The White House released a list of criminal illegal immigrants set free by the state of California in lieu of allowing ICE to detain them, in a Thursday morning statement. The Trump administration filed suit against the state of California Wednesday for classifying itself as a sanctuary state. “California is using every power it has — and some it doesn’t — to frustrate federal law enforcement. So you can be sure I’m going to use every power I have to stop them,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in his announcement of the lawsuit Thursday. “When a foreign national in the

The depths to which the dims will descend to get a vote is almost beyond belief. It used to be taxpayer money but now it is the blood of innocents.

Democratic leaders are backing off of their demand that "Dreamer" protections be a part of the 2018 budget negotiations. While House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other Democratic leaders had hinged their support for last month’s budget caps deal on a commitment from Republicans to consider legislation salvaging the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, they’ve signaled they won’t hold a similar line heading into next week’s expected vote on an omnibus spending bill. The apparent change in strategy has angered immigrant rights advocates in and out of Congress, who want the minority Democrats to use their rare

Last week on Dutch public broadcasting’s KRO-NCRV, Hillary Clinton shot down the notion of Ivanka Trump becoming the first female president of the United States. Partial transcript as follows: HOST EVA JINEK: Apparently Ivanka Trump wants to be the first female President of the United States. HILLARY CLINTON: That’s not going to happen. JINEK: No? CLINTON: No. JINEK: How come? CLINTON: No, we don’t want any more inexperienced Trumps in the White House. JINEK: I would think normally I would like to believe what you are saying but I also learned after these elections that things that we don’t except

A helicopter carrying first daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, had to be rerouted after one of its engines failed, law enforcement officials told CNN. The senior White House aides were flying from Washington, DC, to New York on Thursday afternoon in a two-engine helicopter when one engine failed, sources told the network. The chopper had to return to Ronald Reagan National Airport, where the couple hopped on a commercial flight instead. It is unclear how far into the less than two-hour trip they were when the engine failed. The aircraft was a Sikorsky owned by the Trump

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton defended her controversial comment trying to explain why the majority of white women voted for her opponent Donald Trump.“As much as I hate the possibility, and hate saying it, it’s not that crazy when you think about our ongoing struggle to reach gender balance – even within the same household,” she wrote in an over 800-word Facebook statement defending her comments.Clinton drew fire from Republicans after she told an audience in India that white women did not vote for her in 2016 because they faced “ongoing pressure” from their husbands, male bosses, and sons to

MANCHESTER— President Donald Trump will unveil a plan to combat opioid drug addiction that includes stiffer penalties for drug dealers — including the death penalty “where it’s appropriate under current law” — during a visit to New Hampshire on Monday afternoon. During a conference call with reporters Sunday night, senior White House officials said the President wants Congress to pass legislation reducing the threshold amount of drugs that must be present before mandatory minimum sentences are triggered for traffickers who knowingly distribute certain illicit opioids.Asked for examples of cases warranting the death penalty, a senior White House official declined comment,

Several black activist groups are holding a protest on Monday in defense of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite and racist revealed to have close ties to prominent Democratic politicians and activists. Black Lives Matter, the New Black Panther Party and the National Action Network are among the groups spearheading the protest, the organizers said in a press release. The groups are protesting a House resolution, introduced by Republican Indiana Rep. Todd Rokita, that formally condemns Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. The activists instead want lawmakers to pass a resolution condemning President Donald Trump. Rev. Al Sharpton has been NAN’s

As a teacher of public school (17 years), private school (7.5 years), and homeschool (11 years), I have a unique perspective on education. I´ve experienced K-12 education from just about every angle imaginable. I´ve taught at day schools and evening schools, and I´ve privately tutored many students. I´ve taught on sprawling 200-plus-acre campuses in buildings costing hundreds of millions of dollars, and I´ve taught in trailers that would barely keep out a strong gust of wind. Likewise, I´ve experienced students from almost every background imaginable. I´ve taught students who were homeless and those whose parents who could afford $25,000-plus tuition

Barbra Streisand said she´s never suffered sexual harassment but has felt abused by the media. During a tribute to Streisand´s decades of TV music specials and other programs, producer and long-time admirer Ryan Murphy queried her about her career, the #MeToo movement and her aversion to interviews. ´Never,´ she replied when asked if she had been sexually mistreated. ´I wasn´t like those pretty girls with those nice little noses. Maybe that´s why.´ She acknowledged the power of protests against gender inequality sweeping through Hollywood and society.

Hillary Clinton provided an explanation for some recent comments she made that she understood ´upset or offended´ some Americans – statements that drew criticism from fellow Democrats and the Trump White House alike. ´I understand how some of what I said upset people and can be misinterpreted. I meant no disrespect to any individual or group,´ she said in a Facebook post. ´And I want to look to the future as much as anybody.´ Clinton, on a trip to India, had talked about how her voters came from economically advantaged places in comparison to Trump voters, and also noted how white women

Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano explained Monday why he believes the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe could be viewed as "obstruction of justice." (Snip) Napolitano said he sees the firing as "reckless" and "vindictive" because McCabe is "more likely than not to be a witness" against Sessions´ boss, President Trump. "Firing him in that environment could very well be interpreted as an effort to diminish his effectiveness as a witness. What´s that called? Obstruction of justice," said Napolitano, adding he´s unsure if Special Counsel Robert Mueller will pursue such a case. Napolitano said on "America´s Newsroom"

The firing of Andrew McCabe, the discovery of his “private notes,” the ill-tempered response by other Obama loyalists and a yet to be disclosed Inspector General’s report on an investigation that began before Donald Trump had come to office are all pieces of a story that dwarfs the still absent evidence of anything Trump and company did to cooperate with Russians in changing votes in Michigan and Wisconsin. So many Democrats and Republicans have asserted the lack of evidence in the Russian collusion issue its become comical if not annoying to endure as the uninformed continue to argue otherwise. SAN FRANCISCO — A woman in Tempe, Ariz., died after being hit by a self-driving car operated by Uber, in what appears to be the first known death of a pedestrian struck by an autonomous vehicle on public roads. The Uber vehicle was in autonomous mode with a human safety driver at the wheel when it struck the woman, who was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk, the Tempe police said in a statement. The episode occurred overnight, although the authorities did not specify whether it was late Sunday or early Monday. The woman was not publicly identified. An

First there was the casual sexism: the reason white women didn’t back her when she ran for president, Hillary Clinton believes, is “a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.” Have you noticed that her sneering always seems to take the same form? She’s become the queen of the contemptuous listicle that tails off into a snarling “whatever.” Remember the formulation in the speech where she came up with the term “basket of deplorables?” “You could put half of Trump´s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Hillary said.

A prominent Republican says that Donald Trump would doom his presidency if he fires special counsel Robert Mueller. Sen Lindsey Graham, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union”, said that Mr Mueller is following the evidence where it takes him as he investigates Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. Getting rid of Mr Mueller, the senator said, would be a step too far. “If he tried to do that, that would be the beginning of the end of his presidency, because we´re a rule of law nation,” Mr Graham said. ”I think it´s very important he be allowed to do
