Erik Prince fights accusations he
tried to help set up Russia back

Fox News, by Leland Vittert

EXCLUSIVE – Erik Prince tells Fox News that there was no perjury, no collusion and no attempt to set up a back channel to the Kremlin when he met with a Russian oligarch weeks before President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Prince, who is the founder of the Blackwater private security firm and brother to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, says accusations that he lied to the House Intelligence Committee simply aren’t true. (Snip) Responding to the reports Thursday, Adam Schiff, ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, told reporters the Seychelles meeting crossed the line: “This Seychelles meeting was part of an

Comments:
I love this! As we all know Prince is sure no shrinking violet. He wouldn´t be in the business he is in and behave like a wussy like Barack Obama. I didn´t know until I read this that he was the brother of Betsy DeVos. What an impressive family. He´s certainly not going to be intimidated by the liars at WaPO or the worthless, corrupt Democrats.

Contd. FTA: "Prince testified last year before the House Intelligence Committee about his meeting and Thursday, Democrats pounced on reports that Lebanese-American businessman George Nader told the special counsel he was at the meeting...Prince, who testified without an attorney present, says his comments about meetings with the UAE government, its advisers and delegations in the Seychelles cover Nader who worked for the Emiratis."

The equally obnoxious Eric Swalwell accused Prince of lying because he didn´t specifically name Nader.

FTA: "Now Schiff wants Prince to testify again before the committee; Prince tells Fox News, “There is no need. Schiff is grasping at straws, and his feelings were hurt when I scolded them about leaking my work I did as a CIA” (nonofficial cover officer — the most dangerous of intelligence work)."

This really makes me smile.  I would give anything in the world to have seen the expression on the face of the little crapweasel Schiff after Prince scolded them about leaking information. That information sure wasn´t leaked by Schiff. It´s so enjoyable to see someone stand up to those lying Democrat hacks.

Erik Prince has more integrity than the FBI and Justice Dept. combined.

What difference does it make? It was after the election. The President has the right to set up back channels if he wants.

Also, #3, back channels may be the best way to do business, especially in today´s world.

I say put Schiff and Swalwell in a locked room with Prince for about 20 min - somewhere offshore and outside US jurisdiction. He´s entitled to regain his honor and satisfaction from them after they called him a liar.

I still contend that the way to restore good manners and civility in the public square is to legalize dueling.

Anyone called to testify in front of a congressional committee should refuse to do so because it will be leaked to the media within hours. How can they be held in contempt when it has happened over and over?

Makes sense. Candidate Trump was in cahoots with the Ruskies, but had no back channels established with them until after the election. Uhhhhh??

A Republican running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Oklahoma said he would "use" his Second Amendment if anyone treated his daughter the way President Trump treats women. Danny Stockstill, a Republican running for the vacant seat in Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District, admitted that, while he approves of Trump’s job in office, he doesn’t want him to be a role model for his children. “So why are we so afraid to say, ‘There’s no way I want my son to act like [Trump]?´" Stockstill said during a Tuesday night forum, according to the Tulsa World. “If my daughter ever

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R_FL) went on with Lou Dobbs on Wednesday and called out Speaker Paul Ryan for defending the deep state and refusing to defend Republican congressional investigators. Earlier today Paul Ryan defended the Obama FBI for spying on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. This was unbelievable. "Rep. Matt Gaetz: There is no defense today for Paul Ryan siding with the FBI and Department of Justice against those of us in the Congress who are working for transparency and accountability… We need the Speaker to be an institutionalist of the Congress and not to be a defender

The Justice Department signaled Wednesday in a letter to Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will not recuse himself from Special Counsel Robert Mueller´s Russia investigation unless department officials find it necessary. Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote that Rosenstein "would recuse from all or part of any matter if recusal were deemed appropriate by Department officials who are informed about the matter. "Otherwise," Boyd continued, "[Rosenstein] has a responsibility to fulfill his oath to well and faithfully execute the duties of his office." Graham sent a letter to Rosenstein last

The curious case of Imran Awan, which sounds like an international spy thriller, is entering its third act. Awan was a congressional IT aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and he was finally fired just after he was arrested trying to fly to Pakistan last summer. Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, were charged last summer with bank fraud. They now appear poised to strike a plea deal with the Department of Justice. (Snip) Sources tell me that the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has been looking into this matter since well before Awan and his crew of Pakistani

Melinda Gates has decided to enter the venture capital world by sending her money to people based at least partly on their sex and skin color, she said in a recent Fortune interview. “It’s been incredibly disappointing to watch how few women-led businesses are getting funded,” Gates said. “Ultimately, if we want more innovation and better products, we’ve got to put more money behind women and minorities. That wasn’t happening, so I decided to step in and see what I could do to help a little bit.” Here are other portions of her interview where Gates specifically says some criteria

The rhetorical attacks on incoming National Security Council Executive Secretary Fred Fleitz (the author’s former colleague) have been shrill and ineffective. Conservatives have rallied to Fleitz’ defense, bolstered in part by Fleitz’s long history of work as a Central Intelligence Agency analyst, State Department official, and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence staffer, along with his solid reputation working on Iran and nonproliferation-related issues. According to Trump administration insiders, the White House blames Obama allies and Iran deal advocates for ginning up the non-controversy, and there’s no indication of a willingness to surrender the scalp of a long-time national security

Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen. John McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner, urged top IRS officials, including then-director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner, to “audit so many that it becomes financially ruinous.” Kerner was appointed by President Trump as Special Counsel for the United States Office of Special Counsel. The explosive exchange was contained in notes taken by IRS employees at an April 30, 2013, meeting between Kerner, Lerner, and other high-ranking IRS officials. The Minnesota Vikings made history on Thursday. Vikings players, coaches and members of the LGBTQ community came together for a first of its kind inclusion summit held by an NFL team. The LGBTQ summit and fundraising event was held at the TCO Performance Center Auditorium in Eagan. It centered around bridging the gap between the LGBTQ community and sports. (snip) Kluwe´s hope is that the NFL and other sports leagues take notice, and it sparks conversations leading to more acceptance of the LGBTQ community in the athletic world.

Melania Trump made quite the sartorial statement on Thursday when she donned a jacket with the words, ´I REALLY DON´T CARE, DO U?´ written across the back while boarding a plane to visit immigrant children being held at the border in Texas. The 48-year-old first lady was pictured arriving at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland wearing the $39 khaki design from Zara, before boarding her plane to fly to Texas. She removed the offending jacket, which bore the controversial phrase in white graffiti-style writing across the entire back section, before disembarking the plane upon her arrival. (Photos) By the

Taxes: Whatever you think about the issue of taxing internet sales, the simple fact is that the Supreme Court has just guaranteed that people across the country will now be paying more in state taxes. It´s hard for us to see how this is good news. In its 5-4 decision on South Dakota v. Wayfair, the court overturned two previous rulings that prevented states from taxing sales of out-of-state companies. That meant a catalog company based in Maine didn´t have to navigate 45 state sales-tax laws to figure out how much each customer owed, and then remit that money to the

How´s this for sneaky? Sen. John McCain, not too long after seeking conservative and Republican votes in his failed 2008 bid for the presidency, went right after those same conservative voters without telling them, by egging on the IRS to ruin them. It´s the sort of political back-stabbing that defies belief, taking an active role in destroying the Tea Party, which was an authentic grassroots movement of local groups calling for smaller government. But sure enough, Judicial Watch has found McCain´s central role right there in the documents: Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen.

Sony Pictures Classics released a statement shredding actor Peter Fonda for his tweets, one of which called for 12-year-old Barron Trump to be raped — but the company said it would still release Boundaries, a new film co-starring Fonda.“Peter Fonda’s comments are abhorrent, reckless and dangerous, and we condemn them completely,” the film company said in an emailed statement late on Wednesday. However, the company went on to insist that pulling the upcoming Shana Feste-directed Boundaries, or trying to edit Fonda out of the film, would be “unfair” to the those involved. “It is important to note that Mr. Fonda
