Let's discuss your "watershed" moment. All of us have had some event that
changed our mind about something we firmly believed until then. Whether it
was race, religion, politic belief or just a set of mind thought you would
never change. This will take a bit of thought but it's too hot to go outside.
Stay inside and think.
Party elephants: The Rev. Al Sharpton told California democrat leaders in Sacramento Saturday to halt their party's centrist drive to 'become Republican-like to win.' He also criticized democrats for allying themselves with traditional Republican themes and for becoming a party of 'elephants hiding in donkey uniforms.'
Still confused: Democrats said Saturday in Florida that the ballot for the high-profile democrat gubernatorial primary is confusing and could cause its voters the same problems as they suffered in the 2000 elections. Late word has it they may sue. In Broward county, a new ballot mystery unfolds.
When all else fails: A 14-year-old-boy found himself in a jam Friday night after he was locked out of his house. Salt Lake County firefighters were called to rescue the teenager when it was discovered he'd tried an unusual way to gain entry - 'Santa-style'.
Finally, a win for food: In a win for all kids, young and old, Mister Softee prevailed against the city government in Hartford. It seems that the ordinance being used to silence the summer-treat was invalid or did the EPA become environmental-friendly?
