Looters raided shops, homes and cars as Hurricane Florence slammed into North Carolina, according to a report Friday. At least four crooks were busted near Wilmington, where the powerful storm forced residents to evacuate — creating a looter paradise of empty buildings, local cops told WWAY News. “Naturally, you’ll have individuals that will try to look for opportunities to prey upon people when they are at their most vulnerable,” Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram told the outlet. “In this situation, we’ve had a lot of people that have evacuated their homes and businesses …

Let´s see, there are several options during a hurricane. Lock up and evacuate. volunteer to assist in rescues, check on your elderly or single mom neighbors, stay at home and guard your property, or go rip off someone already hurting - choices - only one bad one. Hero or cad. Hope the judge is swift and severe.

Here´s the "free stuff" mentality in all its glory. Wanna bet that the majority of these perps are Democrat supporters who "want what you got"? Too harsh?
Well likely these perps pay no taxes as well, while those who were looted, do. The last question: "Are any looters illegals?"

The "Hurricane of ´38" which struck New England full force, wiped out Watch Hill RI, among other coastal communities and cause tremendous damage all the way to Framingham, Massachusetts.

Water in downtown Providence rose to the second story in areas.

Of course, looting began.

The authorities put out word that looters would be shot.

Some looters decided to disregard the warnings.

A couple of dead looters later, and looting stopped.

The authorities did the right thing. Looters are dastardly and despicable. That´s the behavior of barbarians and vandals.

There used to be a cable show called Bait Car, where the police rigged a car with cameras and remote control. It was placed in high crime areas.
Youngsters, mostly minority, were quick to steal the car, left running, keys in the ignition. And when the police turned off the ignition using the remote control, the lads concocted wonderful, quickly created stories about why they were in the car.
I concluded that some lads have no impulse control.

Stop them in their tracks and make an example out of them. They have no fear.

In this week’s gubernatorial primaries in Florida and last month’s in Georgia, both Republicans and Democrats picked certain losers. Or so would’ve gone the conventional wisdom in previous years. In the past, had the GOP picked candidates for governor that were Donald Trump clones, the assumption would’ve been it had gone off the deep end and thrown away any chance for victory. By the same token, had the Democrats picked African-American “progressives” to run in these two southern states, pundits would have said they’d conceded any chance of victory in November.

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.
