Opposition Media Flop: No One Cared About
That Massive NYT Story On Trump´s Taxes
...No One

Townhall, by Matt Vespa

Original Article

Posted By:ladydawgfan, 10/11/2018 3:30:13 PM

Gee—where did that story go? I’m taking about The New York Times story about President Trump’s tax schemes that supposedly was…very, very bad. Oh, that’s right; no one cared. It’s the bombshell that never was, partially because tax law is boring. Politico covered why this story went nowhere in the national news media, even after they ran it twice last week. The publication added that there is nothing juicy, and that tax law is so complex that we often dole out filing our taxes to accountants. There are no Russian hookers, collusion nonsense, or anything about the president’s alleged mistresses.

Dontcha just HATE it when that happens??

I´m sure that NY will do whatever they can to damage President Trump. But, it will be to no avail. You have to break the law and I assure you, that´s why the Trumps have an army of attorneys looking out for those things.

#2, Fred Trump is long dead and the statute of limitations has long run. This was tax avoidance by Trump´s father, not Trump. Are they going to reopen Fred Trump´s estate and make the Trump children give back the property they inherited nearly 20 years after the fact? I don´t think so.

What I find disgusting is that a major newspaper would devote a year and how many reporters to destroy an American citizen because the editors/publishers oppose the citizen´s perfectly mainstream political philosophy. Why not devote some time to investigating George Soros´s finances? After all, Soros has been tossed out of several countries for his financial misdoings. Or investigate the Clinton Foundation about which there have been many questions raised. But no..The NYT just loves and supports Soros and the Clinton Foundation. Meanwhile, despising Donald J. Trump.

Nothing like having a foreign power driving the US news cycle.

Jay Rockefeller (whose real name was John D. Rockefeller IV) was a recipient of a trust fund set up by His great grandfather.
Just like Old Joe Kennedy, Rockefeller set up intergenerational trusts, which subdues the tax man.
President Trump´s father did nothing illegal - he just wanted his children to be treated favorably by the IRS.
The NYT story was a zero.

Everyone knows someone who has been audited by the IRS. Most of those people had not intentionally done anything wrong but were exposed to the mental torture and anguish of an unaccountable IRS agent potentially ruining their life over an obscure corner of the tax law.

If you have lived as an expatriate American for any length of time, for example, you are almost automatically considered to be a tax cheat.

So anything involving taxes looks like a frame up to most people

Lets face it, even his biggest fans know that Donald Trump had not exactly been a boy scout or saint. He was a womanizing hard-core businessman.

And if he had been running for POPE, he never would have gotten my vote (but neither would have Francis for that matter, but that´s another thread).

But he wasn´t running for Pope. He was running for president, and he was just the PERFECT man for the job at the right time!!!!!!

You would think that the MSM and the LIE-berals of this country would learn that you can´t throw mud on Donald Trump and expect it to stick or expect him to cower in fear. He is a success!!!! And all the things he has done in his life, good and bad, successes and failures, have made him into the GREAT president that we have now!!!!!!

God bless President Trump!!!!! MAGA!!!!!!!!

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren admitted on Friday that she is not a person of color, despite recently seeking to prove that she has Native American ancestry. In October, Warren released a DNA test in an attempt to combat President Donald Trump’s many attacks on her alleged Native American ancestry. The test results showed that she has a Native American ancestor “in the range of 6–10 generations ago.” But during a commencement address at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, on Friday, Warren made clear that she does not consider herself a person of color. “I’m not a person of

For too long, the Department of Justice and the FBI have pursued high profile investigations with virtually unlimited power. They often intimidate and humiliate subjects and terrorize their family, friends and associates. And the courts have even allowed them to use trickery and deceit as a legal tool during interrogation. But as the saying goes, “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Dec. 9 marked 10 years to the day since then-FBI Director Robert Mueller directed federal agents to arrest Rod during that now infamous predawn raid. And it was only recently that we learned that they brought with them

Poor Democrats. They just aren’t used to being treated this way. They just aren’t used to the fight. Look at how they’re having to rush to the defensive in recent days — first, with President Donald Trump in the White House, then with press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, doing the media thing. Anybody watching Sen. Chuck Schumer sit, shoulders sagged, hands in lap, stiff smile upon face, as he listened to Trump turn tables and take responsibility for a government shutdown so long as it came as a way of standing firm on border control for the American people —

Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker did not violate the Hatch Act when his campaign account from a failed 2014 Senate bid accepted four donations totaling nearly $9,000 earlier this year, campaign finance experts said. But most of the money is still sitting in the campaign’s account because William Gustoff, the campaign’s treasurer, is waiting to make sure he can use it to pay back a loan to Mr. Whitaker, who is still owed $50,000 from a personal loan he made to his Senate bid. Former Congressman John Dingell, Jr., a partisan Democrat whose immediate family has controlled the same seat in the House of Representatives for 86 years, has some suggestions for fixing Congress. We should abolish the Senate and the Electoral College because they´re undemocratic, "despite the constitutional hurdles of doing so." In 2015, Dingell retired from the U.S. House seat he´s held since 1955, the seat he inherited from his father, John Dingell, Sr., who first won it in 1932. The seat has passed to John Jr.´s much-younger wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell, who was just re-elected in November.

Another day, another avalanche of news about the President: berating Democratic leaders on camera; unceremoniously announcing the departure of his chief of staff; calling his former Secretary of State “dumb as a rock.” It never lets up. Trump is a ubiquitous, suffocating presence in American life. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. As the Trump era has made abundantly clear, the office itself — its size, scope, and prominence in American life — is the driving force of dysfunction in our politics.
