Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is reportedly planning to run for president in 2020 as a Democrat, setting up the potential for a billionaire-on-billionaire showdown. Fast-food giant Chipotle rehired a manager of one of its Minnesota franchises it had fired after she was recorded in a series of viral cellphone videos refusing to serve a group of young black men unless they paid first. The restaurant chain said in a statement Monday that it reversed it´s decision after it "spent the last few days reviewing the evidence available to us regarding the incident." PHILADELPHIA — Four people were found shot and killed execution-style in a basement Monday afternoon in southwest Philadelphia, CBS Philadelphia reports. Philadelphia police say two men and two women were found in the basement of a home with one gunshot wound each to the head. They were all pronounced dead at the scene. JACKSON, Miss. - A white Republican senator’s casual reference to a “public hanging” has invigorated a special election runoff in Mississippi, fueling Democratic hopes of an upset in a conservative state with an ugly history of racist violence. The U.S. Senate race between appointed Republican incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith and Democrat Mike Espy, a black former congressman and U.S. agriculture secretary, will test the power of the black vote and the viability of Democrats in a region where Republicans have dominated for decades. The Nov. 27 runoff caps a congressional election cycle drawn out by recounts and too-close-to-call races.

Democrats thinking about running for president in 2020 are dramatically changing the way the party talks about race in Donald Trump’s America: Get ready to hear a lot more about intersectionality, allyship, inclusivity and POC. White and nonwhite Democratic hopefuls are talking more explicitly about race than the party’s White House aspirants ever have — and shrugging off warnings that embracing so-called identity politics could distract from the party’s economic message and push white voters further into Donald Trump’s arms. While the 2020 primary will feature debates about Medicare for all and college affordability, the Democratic base also wants

That´s a lot of property to protect when a fast-moving wildfire is approaching, and county fire departments and volunteers often can´t manage the job alone. Despite having round anuses like other mammals, wombats do not produce round pellets, tubular coils or messy piles. Researchers revealed on Sunday the varied elasticity of the intestines help to sculpt the poop into cubes.
