Barbara Bush is married. The 36-year-old daughter of former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura tied the knot in an ´intimate´ ceremony at the family´s estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, after keeping her engagement to writer and Vanderbilt graduate Craig Louis Coyne, 37, a closely-guarded secret. A beaming George W. proudly walked his daughter down the aisle at the event, where the bride wowed in a stunning custom Vera Wang gown, while family members including her twin sister Jenna and her grandfather George H. W., watched on. The wedding, which was officiated by Barbara´s aunt, Dorothy Bush Koch,

The style of dress is fine for this type of informal ceremony but it looks about two sizes too big for her.

The thing I liked best about the Bush girls is they didn´t act like entitled spoiled brats. They pretty much stayed away from the limelight. Unlike the spawn of barry.

Too cold for that nightgown of a wedding dress! It was too exposing, for my taste.

Very understated, while they could have had a million dollar bash like Chelsea Clinton did if she had wanted to. Overall, the Bush family does not flaunt wealth or priviledge. Wishing the newlyweds well.

Her dress style is quite popular now, a sheath style. I think it looks like a negligee and it can only be worn by very, very thin women. Not my style but it’s not my wedding. I think she looks lovely. I wish them much happiness.

Best wishes to the bride and groom. Oh well, the dress is well, New York, and she is a New York gal. She looks pretty on her special day. Barbara doesn’t like the limelight as Jenna does so I am glad she could keep her event fairly secret. Hint, hint, keeping things under cover builds “interest” for the People magazine spread. These political families have expert PR folks.

The left press LIKES the Bushes, #2. Jenna is employed by NBC — which has been the family’s preferred news network for quite awhile.

My respect and admiration for the Bushes in general has really gone downhill, including the girls.

Do you remember when the Bush daughters wrote a sweet letter to the Obama daughters about life and growing up in the White House? It was very nice and welcoming.

That was nice of them, but where´s the one to Barron...from anyone?

#12- Agree. Simple, elegant, typically Barbara--based on several of the gowns she has worn through her adult years. A little too low and loose-fitting cleavage for most women, but the gown “is Barbara.” She made a beautiful bride. Although disappointed in the Bush family and their behavior since President Trump was elected, do extend sincere best wishes to Barbara and Craig for a lasting, loving marriage.

So glad to see Jenna´s sweet little daughters. Jenna looks so much like her dad.

The Bush girls have been able to keep a low profile today, it seems; the press was so unkind to them while their dad was in office.

Wonderful that grand-dad George H.W. was well enough to attend. He was a fighter pilot in the Pacific during WWII, shot down, etc. He never seemed to emphasize that in campaigns, and I wonder if he could have beaten Clinton if he had brought to light his Naval service. I do believe that many Americans are unaware of his courageous service in the military.

Laura looks lovely, as always.

Yes, the bridal dress is very New York. The veil is lovely.

Happy day for the family.

Vera Wang? Guess I will have to drop that designer from my list of haute couture providers. The fit above the waist is poorly done. Couture is all about fit! FLOTUS Barbara Bush´s memoir even addressed this very topic of err, sideways exposure.

So, it appears the rich and privileged have an itchy desire to disrobe. My theory is that nanny/mummy made a bargain: we are gonna go out in public now with lots of people taking our pictures, so keep your hands in your pockets and smile. When we´re done, we´ll all go skinny dippin´ under the stars. Nudity was offered as a reward for fitting into a cookie cutter mold that the rest of humanity cannot fathom. Or....?

Don´t like me commenting on the wedding dress, don´t ship pics of it to People. Icky, icky, icky inappropriate wedding dress, all the more ridiculous because of Jenna Bush´s Kountry Kupboard accompanying dress. Can you say ´tasteless´ all around?

Well I love the dress - simply beautiful, though I must say there ain´t much to hold it up so in some pics the design loses its appeal.

The bride does bear a strong resemblance to her namesake. I hope that she can start eating now that the wedding is over. The sideview pic showing ribs is a little disturbing.

On Friday afternoon, after the GOP had yielded to Democratic pressure and agreed to extend the confirmation process for Judge Brett Kavanaugh one week to allow for a further FBI investigation, there were plenty of conservatives who surmised that the Democrats and their cohorts would not ultimately settle for that agreement, but move the goalposts even farther away so they could delay the confirmation as far as they possibly could. The last thing Democrats wanted to do in October 2018 was talk about the Clintons. Bill and Hillary Clinton aren’t just the past of the Democratic Party. The once-enormously-popular two-term president and the party’s 2016 standard-bearer are the living embodiments of two of the Democrats’ biggest problems: hypocrisy about the #MeToo movement, which they believe they can exploit politically, and contempt for the working-class voters who cost the party the last presidential election. A federal judge in Los Angeles on Monday threw out adult-film actress Stormy Daniel’s defamation lawsuit against President Trump on free-speech grounds. “The court agrees with Mr. Trump’s argument because the tweet in question constitutes ‘rhetorical hyperbole’ normally associated with politics and public discourse in the U.S.,” U.S. District Judge S. James Otero in Los Angeles said in a ruling Monday, as Bloomberg reported. “The First Amendment protects this type of rhetorical statement.” As Fox News previously reported, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, sued the president in April over a tweet in

The media and other Democrats are extremely concerned about missing Jamal Khashoggi, as they should be, and they believe the Saudis murdered him. I am just curious why they had so little concern about other people who have been killed and why there is so much coverage about Khashoggi in comparison: On Dec. 14, 2010 border guard Brian Terry was murdered with an AK-47 provided by the Obama administration. President Obama and his attorney general, Eric Holder, improperly withheld information from Congress for years, showing they had little empathy at all for Terry while journalists throughout the country and other

WASHINGTON— She took the DNA test President Donald Trump urged, and he mocked her for it. Now Sen. Elizabeth Warren is taking a page from Trump´s playbook, hitting back in personal terms and calling him "creepy" on Twitter. When it comes to challenging the man who redefined the rules of American political combat, the Massachusetts Democrat, who´s weighing a 2020 presidential run, is often doing it Trump´s way. And like Trump, she´s getting blowback: Jokes. Objections. And grumblings from her own political party about timing, with midterm elections three weeks away. A look at how it´s playing out:_

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians issued a statement largely supporting Sen. Elizabeth Warren´s recent DNA test to confirm her Native American ancestry — breaking with another tribe that called the move "inappropriate and wrong." Eastern Band Principal Chief Richard Sneed said in a statement to Business Insider on Tuesday that while they "strongly condemn" people who try to pass off distant Native ancestry as their race, they don´t believe that Warren has appropriated their culture. "Senator Elizabeth Warren does not claim to be a citizen of any tribal nation, and she is not a citizen of the Eastern Band,"

A judge ruled Tuesday that an Obama-era set of consumer protections for defrauded students will go into effect immediately, after repeated attempts by the Trump administration and the for-profit college sector to delay the regulation. "Today´s decision is a huge win for defrauded borrowers around the country," said Julie Murray, an attorney at Public Citizen Litigation Group. "The rule is finally in effect. No more excuses. No more delays." Judge Randolph D. Moss, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., denied on Tuesday a for-profit college industry group´s request to postpone the rule. That comes after Moss ruled last month
