Arnold Schwarzenegger says ´I´ve stepped
over the line several times´ with women´

Sfgate, by Amy Graff

"Looking back, I stepped over the line several times, and I was the first one to say sorry," says Schwarzenegger. "I feel bad about it, and I apologize. This isn´t the first time the Hollywood actor-turned-politician has expressed regret. Days before winning the 2003 recall election for California governor, he faced groping accusations from several women and admitted he had sometimes "behaved badly" on film sets. "It is true that I was on rowdy movie sets and I have done things that were not right which I thought then was playful," he said at a campaign event on Oct. 2,

Comments:
I´m guessing this means that "der Gropenführer" either has more accusations coming at him or wants to help those who still hope to gin up allegations against PDJT in sufficient quantity (and of sufficient severity) to drive him out of office.

What was he thinking when he bonked that unattractive (being generous about her) housekeeper. Of course being married to a Kennedy clan ice cube might have pushed him over the line.

That’s what good true Demon Rats do. He’s a fake repub as we learned from his time as CA governator. But good thing to step up now before it all comes out. Pre emptive damage control at work thanks to his public relation team and attorneys.

New York - Facebook announced on Friday that the social network had exposed the private photos of millions of users without their permission. The company said a bug recently allowed third-party app developers to access photos people may not have shared publicly. Facebook believes as many as 6.8 million users could be affected. The Irish Data Protection Commission, the body that oversees Facebook´s compliance with European regulations, said on Friday that it had launched a "statutory inquiry" into Facebook as a result of multiple breaches the company had informed them about this year.

President Donald Trump joked in an interview with Bloomberg on Thursday that the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was "having a nervous breakdown" over his response to Sen. John McCain´s death. Sanders reportedly stared at him as he refused to answer whether he thought McCain would have been a better president than Barack Obama, who defeated McCain in the 2008 election. Trump told Bloomberg he believes he properly honored McCain following his death.

Another day, another avalanche of news about the President: berating Democratic leaders on camera; unceremoniously announcing the departure of his chief of staff; calling his former Secretary of State “dumb as a rock.” It never lets up. Trump is a ubiquitous, suffocating presence in American life. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. The modern presidency is the framers’ worst nightmare, a flatly unconstitutional concentration of power. As the Trump era has made abundantly clear, the office itself — its size, scope, and prominence in American life — is the driving force of dysfunction in our politics.

Federal prosecutors in New York are investigating President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee amid suspicion that a portion of the $107 million it raised was misspent, according to a report. The Wall Street Journal states the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office is in the beginning stages of probing whether the committee’s most prominent donors made sizable contributions “in exchange for access to the incoming Trump administration, policy concessions or to influence official administration positions.”The Journal reports: The investigation partly arises out of materials seized in the federal probe of former Trump

One of the first two Muslim women elected to the U.S. Congress took a snide dig on Twitter at Vice President Pence for sitting with eyes closed during a heated Oval Office meeting, posting a photo with the caption, “Jesus take the wheel!” – and the other incoming Muslim congresswoman applauded the insult. Ihlan Omar’s (D-Minn.) tweet ended with the hashtag #BorderWall, a reference to the contentious issue discussed during President Trump’s meeting Tuesday with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren admitted on Friday that she is not a person of color, despite recently seeking to prove that she has Native American ancestry. In October, Warren released a DNA test in an attempt to combat President Donald Trump’s many attacks on her alleged Native American ancestry. The test results showed that she has a Native American ancestor “in the range of 6–10 generations ago.” But during a commencement address at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, on Friday, Warren made clear that she does not consider herself a person of color. “I’m not a person of

If we want to stop climate change, we’ll have to stop pumping out carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. In order to do that, we’ll need to replace all the sources of carbon pollution—like fossil fuel plants and combustion vehicles—with clean, renewable alternatives. But there’s a problem: According to a new study, we might not have enough materials to make that happen. Plenty of high-tech electronic components, like solar panels, rechargeable batteries, and complex circuits, require specific rare metals. Going all in on attacking President Trump isn’t proving to be a particularly effective business strategy for media outlets. The Weekly Standard, a 28-year old neoconservative institution, is reportedly headed towards dissolution after its founder, Bill Kristol, devoted almost three years of work to attacking the President and his supporters. It’s not just Kristol. The entire world of clickbait Trump-hate seems to be in jeopardy, including sites that cater to the liberal base. The same week that The Weekly Standard’s troubles broke, Vanity Fair dropped a bombshell report about the struggles faced by those hip, millennial-targeted left-wing rags

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling took a swing at Bronx Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, slamming her intelligence after she complained that her ideas are being scrutinized because of her young age. The 29-year-old Democratic Socialist responded this week to what she considered a double standard she has observed in press coverage of herself compared to House Speaker Paul Ryan, the Boston Globe reported. “Double standards are Paul Ryan being elected at 28 and immediately being given the benefit of his ill-considered policies considered genius; and me winning a primary at 28 to immediately be

The Chief Justice of California’s Supreme Court announced on Thursday that she had left the Republican Party following the confirmation of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. California Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye told CALmatters that she had been deliberating her decision for a while but made up her mind after watching the backlash following multiple sexual assault allegations leveled against Kavanaugh. Christine Blasey Ford, a professor from Palo Alto, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in September, alleging that Kavanaugh assaulted her in the 1980s when they were both high school students.

A federal judge in Texas late Friday threw the health coverage of some 20 million Americans in limbo by ruling Obamacare must be scrapped because Congress struck the penalty for failing to obtain insurance coverage. The invalidation of the landmark 2010 law is certain to send shock waves through the U.S. health system and Washington after a midterm election seen in part as a rebuke to Republican efforts to tear down Obamacare.

The Weekly Standard will be no more. There is no real reason we are witnessing the magazine’s demise other than deep pettiness and a personal desire for bureaucratic revenge on the part of a penny-ante Machiavellian who works for its parent company. There would at least be a larger meaning to the Standard’s end if it were being killed because it was hostile to Donald Trump. But I do not believe that is the case.
