A scene from Dr. Dean's recurring nightmare

Read It, Weep, Then Roll Up Your Sleeves: Your day is about to get off to a rocky start with the Enquirer/Daily News story that Rush Limbaugh has been a major pill-head. It's a nasty story and there are things about it that don't add up. Whatever the follow-up to this awful business may be, now is not the time to desert a man who has changed all our lives so profoundly. If Rush is in pain, so should we be. He was there for us back during the dark years. The days ahead may be very dark for him. Let's repay the debt. Hang tough, never waver, they are about to attack the heart of conservatism and shall not prevail. To quote the Baroness, "Now is not the time to go wobbly."
The La-La Times Tries To Go Porno: Just as predicted, the Gray Davis crowd has dropped their little pre-election day stink-bomb on Arnold Schwarzenegger. They got the Los Angeles Times to light the fuse. There is information ten times sleazier than this about Clinton but it's sealed up in the Ford building for the next fifty years. That stuff had decent Congressmen clutching the walls and racing to the men's room to hurl. This is anonymous silliness and if this is the best they can do Gally-vorn-ya's about to get a Guvenator by a landslide.
"The Hack in the Hermes Tie": May we suggest this as the title of the movie of his life that Joe "Frog March" Wilson is musing about? Seldom do we see a Washington-type in the middle of a scandalette so pleased with himself or giddy from the attention. Now that his wife has been "outed" there is nothing to stop the two of them from taking their act on the road. How long before HBO's K Street "rips" this from the headlines?
Ldotter Note: We are back from jury duty (they rejected us, boo-hoo not) and oddly rested. There was a wonderful note with a more than generous donation waiting from an Ldotter living abroad. He tells us he was a border-line liberal until he found Lucianne.com and now he has seen the light. This makes it all worthwhile.
