Trump signs executive order that would
punish countries or people who try to

intelligence chief says ´It´s more*

Daily Mail [UK], by Geoff Earle

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that would allow his administration to target individuals or nations who seek to interfere in U.S. elections, sending a signal to Russia and others following efforts to meddle in his own election. The order comes two months before Americans go to the polls in elections that will determine control of Congress, potentially dramatically reshaping the balance of power in Washington. The sanctions would target not just foreign meddling in physical election infrastructure, but propaganda and other tactics, following efforts by a Kremlin-backed outfit use Facebook and other social media to try to create divisions

The real threat to our elections comes from within. This is a brilliant move. The left thinks this is prompted by the Russians when it´s really directed to the DNC. Let´s see the voting machines tampered with now.

Is voter fraud considered “election meddling“? How about checking the voter rolls to find out how many illegals will be voting?

Ya know....

I´m somewhat mystified that NO ONE has taken Great Britain to task for their attempts to influence the 2016 election. As an example, you cant tell me that their stunt of publicly threatening to issue a Trump travel ban wasn´t intended to influence American voters. Never mind British intelligence agencies "sharing" information with the Obama intelligence agencies.

The Republican National Committee on Monday backed comments by President Trump that were critical of retired Navy Admiral William McRaven, best known for overseeing the Navy SEAL operation that resulted in the death of Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden. In a Twitter post from its official @GOP account, the RNC noted that McRaven "was reportedly on Hillary Clinton’s short list for Vice President in 2016." "He’s been critical of President @realDonaldTrump— even dating back to the 2016 campaign," the tweet added. "He’s hardly a non-political figure." WASHINGTON - Sixteen Democratic members of Congress vowed on Monday to oppose fellow Democrat Nancy Pelosi’s bid to become speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, but none of them openly said they would run against her. They were not joined by Representative Marcia Fudge of Ohio, the only potential Pelosi rival to emerge so far from the party’s rank and file. As Democrats wrestle with the choice of speaker for 2019-2020, Pelosi has argued that even at the age of 78 she is best qualified, rejecting some younger Democrats’ argument that a new generation of leaders was needed. Troubled Broward County in Florida had a reason to celebrate on Sunday as it submitted its recounted vote totals to the secretary of state´s office with 52 minutes to spare. But its neighboring Palm Beach County got its votes in a mere one second before the noon deadline. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Rick Scott, Florida’s outgoing governor, was declared the winner on Sunday of his hard-fought U.S. Senate race against incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson following a hand recount of ballots, giving Republicans control of both of the state’s Senate seats for the first time since the 19th century. In the recount of the Nov. 6 election, Scott won by 10,033 votes out of 8.19 million cast statewide, Florida elections officials said. Scott took 50.05 percent, compared to 49.93 percent for Nelson, they added. A three-term senator first elected to the chamber in 2000, Nelson, 76, telephoned Scott, 65,

It has been speculated that Mitt Romney’s Utah Senate seat could serve as a prelude to another Presidential run. In the most ambitious version of events, he could even challenge Donald Trump in the 2020 primaries, newly legitimized and augmented by his actions in the Capitol Building. This would allow moderate Republicans to reclaim their party’s mantle and unroot alt-right influences. But would Romney do it? His willingness to unequivocally challenge Trump could be seen either as a pro or con by Republicans, depending on their opinions of the sitting president.

To look back at the moment John Kerry entered US public life, addressing the Senate foreign relations committee on 22 April 1971, is to be struck by many things. There are the famous words, of course: “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?” There is the shock of dark, Beatles-inspired hair, the distinctly British-tinged accent. Above all, there is the self-possession.
