McCabe had a personal grudge against Flynn and the perjury trap was his revenge. It explains why McCabe would entrap Flynn in a seemingly harmless interview about contacts with Flynn’s Russian counterparts, advising Flynn he didn’t need to bring a lawyer along to complicate things: The federal judge who will sentence Lt.-Gen. And then McCabe destroyed the evidence. n early May Senator Grassley demanded the FBI and DOJ produce the transcript of Flynn’s intercepted calls with Russian Ambassador Kislyak and the 302’s by May 25th. The DOJ and FBI ignored him. Another day, another avalanche of news about the President: berating Democratic leaders on camera; unceremoniously announcing the departure of his chief of staff; calling his former Secretary of State “dumb as a rock.” It never lets up. The invalidation of the landmark 2010 law is certain to send shock waves through the U.S. health system and Washington after a midterm election seen in part as a rebuke to Republican efforts to tear down Obamacare.
