"Cheap Last Minute Trick” With

Real Clear Politics, by Tim Hains

Via the GOP War Room YouTube channel: On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough and Mike Barnicle slam Senator Dianne Feinstein and Democratic staffers for her letter on Judge Brett Kavanaugh and following leaks to the press as a “cheap last minute trick” and a “true danger” to nomination processes.

Comments:
You know it’s really bad when the lefties mock a left-wing Senator like Feinstein.

When you have lost both the FBI and PMSNBC this fast, you know you screwed up big time. Especially since there are now SIXTY FIVE women defending Kavanaugh now. I cannot tell you how proud I am of these women. To wade into the slime soaked and sleazy fray of battle like this, to defend their former classmate, is quite impressive.

Even Justice Ginsburg agrees Feinstein is a cheep political hack and a stupid person.

Just to liven things up, President Trump should appoint a replacement for Justice Ginsburg and ask her to retire. I do not agree with Ms. Ginsburg´s liberalism on the SCOTUS. And, she has out lived her shelf life, but, she is a feisty lady with a keen whit.

Inconsistencies emerge in Kavanaugh

Christine Blasey Ford´s allegation that Brett Kavanaugh tried to force himself on her when they were teens has thrown his Supreme Court nomination into doubt. But as senators spar over the terms for a new hearing which may or may not happen, inconsistencies in the story have emerged that could embolden Kavanaugh´s defenders. (Snip) "There are an awful lot of questions, inconsistencies, gaps, and that´s why to be fair to both, we need to know what happened," Maine Sen. Christine Blasey Ford alleges that nearly 40 years ago Brett Kavanaugh, who was 17 years old at the time, tried to sexually assault her. Alcohol was involved; Kavanaugh was reportedly a drunken mess. Christmas has come early for Democrats. They’re going to Me Too Kavanaugh, score points with their liberal base, and whip up college-educated urban women in times for the 2018 midterms, right? The GOP will buckle under the pressure, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Jeff Flake, will break ranks.

A prestigious family of medical journals has retracted multiple articles authored by Cornell professor Brian Wansink, a food researcher and onetime media darling whose work has increasingly been questioned by critics in recent years. The American Medical Association’s JAMA Network said it retracted six papers, including those about how serving bowl size affected food consumption, how fasting changed people’s food preferences and how action-packed television programs increased food intake. The articles now appear online with a note at the top in red that says “article alert” and directs readers to a retraction note.

Seems the Democrats (and likely some Republicans) are wailing in fear over President Trump’s recent order to declassify FISA docs related to the Trump/Russia collusion hoax. Consider this: If the president had a DOJ working for him instead of against him, those responsible for perpetrating that hoax and attempting to subvert democracy in America would likely already be in jail. As it is, Mr. Trump has had to largely go it alone in D.C. as he continues to work very hard to drain the swamp on behalf of the American people. (Herman Cain tweet)

Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.
