Barbara Bush is married. The 36-year-old daughter of former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura tied the knot in an ´intimate´ ceremony at the family´s estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, after keeping her engagement to writer and Vanderbilt graduate Craig Louis Coyne, 37, a closely-guarded secret. A beaming George W. proudly walked his daughter down the aisle at the event, where the bride wowed in a stunning custom Vera Wang gown, while family members including her twin sister Jenna and her grandfather George H. W., watched on. The wedding, which was officiated by Barbara´s aunt, Dorothy Bush Koch,

The style of dress is fine for this type of informal ceremony but it looks about two sizes too big for her.

The thing I liked best about the Bush girls is they didn´t act like entitled spoiled brats. They pretty much stayed away from the limelight. Unlike the spawn of barry.

Too cold for that nightgown of a wedding dress! It was too exposing, for my taste.

Very understated, while they could have had a million dollar bash like Chelsea Clinton did if she had wanted to. Overall, the Bush family does not flaunt wealth or priviledge. Wishing the newlyweds well.

Her dress style is quite popular now, a sheath style. I think it looks like a negligee and it can only be worn by very, very thin women. Not my style but it’s not my wedding. I think she looks lovely. I wish them much happiness.

Best wishes to the bride and groom. Oh well, the dress is well, New York, and she is a New York gal. She looks pretty on her special day. Barbara doesn’t like the limelight as Jenna does so I am glad she could keep her event fairly secret. Hint, hint, keeping things under cover builds “interest” for the People magazine spread. These political families have expert PR folks.

The left press LIKES the Bushes, #2. Jenna is employed by NBC — which has been the family’s preferred news network for quite awhile.

My respect and admiration for the Bushes in general has really gone downhill, including the girls.

Do you remember when the Bush daughters wrote a sweet letter to the Obama daughters about life and growing up in the White House? It was very nice and welcoming.

That was nice of them, but where´s the one to Barron...from anyone?

#12- Agree. Simple, elegant, typically Barbara--based on several of the gowns she has worn through her adult years. A little too low and loose-fitting cleavage for most women, but the gown “is Barbara.” She made a beautiful bride. Although disappointed in the Bush family and their behavior since President Trump was elected, do extend sincere best wishes to Barbara and Craig for a lasting, loving marriage.

So glad to see Jenna´s sweet little daughters. Jenna looks so much like her dad.

The Bush girls have been able to keep a low profile today, it seems; the press was so unkind to them while their dad was in office.

Wonderful that grand-dad George H.W. was well enough to attend. He was a fighter pilot in the Pacific during WWII, shot down, etc. He never seemed to emphasize that in campaigns, and I wonder if he could have beaten Clinton if he had brought to light his Naval service. I do believe that many Americans are unaware of his courageous service in the military.

Laura looks lovely, as always.

Yes, the bridal dress is very New York. The veil is lovely.

Happy day for the family.

Vera Wang? Guess I will have to drop that designer from my list of haute couture providers. The fit above the waist is poorly done. Couture is all about fit! FLOTUS Barbara Bush´s memoir even addressed this very topic of err, sideways exposure.

So, it appears the rich and privileged have an itchy desire to disrobe. My theory is that nanny/mummy made a bargain: we are gonna go out in public now with lots of people taking our pictures, so keep your hands in your pockets and smile. When we´re done, we´ll all go skinny dippin´ under the stars. Nudity was offered as a reward for fitting into a cookie cutter mold that the rest of humanity cannot fathom. Or....?

Don´t like me commenting on the wedding dress, don´t ship pics of it to People. Icky, icky, icky inappropriate wedding dress, all the more ridiculous because of Jenna Bush´s Kountry Kupboard accompanying dress. Can you say ´tasteless´ all around?

Well I love the dress - simply beautiful, though I must say there ain´t much to hold it up so in some pics the design loses its appeal.

The bride does bear a strong resemblance to her namesake. I hope that she can start eating now that the wedding is over. The sideview pic showing ribs is a little disturbing.

The Supreme Court declined to review three cases relating to Republican efforts to defund Planned Parenthood at the state level Monday, over a vigorous dissent from Justice Clarence Thomas. The dissent was significant because it indicates that Justice Brett Kavanaugh sided with the high court’s liberal wing to deny review of a lower court decision that favored the nation’s largest abortion provider. “So what explains the Court’s refusal to do its job here?,” Thomas wrote. “I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some respondents in these cases are named ‘Planned Parenthood.

The father of Jakelin Caal, who died in United States Customs and Border Protection custody, has reportedly hired a pair of attorneys and is challenging the Department of Homeland Security´s claims of how his daughter died. Nery Gilberto Caal released a statement, through attorneys, on Saturday, claiming that he and his daughter — whom Border Patrol says died of prolonged hunger and dehydration — were properly fed, and that they had not spent days in the desert before declaring their intent to seek asylum at an official border crossing in New Mexico last week.

AFP reported Saturday that “experts” say “Western powers fighting Islamist groups around the globe are condemned to a never-ending battle if they only tackle the symptoms and not the underlying causes of jihadist insurgency.” That is true, but these establishment “experts” have no idea of the actual underlying causes, and are recommending the same counterterror remedies that have failed again and again. “The West is on the road to winning all the battles and losing the war,” warns Katherine Zimmerman, who wrote a recent report for the American Enterprise Institute. On that, Zimmerman is actually right. But she and her

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared President Donald Trump was not going to get the U.S.-Mexico border wall “in any form.” “President Trump should understand there are not the votes for the wall in the House or the Senate. He is not going to get the wall in any form. Even the House which is a majority Republican, they don’t have the votes for his $5 billion wall plan. Ryan, afraid of what’s going to happen, sent all the House home until Wednesday night, a day and a

The Army Green Beret charged with murder for the rogue killing of an Afghan man in 2010 is a “hero,” President Trump tweeted Sunday as he promised to “review” the case. Maj. Mathew Golsteyn admitted to killing an Afghan man who was questioned and released in a 2010 bazaar terror-bombing. “At the request of many, I will be reviewing the case of a ‘U.S. Military hero,’ Major Matt Golsteyn, who is charged with murder. He could face the death penalty from our own government after he admitted to killing a Terrorist bomb maker while overseas. @PeteHegseth @FoxNews,” he tweeted

Joe Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-independent who has backed Republicans, has found friends in yet another party: the ruling Communist Party of the People´s Republic of China. The former "conscience of the Senate" has been hired to represent China´s ZTE telecommunications company, which is basically a front organization for Chinese intelligence services. ZTE is under pressure in light of overdue U.S. government efforts to prevent it from entrenching a stronger position in the U.S. economy. With the U.S. now in a new cold war with Beijing, no former U.S. official, let alone a foreign policy hawk like Lieberman, should be serving ZTE.

An actress and model claims she had a clandestine eight-year affair with Woody Allen that began when she was 16 years old and underage – and included threesomes with the director and Mia Farrow in his penthouse, according to a new report. Babi Christina Engelhardt, now 59, told The Hollywood Reporter that she first caught the then-41-year-old Allen’s attention in October 1976 at famed eatery Elaine’s on the Upper East Side, where she dropped a note with her phone number. “Since you’ve signed enough autographs, here’s mine!” the star-struck girl scribbled. Allen soon invited Engelhardt
