Democrats dream of turning Texas into a blue state, thereby cementing the far left’s hold on America for the foreseeable future. They hope to make progress toward that goal this year, and they were counting on a blue wave of enraged liberals to emerge in Tuesday’s primaries as a harbinger of victory in November. They even hope that their man Beto O’Rourke can drive Ted Cruz out of the Senate. But no such blue wave emerged on Tuesday. True, just over one million votes were cast in the Democratic Senate primary, which O’Rourke won with 62% of the vote. But well

I remember thinking California wouldn´t go blue, but blue it did go.... Never underestimate these people, they cheat, steal and are relentless when it comes to power. I get so upset when I have to listen to people saying they´d wish CA would fall off into the ocean, get blown up, have the big one, etc. but what happened here can happen in any state, mark my words. Think of the states that were the reddest of red and are now purple.... it can happen.

And sadly, #1, since that happened in Cali, they are leaving in droves, moving to Texas and elsewhere bringing their corrupting influence with them. They refuse to learn.

After the run Trump and "We the People" have had since the start of 2017. You´d have to be as dumb as a Democrat to vote against Trump or the people he´s supporting.

I don´t care about tweets, or twits. Full time jobs and rising incomes trump all the anger and negativity the Dems and TV are peddling.

The prior 10 to 12 years were so bad, it´s hard to think, hope, or believe things could ever be better. But, they are. I don´t answer polls, but I´ll be there on election day. I suspect many others in a similar situation will too.

Go Trump! Build the wall. Repeal DACA, (the heck with them all, they had a chance to start citizenship)...and keep on MAGA´ing!!!

I heard this ad during Rush´s show yesterday and thought it was one of the parody songs done for The Rush Limbaugh Show. But no! Who knew Republicans would start to show a sense of humor?

On Sunday, Austin’s interim police chief Brian Manley told reporters at a news conference that investigators thought there was a motive behind what was then a string of three bombing attacks; they just didn’t know exactly what it was. “We believe that the recent explosive incidents that have occurred in the city of Austin were meant to send a message,” Manley told reporters. Then, he made a plea directly to the bomber: “These events in Austin have garnered worldwide attention, and we assure you that we are listening,” Manley said. “We want to understand what brought you to this point, and we

As Washington obsesses over alleged collusion involving the Russians and the current administration, a separate investigation in Little Rock looks into alleged corruption involving the previous administration and the Russians. “FBI agents are interviewing people,” Joseph diGenova, a former U.S. attorney hired by the president on Monday, told The American Spectator over the weekend. “That is a big deal. I can assure they are interviewing people because our firm represents one of the people they have interviewed.” DiGenova says the investigation has been “underway for some time” and involves the Clinton Foundation, “which includes Uranium One and its various transactions.” DiGenova notes

One of the things that motivated my old friend Andrew Breitbart was his righteous indignation at being called a racist. That’s a running theme in his book, Righteous Indignation. “Andrew Breitbart despised racism,” his friend Ben Shapiro told me. “He took pride in rejecting racism and fighting it tooth and nail. He saw it as a form of bullying. Nothing devastated him more personally than being maligned as racist.” He would also advise conservatives not to be deterred if their opponents on the left unfairly called them racists — something he rightly believed happened all the time. Indeed, one of the

Rex — or should we say Mr. Tillerson: Tuesday might have been a bit of a downer for you in Washington with the president dismissing you as Secretary of State. But now that you have the freedom to consider new opportunities and speak freely, our editorial board is urging you to come home to North Texas, to the beautiful home you and wife Renda have in Fort Worth. We could use your high-level talents. Fort Worth is in a rebuilding period, intent on competing more aggressively to attract the economic development interests that can provide cutting edge jobs and higher wagers. We want

How To Lose An Election In Texas

There are two ways to guarantee you’ll lose a statewide election in Texas: campaign for abortion or campaign against guns. Texas Democrats accomplished the first in 2014, when Wendy Davis lost the governor’s race to Greg Abbott by 20 points. Now they’re determined to do the second. Beto O’Rourke, the photogenic Democratic congressman from El Paso hoping to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in November, declared at a SXSW event Monday that there’s no reason an AR-15 should be sold to a civilian. According to Politico’s Michael Calderone, O’Rourke, who’s not shy about swearing on the campaign trail, added, “I have

Bitter clingers. The 47 percent who are takers. You’d think after Barack Obama and Mitt Romney got burned for coining these appellations, ambitious pols would learn not to talk about the opposing party’s voters that way. Both those comments were said before private audiences and leaked out. But Hillary did them better by offering her diagnosis of the “basket of deplorables” at a public campaign event. And she refuses to learn even still. At a conference in India yesterday she confidently explained the 2016 election this way: I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. . . .

The State Department said that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was informed of his own firing by President Donald Trump´s Tuesday morning tweet announcing the news. The secretary said that he was "unaware of the reason" for his firing, which he said he did not discuss with President Donald Trump before Trump announced his ouster on Tuesday morning. "The Secretary had every intention of staying because of the critical progress made in national security," Under-Secretary of State Steve Goldstein said in a statement. "The Secretary did not speak to the President and is unaware of the reason, but he is

BREAKING: President Trump signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill Friday despite an earlier threat to veto the legislation due to the lack of border wall funding and a fix for DACA. EARLIER STORY: President Trump sparked fears of an impending government shutdown Friday by threatening to veto a $1.3 trillion spending bill passed by Congress, citing the lack of a deal that would include protection for illegal immigrants brought to the country as children in return for funding for a wall. Trump tweeted that he was considering the veto, saying that recipients of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood

On March 16, I spent the day with my family waiting to hear whether I would be fired, after 21 years in the FBI and one day before I qualified for my long-planned, earned retirement. As day turned to night, I had a lot of time to reflect on how it would feel to be separated from the organization I loved — and led — and the mission that has been the central focus of my professional life. Despite all the preparation for the worst-case scenario, I still felt disoriented and sick to my stomach. Around 10 p.m., a friend called

David Hogg has become the face of the Parkland high school shooting, eclipsing the tragic memories of the 17 victims who were murdered by Nicolas Cruz. Hogg has been rabidly elevated as a media celebrity by the mainstream press, who found a willing mouthpiece to push their anti-Second Amendment agenda. In a profanity-laced, rambling interview with The Outline, Hogg slammed the NRA and pro-Second Amendment politicians, calling them “sick f**kers.” (Video warning: language) The Outline hosts treated Hogg as if her were a Constitutional scholar and gun expert rolled into one. His answers proved, once again, he is neither. “It just makes

President Trump signed the 1.2 trillion dollar Omnibus bill today with open frustration over both the process and the product of that bill. (Snip) What wasn’t said was how the Republican and Democrat leadership worked together to force POTUS Trump’s hand and create a voter backlash they hope will fracture Mr. Trump’s base of support among millions of Americans. “How could he sign this bill?” said one Trump supporter on Twitter. “WTF??? This was the opposite of MAGA,” said another. “Trump just gave 1.2 trillion to the swamp,” was another comment. If the above reactions represent the feelings of a majority

President Donald Trump yanked the government back to the brink of a shutdown on Friday morning with a tweet threatening “a VETO” of a $1.3 trillion spending bill that Congress had cleared just hours earlier. Trump’s declaration of a possible veto — citing the spending bill’s lack of full funding for his border wall and attention to undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers — comes as many lawmakers who would have to override his rejection or pass a stopgap funding measure are already on the way out of Washington for a two-week recess. The president’s top aides said Thursday he would
