Another One Bites The Dust: Like every drug bust we see on
television, the
news late yesterday that
WorldCom declared bankruptcy
is said to be "the
biggest." The news starts this sweltering week off badly but we shall
prevail.
Grab Your Sox and Not Your Stox: New York Stock Exchange honcho Dick
Grasso
made the Sunday rounds telling us all to hang tough, hold on, keep our heads
down, our powder dry and don't panic. Plenty of platitudes but
good advice all together.
As the Brits stay.........steady on.
Go. We Are Begging You: The good people of Ohio should rise up as
one and
demand Gas Bag (literally) James Traficant
stop representing them this
instant. This
looks like his last week
which is good news. He isn't even
colorful anymore.
Bubble Heads: While you are keeping your hands off the phone and
that
unpatriotic call to your broker, read this editorial in the Washington
Times.
Tony Blankley is in charge of the clear headed editorial thinking over there
now and
we like what he has to say
about the birth of the bubble.
The Fox and Larry (No) Show: Sunk deep in Howie Kurtz's Monday piece
is a
look at the problems Larry Klayman is having with Fox over his most recent
publicity gambit of suing the hands that fed and deeply annoying the hands
that write checks. Buried even deeper in this tidbit is
the real reason you won't see the judicial gadfly
on that cable station. Even before this latest
bit, he "demanded" to be on. They hate it when that happens. One Ldotter
comments that Klayman has been "Brocked" which reminded us that we've heard
the feckless turncoat is back in the hospital. We are told he's avoiding
those who are "out to get him."
Radio Daze: There is a great deal of turmoil in online radio
streaming
of late.
Here's one example:
Yahoo.com is another. They have dropped archiving shows and ours is one of
them. If you want to listen on the web you will now have to listen live at
the ungodly hour of 8:00 a.m. EST to catch our pearls of wisdom on the
TalkRadioNetwork.com web site.
