Laura Ingraham’s Brother
Goes to War Against Her

The Daily Beast, by Maxwell Tani

Original Article

Posted By:danvillebill, 9/12/2018 5:47:14 PM

Curtis Ingraham uses Twitter to vent his political frustrations—like many left-leaning users in the Trump era. To an audience of just a few hundred followers, the Northern California-based teacher expresses outrage at new White House policies, engages with popular #resistance figures like former George W. Bush speechwriter David Frum and the Krassenstein brothers, and bashes Trump’s right-wing media cheerleaders on Fox News. While most of his tweets go largely unnoticed, a few people have taken notice because of what he has to say about one media personality in particular: his sister, Fox News primetime host Laura Ingraham.

Comments:
I truly don´t understand this kind of nonsense.
I have relatives in San Fran, Silicon Valley, Marin County, Portland and NYC. They are all libs. We agree on almost nothing politically. Yet we love each other, have fun together and feel blessed that we are family. Hopefully Laura´s brother will get some perspective on what´s important in life. In my world, family vs. politics is a very easy choice. There is ALWAYS something to talk about besides politics.

I have a radical adult offspring who is a graduate of some of the most elite schools in the country. This adult offspring no longer speaks to us because we voted for Trump. The brainwashing that goes on at these colleges would have been unfathomable to me just two years ago.

A. You don´t get to pick your family.
B. When one is ignorant about how large a playing field they are entering, it just makes the sibling cringe.
Curtis, you aren´t special. You no not of what you babble. Do you really want to cause your sister that much pain? Why would anyone allow a vindictive person like you near their children in any setting? Have you considered what you are doing to your loved ones? Are you actually that callous, or simply ignorant? Grow up.

What does he have to complain or worry about?

He lives in California, where they aren´t in any danger of much of the Trump agenda, but may benefit from the tax cuts and corporate tax rate reductions (they won´t give those back, I´ll bet).

If it´s abortion? Heck, it´s in the CA constitution that it will be legal even if Roe is overturned - so that would NOT be an issue for anyone in California (12% of the United States population).

He has a very nice state pension coming when he retires (likely 2% of his final pay year times the number of years worked - so if 30 years x 2 = 60% pension, in this example. Average teacher salary in CA is $70K, so at 30 years, it´s likely going to be $100K plus)
Laura has to work hard and save to have her retirement.

He´ll have lifelong medical covered too, and the state will be the supplemental after he is required to enroll in Medicare.

Poor guy, huh?

Good Lord, I think I (and all of us who watch, and listen to, and love Laura) know her better than her brother does. Makes me sad that families are so divided by politics now, but it is a new reality we have to live with. My family has not escaped it either, but I can tell you that the members of the family who don´t like the Trump supporters in the family have become so belligerent and caustic they aren´t missed at family gatherings.

What a sad, inarticulate, unfocused, emotion (no love though) driven bunch of drivel. I agree with some of the other posters, I think he´s jealous of his sister´s fame and success. Also, if these quotes are accurate, he´s not half as smart as his sister. This sort of random raving is very typical of many leftists. They don´t really know what they´re talking about, but their political leaders stir them up emotionally and so they lash out in anger and frustration.

He changed from a young Goldwater supporter to a lefty during the hippy days when he dropped out of Stanford (on scholarship no less) to get his "head on straight ". I am 11 years younger so I kept my head on my shoulders (thank goodness missed the hippy era) and became more conservative than my center right-leaning parents. He still loves Obama. The company´s 2018 lineup, specifically the iPhone XS and XS Max, delivers on that promise: They´re the smartest, fastest, best iPhones we´ve seen to date. But at this point, buying an updated iPhone is like getting a new Ferrari -- you´ll find a faster engine, a new coat of paint, and a few new bells and whistles, but beneath all that it´s still basically the same car you could have bought last year. And just like that new Ferrari, these new iPhones are going to cost you a lot of money.

After staying mostly quiet for the last year and a half, Barack Obama has emerged to campaign for the Democrats in the midterm elections. The king of hypocrisy wasted no time denouncing President Trump for being divisive and failing to respect the Constitution. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.
