Terrifying climate change warning:
12 years until we’re doomed

New York Post, by Lia Eustachewich

Earth is on track to face devastating consequences of climate change — extreme drought, food shortages and deadly flooding — unless there’s an “unprecedented” effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, a new United Nations report warns. The planet’s surface has already warmed by 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and could see a catastrophic 1.5 C (2.7 F) increase between 2030 and 2052, scientists say. “This is concerning because we know there are so many more problems if we exceed 1.5 degrees C global warming, including more heat waves and hot summers,

Relax folks. The earth didn´t end in 2000, or in 2012, and now we´ve got a reprieve for 12 more years.

Too late! Al Gore already predicted, based on science, that the world would end in 2012 because of Climate Change. And we all know how honest and smart these people are, based on science.

More Junk Science.

An audit of the temperature data used to make this claim concludes that "it’s far too sloppy to be taken seriously even by climate scientists, let alone a body as influential as the IPCC or by the governments of the world."

I like the phrase "even by climate scientists", as climate ´science´ is long on predictions of impending disaster (and demands for more funding) and short on reproducible results that accurately show what is happening in the real world.
In other words, it typically does NOT use the Scientific Method. Data and methods are often NOT provided (see Michael Mann and his ´Hockey Stick´). The whole thing is a sham to scare people into giving up their wealth and freedom. (Example: the Paris ´Climate Accord´ money-transfer scheme.)

I see the pendulum of how far it is to ´Doomsday´ is swinging back to a shorter time-frame.
At first, the time-frame was too short, and people remembered AlGore´s predictions of disaster when the predicted day of disaster arrived, and there was no disaster.
So the Chicken Little crowd moved the ´Day of Disaster´ off 30 or so years into the future, so that the predictions can be reliably forgotten (and the Doomsayer ´scientists´ safely retired) by they time the predicted Day of Reckoning arrived. But, 30-years was too far away... no-one cared.
So, they are moving the date closer, now 12 years.... trying, by trial-and-error, to find a date that is close enough to scare people today, yet will be far enough in the future that the predictions will be forgotten when the predicted Day of Doom arrives, only to find that it is just like any other day, and that the Sky did NOT Fall.

This isn’t all bad news. The “food shortages” could end the billions in subsidies that we pay farmers not to grow food. Might also end use of corn to create ethanol if Iowans allow this. “Doomed” would also mean that the $1.3 trillion in student loans would not have to be paid back. And, nearly bankrupt Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare will only have to struggle for 8 more years while the federal government would not have to worry about balancing its budget or paying down the $22 trillion in Treasury debt. And for Democrats, it would mean that Kavanaugh’s lifetime appointment would only mean until 2012.

Climate change is all a hoax, but what better way to raise a multitude of taxes and further control every aspect of our lives, for the worse. Climate change is the progressives magic wand for destroying Western civilization.

Trying to help with early campaigning for the Democrats. Is no more likely to help the Democrats than it helped to accuse Justice Kavanaugh of yelling "Choo Choo! Here comes the Rape Train!" This is that dumb. The sun has gone quiet and the likelihood is we are in for a cooling - also natural. Watch for the best scientists to peel off from warming and start blaming us all for cooling instead, somehow attributing that to President Trump. Watch for it.

According to the smartest man on earth, Elon Musk, we are all already dead and this ´life´ is just a computer simulation like the Matrix.
So it is very likely that the past unheeded warnings came true but the matrix was just rebooted so we would get another chance, kind of like a never ending Groundhog day until we get it right.
That, to me sounds as reasonable as what the ´climate change´ crowd is pitching.

After seeing how Leftists determine "truth" as displayed in the SCOTUS hearings, it becomes easier to understand how they keep insisting that Global Warming is coming to get us in the persistent failure of their "proof", the failure of their models, and the exposure of their lies and tactics.

To the Left, insinuation seems to be reality. That approach is an anathema to real science which requires rigid and repeatable proof and is always open to examination and questioning. As soon as Alarmists proclaimed the science settled and tried to stifle debate with legal punishments and ostracization, they PROVED they had abandoned science for a political/religious belief.

Luckily most people are not overly concerned about environmental problems, about 1% recently, so the Climate Alarmists are like the hysterical protesters ineffectively scratching at the Supreme Court doors while Kavanaugh was being sworn in.

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp perfectly summed up Hillary Clinton’s insistence that Democrats can’t be civil to Republicans until they regain control of Congress. Quoth the North Dakota Democrat: “That’s ridiculous.” Actually, “ridiculous” is an understatement. Clinton — clearly desperate to regain a foothold in national politics — has openly embraced the far-left mob and its calls to wage relentless war. Her justification: Republicans, she suggests, started it — and she’s been unfairly on the receiving end for 25 years. So, she told CNN, “Democrats have to be tougher,” because “

Democrats suffered a stinging loss in the fight over Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, and have concluded that the constitutional system is to blame. You see, if only the Founders hadn’t forged the Great Compromise between large states and small states at the Constitutional Convention in 1787, giving each state equal representation in the US Senate, they would have defeated Brett Kavanaugh handily. It’s only because smaller red states have two senators just like larger blue states that the judge got confirmed. For the left, the US Senate is now looming, together with the Electoral College and the Supreme Court,

Nearly everybody loves music. In fact, music can often bridge the gaps between people when nothing else can. And there are few things more fun than seeing people react to hit songs. There’s definitely no formula to what constitutes a hit song, although some songs were natural hits from the first time they made their way on the radio – think about songs like “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” or “Irreplaceable.” Other tunes become smashes inexplicably. But there’s a whole different category of hits: overrated songs. Some singles have no business being popular or well-loved, and

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) launched a bizarre Twitter rant late Monday afternoon following the disastrous rollout of DNA results that further debunked her decades-long claim to American Indian ancestry. Warren’s thread of 20-plus (and counting) tweets began at about 5:30 p.m. ET, where she attempted to both insult President Trump and defend herself. In her first tweet, and without any evidence, Warren made the outlandish claim that Trump “makes creepy physical threats about me.” The truth is that all Trump has ever done is ridicule her false claims about being Cherokee. “We all know why @realDonaldTrump makes creepy

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has released a DNA test that shows “strong evidence” she has Native-American heritage, rebutting President Donald Trump’s ridicule of her as “fake Pocahontas” while she signals a possible 2020 presidential run. Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, said last month she would take a “hard look” at running for the Democratic nomination to challenge Republican Trump in 2020. She and Trump clashed frequently through the 2016 presidential campaign and Trump has cast aspersions on her claim to Native-American ancestry. “When I decided to run for Senate in 2012, I never thought that my family’s Native American heritage would come

Trouble. Trouble. Trouble. Singer Taylor Swift endorsed Democrat Phil Bredesen on October 8th in the Tennessee Senate race. Swift also smeared Marsha Blackburn with far left nonsense. But unfortunately Bredesen’s campaign has collapsed since the endorsement. James O’Keefe and Project Veritas caught Bredesen campaign staffers admitting that he has been deceiving voters and attempting to appear more moderate than he actually is. Bredesen, who was recently endorsed by Taylor Swift, has infamously claimed that he would have voted to confirm Justice Brett Kavanaugh — but his campaign says it is just a vote grab.

Former Vice President Al Gore declared that scientists predicted hurricane "consequences" of climate change and warned "they´re going to get a lot worse still until we stop using the Earth´s atmosphere as an open sewer." Gore was reacting to this week´s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report in which 91 authors and editors from 40 countries concluded there´s currently a 12-year window to make “far-reaching and unprecedented changes” to avert dramatic effects of global warming. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the report should be an "ear-splitting wake-up call to the world" as "it confirms that climate

Elections: American democracy has a problem — a voting problem. According to a new study of U.S. Census data, America has more registered voters than actual live voters. It´s a troubling fact that puts our nation´s future in peril. The data come from Judicial Watch´s Election Integrity Project. The group looked at data from 2011 to 2015 produced by the U.S. Census Bureau´s American Community Survey, along with data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. As reported by the National Review´s Deroy Murdock, who did some numbers-crunching of his own, "some 3.5 million more people are registered to vote

Hillary Clinton says her husband´s affair with Monica Lewinsky when she was a White House intern wasn´t an abuse of power because the 22-year-old ´was an adult´ at the time. Speaking on CBS Sunday, Hillary also said she believed Bill was right not to resign as President in the wake of the scandal after he was impeached for lying about the affair. When asked if her husband should have stepped down, Hillary responded: ´Absolutely not.´ (Snip) ´But let me ask you this: Where´s the investigation of the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made, and which

Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading the field of prospective 2020 Democratic candidates, according to a recent poll from CNN. The CNN/SSRS poll, which surveyed 1,009 adults between October 4 and 7, found that one-third—or 33 percent—of Democrats and independents who leaned Democratic thought Biden would be the most likely to take on President Trump in the 2020 presidential election. (Tweet) Those polled also thought it is more likely that Trump would win a second term—46 percent of respondents said Trump would win re-election while 47 percent said he would not win re-election. Of the other 2020 Democratic hopefuls,

On Oct. 14, CBS’s “60 Minutes” aired an interview with President Donald Trump — rare for its status as having appeared outside of Fox News or conservative media. Appearing the same weekend as First Lady Melania Trump’s appearance on “20/20,” this would seem to represent a new level of media blitzing on the part of an administration that’s already seen its head get plenty of free promotion during rallies broadcast on cable news. And, like Melania Trump’s utterly-on-message, relentlessly forward-moving TV interview, the President’s interview had effectively the same impact as a rally; it allowed him to bulldoze his chief
