‘This gender crap needs to just stop,’ mom

This Friday was supposed to be a father-daughter dance for elementary school students in Staten Island, New York. But now that dance had been postponed because of concerns that it would violate the state’s new gender guidelines that aim to create a more inclusive space for transgender people, according to the New York Post. “Gender-based policies, rules, and practices can have the effect of marginalizing, stigmatizing, stereotyping and excluding students, whether or not they are transgender or gender nonconforming,” read the guidelines from the New York City Department of Education. “For these reasons, schools should review such policies, rules and

OK folks, next school board election throw the entire board out and vett the candidates who are the most conservative and elect them. But you won´t.

Young students are not trans or gender non-conforming. It´s a stupid notion put into their heads by adults. Stop it!

There already is a pronoun for those who do not identify male or female. It is called "it". He, she, it. Got it? Good.

Honoring the special bond between a loving parent and child is trumped because of immature, undeveloped, crybabies with no problem solving skills feel left out. I´m not talking about the kids. For the pc/sjw crowd, the remaining vestiges of ´fathers´ and fatherhood must be stomped out at any cost.

Dems, massively overplaying this hand.

99.9% of people know without even thinking about it whether they are a male or female, and have since they were very young. I have no particular animosity towards those who are confused, but I also do not think that the whole rest of the world needs to adjust everything to please a tiny, tiny minority of oddball people with a problem. And we don´t particularly need to harm them with laws, but we also don´t need to get crazy ruining life for everyone else because there MIGHT BE some sort of hurt feelings, or they may feel "out of the mainstream". Those feelings happen because they ARE out of the mainstream.

And "gender" is never assigned...it is recognised by the physical appearance of the baby´s body.

Is there no one at the school with the common sense (I know, it isn´t that common anymore) to simply call the dance a "Parent-Child Dance?"

Then, I guess someone would complain that leaves out all the orphans, we wouldn´t want to hurt their feelings, now would we??

Let me go off the reservation. I think the school is wise not to hold a father-daughter dance. Not all of the elementary school girls have fathers who could escort them to the dance -- maybe the girl´s mom and dad have divorced and dad is no longer around (or available thanks to the court-ordered custody/visitation agreement), maybe dad is in jail, maybe dad died. Point is, some girls will be hurt mightily because they do not have a father to take them to the dance. A school should not to be a partner to this pain. There can still be father-daughter dances, at church or the Elks Club or the Knights of Columbus or even at a town rec event. Let´s not confuse intrusions (like transgendered in your girl´s locker room) with forbearance. Not holding this dance at a public school is a matter or sensitivity, of what used to be called good manners. I cannot imagine a single LDotter being pleased with the thought of even one ten or twelve year old girl sitting home crying. Have we become so polarized that we yell out "Dilly, Dilly!" without even thinking. This, IMO, was not only not the end of the earth, it was maybe even a good, kind, and appropriate move by the school.

So these gender confused little darlings make up less that 1/10 of 1% of the population and we roll over traditions so as not to hurt their little feelings and confuse them even more? I say they parents should organize their own Father Daughter Gala at a local country club or high end facility and ask for businesses to sponsor the event. It would be soooo big! In your face fools!

What if schools just taught the basics so kids could get a real education without all of the extras?

Fox News, by Samuel Chamberlain    Original Article

Early in her address to graduating Yale students at Sunday´s Class Day, Hillary Clinton reached behind the lectern, pulled out a traditional Russian ushanka hat, and held it aloft. "I mean, if you can´t beat ´em, join ´em." she said as the audience laughed and applauded. The Russian hat gag, a nod to the student tradition of wearing extravagant headgear during Class Day, set the tone for a wide-ranging speech in which Clinton alternately cracked jokes about her loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election and warned Yale´s Class of 2018 that "we are living through a full-fledged

A mountain biker has died and a second person was seriously injured after they were attacked by a cougar on a remote trail in Washington state. Police said the animal pounced, mauling the first cyclist and inflicting deep scratches before fleeing, only to return and fatally wound his friend. “He jumped the first victim and attacked him,” said Sergeant Ryan Abbott, of the King County Sheriff´s Office. “The second victim

California´s ´jungle primary´ isn´t

As California hurtles toward its state primary June 5, it is obvious there´s a problem. Its open primary system — which sends the top two vote-getters to the general election, regardless of party affiliation — is not working as intended and risks throwing the midterm election into acrimony and confusion. This system is called a "jungle primary" for a reason: It is brutal and unpredictable. In three high-profile House races, there are so many candidates from the two major parties eating into one another´s support that the election results may end up owing more to chance than any discernible will

Starbucks´ day of racial-bias training for its baristas can´t come soon enough. With less than two weeks to go before the coffee chain closes stores nationwide to educate its nearly 175,000 workers on how not to discriminate against others, Starbucks (SBUX) this week found itself apologizing for doing just that. (Tweet) The apology on social media came after a customer at a Starbucks in La Cañada Flintridge, California, found the word "Beaner" -- a derogatory term for Mexicans -- printed on his coffee drink instead of "Pedro," his name. A friend of Pedro's who translated for him told CBS Los Angeles that his "friend was also sad"

WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump on Thursday defended his use of the word "animals" to describe some immigrants who enter the country illegally, saying he would continue to use the term to refer to violent gang members in spite of a sharp rebuke from Democratic leaders. Answering a reporter´s question during a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, Trump said his comment a day earlier had clearly been directed at members of the MS-13 gang. The Big Idea: Tuesday was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for Democratic moderates. The success of very liberal candidates in primaries across four states is causing a new bout of heartburn among party strategists in Washington, who worry about unelectable activists thwarting their drive for the House majority. But it also reflects a broader leftward lurch among Democrats across the country since President Trump took office. -- In Nebraska, a liberal social worker and political neophyte who built her campaign around “Medicare for All” scored a shocking upset in a Democratic primary to take on Rep. Donald Trump has stayed uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter without posting a single tweet about the royal wedding. The President, who is usually especially active on the social media network early in the day, did not tweet anything all morning about the nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which ended at 9.00am ET. Rumors swirled about whether Trump would be invited to the wedding at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, but he was eventually left off the guest list, along with other political leaders. Prominent figures who made the cut included Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney and the Beckhams. Other A-listers including Idris

What does it mean to be sixth in the line of royal succession to an office that depends solely and exclusively on who your father is? It means that five family members have to die before you get the real goodies. Granted, those goodies are amazing. Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
