Colin Powell´s rip of
Trump falls on deaf ears

Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley

Colin Powell, who served in the lead spot at the State Department under George W. Bush, took a nationally televised opportunity on CNN and turned it into hit job on President Donald Trump. Again. For starters, this time, he characterized the White House as immoral; dinged the administration for its crackdown on illegal immigration; and called out Trump for sidestepping the “we the people” of the Constitution in favor of a “me the president” approach. Everybody’s entitled to an opinion. But Powell’s been on an anti-Trump rant for years. He should realize Trump supporters, when confronted with the arguments of

After serving your country well in the Military and with honors, you throw in with the crowd that is racist to the core. Look at how "your" young people suffer in Chicago, Baltimore, Washington DC or any major metropolitan city where dRATS hold sway. You´re wasting your gifts on the wrong causes. Black men and family life should be your place to mentor.

So the reason we should stick with the FAILED and NECROTIC agreements is because they have been around for a long time? This is the dead end thinking that pervaded the state department and shows why nothing ever changed. All it means is that our "allies" have been taking advantage of us for a long time. The whole focus of State seemed to be to preserve a moribund system. That could be said to be true of the whole government.

Change can be risky and painful but it is the only way to make improvements. After all the whining and the predictions of failure, many of Trump´s initiatives are moving forward. Those successes make it more likely that others will follow. None of these changes have been designed to ruin other countries. In fact, more commerce is likely to result in the long run.

Trump realized that the old ways had to dynamited away to move forward. That shook things up a bit. People used to focusing only on keeping smooth relations could never have done this.

Too bad Powell has ended up like this but he´s been drifting Left right along.

Colin Powell has been wrong more than once on very big issues. Remember when he got President G.H.W. Bush to stop the first Gulf War when the USA and the UK were well on their way to whipping Iraq, a victory that would have allievated the need for the Second Gulf War including the invasion of Iraq years later. Then years later when Powell went before the U.N. and reported that Iraq possessed very dangerous weapons of mass destruction thus paving the way for President G. W. Bush to prosecute the Invasion of Iraq. Clearly Powell was another Democrat in disguise who fooled the Bush dynasty.

Powell was the 4th Infantry Division Deputy Commander. His boss General Hudachek rated Powell as only an average Army officer. Normally that would be a career ender. Powell had friends in Washington and made sure the affirmative action plan would be put into effect. During Dessert Storm Powell had one big responsibility...to get the 4th ID access into northern Iraq. He failed at at that also. The Peter Principle made clear.

Regularly doing puzzles like Sudoku will not protect the mind from dementia, researchers have found. The idea of “use it or lose it” and doing problem-solving activities such as crosswords has been widely accepted as a way of protecting brains from cognitive decline in later life. However, researchers have found that while doing this throughout life could boost mental ability and give a person a “higher starting point” from which to decline, it would not necessarily help prevent age-related mental decline or dementia. AFP reported Saturday that “experts” say “Western powers fighting Islamist groups around the globe are condemned to a never-ending battle if they only tackle the symptoms and not the underlying causes of jihadist insurgency.” That is true, but these establishment “experts” have no idea of the actual underlying causes, and are recommending the same counterterror remedies that have failed again and again. “The West is on the road to winning all the battles and losing the war,” warns Katherine Zimmerman, who wrote a recent report for the American Enterprise Institute. On that, Zimmerman is actually right. But she and her

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared President Donald Trump was not going to get the U.S.-Mexico border wall “in any form.” “President Trump should understand there are not the votes for the wall in the House or the Senate. He is not going to get the wall in any form. Even the House which is a majority Republican, they don’t have the votes for his $5 billion wall plan. The Army Green Beret charged with murder for the rogue killing of an Afghan man in 2010 is a “hero,” President Trump tweeted Sunday as he promised to “review” the case. Maj. Mathew Golsteyn admitted to killing an Afghan man who was questioned and released in a 2010 bazaar terror-bombing. “At the request of many, I will be reviewing the case of a ‘U.S. Military hero,’ Major Matt Golsteyn, who is charged with murder. He could face the death penalty from our own government after he admitted to killing a Terrorist bomb maker while overseas. @PeteHegseth @FoxNews,” he tweeted

Joe Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-independent who has backed Republicans, has found friends in yet another party: the ruling Communist Party of the People´s Republic of China. The former "conscience of the Senate" has been hired to represent China´s ZTE telecommunications company, which is basically a front organization for Chinese intelligence services. ZTE is under pressure in light of overdue U.S. government efforts to prevent it from entrenching a stronger position in the U.S. economy. With the U.S. now in a new cold war with Beijing, no former U.S. official, let alone a foreign policy hawk like Lieberman, should be serving ZTE.

An actress and model claims she had a clandestine eight-year affair with Woody Allen that began when she was 16 years old and underage – and included threesomes with the director and Mia Farrow in his penthouse, according to a new report. Babi Christina Engelhardt, now 59, told The Hollywood Reporter that she first caught the then-41-year-old Allen’s attention in October 1976 at famed eatery Elaine’s on the Upper East Side, where she dropped a note with her phone number. “Since you’ve signed enough autographs, here’s mine!” the star-struck girl scribbled. Allen soon invited Engelhardt
