What if the Iran Deal Was a Mistake?
Slate, by Joshua Keating

Original Article

Posted By:garnet, 2/6/2018 8:04:46 AM

On May 15, 2015, just a few months before the U.S. and other world powers signed a nuclear deal with Iran, President Barack Obama convened what was to be a high-profile meeting of Middle East leaders at Camp David. King Salman of Saudi Arabia, however, was a no-show. King Hamad of Bahrain elected to go to a horse show in the U.K. instead. The elderly rulers of Oman and the UAE also stayed home, citing health concerns. This was widely seen as a snub by leaders deeply angered by the soon-to-be-signed nuclear deal and an overall sense that the Obama administration was shifting politically toward Tehran.

#6 it was in the news back then.
There were many articles written about it.
Might not have been on TV as it was not entertaining information though.

"What if"?? Are they kidding or are they actually this clueless?

It was obvious as hell from the beginning that this gave the Iranians all that they wanted and screwed us over entirely.

Valerie Jarrett was raised in Iran by her America-hating Communist parents, and is clearly a serious Iran-lover and America hater, pulling The Zero´s strings, and The Zero was a jihadi supporter, so they made a deal that both could love.

Bad deal, should be scrapped.

With the Iranians holding a key position in the Doorknob Hussein´s administration, this was a done deal. Abedin and Val prostituted themselves to influence Doorknob, Hillary, Kerry, and the rest of Keystone cops in Washington. Doorknob was too Dumb to be dealing with a daily complicated issues at the WH. Over half of voting American, in drunken stupor, voted for this nobody who may have left a legacy of permanent social and economic damage to this country.

Skip to the last paragraph, then don´t bother to read the rest. The writer is an idiot:

"The current administration is probably a lost cause, but if a future president wants to take productive lessons from the Obama era, it’s that we should give up on the idea that we can pivot away from the Middle East or that one deal—even a deal to prevent a aggressive power from acquiring a nuclear weapon—should take precedence over all other issues."

Great excerpt, #13. If you are a terrorist nation with nuclear weapons that you are itching to use there ARE no other issues. It´s checkmate.

War on Work

When the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that states could experiment with work requirements as a prerequisite for Medicaid eligibility, the Democrats denounced the policy as racist and cruel. They didn’t explain how such requirements could possibly be racist in states whose Medicaid populations are nearly 100 percent white. Nor did they say what is cruel about asking Medicaid enrollees to do something that will, according to numerous studies, improve their well-being. The science says that work will be good for their physical, psychological, and fiscal health. So, why have the Democrats declared war on work?

Krugman on Drugs
American Spectator, by David Catron    Original Article

When President Trump introduced the “American Patients First” blueprint for reducing drug prices, it was inevitable that the Democrats and their media enablers would immediately denounce the plan, the team that put it together, and the President himself. (Snip) Thus, it wasn’t shocking that Paul Krugman’s contribution to the chorus of complaints also included that shopworn argument. It was something of a surprise, however, to see that Krugman so far forgot himself that he let the cat out of the bag concerning why allowing Medicare to “negotiate” drug prices is such a bad idea.

Conrad Black’s erudite biography of Donald J. Trump is different from the usual in mediis rebus accounts of first-year presidents. He avoids the Bob Woodward fly-on-the-wall unattributed anecdote, and “they say” gossip mongering. Nor is the book a rush-to-publish product from former insiders of the Trump campaign or administration. Instead, Black, a prolific and insightful historian, adopts the annalistic method in carefully tracing Trump’s earliest years in business through his various commercial misadventures, financial recoveries, and sometimes wild antics. Black’s aim is to illustrate how much of what Trump has done since announcing his presidential candidacy in summer 2015 is

President Trump, elected primarily on domestic issues, has surprised critics and detractors alike by putting a big imprint on foreign affairs in his first 16 months in office. Recent international developments — the president’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal and the moving of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem — are only the latest significant moves. By contrast, Trump’s major achievements at home have been largely limited to the passage of a large tax cut in December and the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch as a Supreme Court justice more than a year ago. But in the international arena

Trump’s Excellent Plan
to Reduce Drug Prices
American Spectator, by David Catron    Original Article

Last Friday, President Trump caused consternation among Democrats and their media allies by introducing an eminently sensible blueprint for reducing drug prices. The 50-point “American Patients First” plan addresses four broad challenges: High list prices for drugs, government programs overpaying for drugs, rising out-of-pocket costs for consumers, and foreign governments free-riding off American innovation. The blueprint relies on free market competition and private-sector negotiation rather than regulatory coercion and price controls. And, assuming his plan works as designed, President Trump will have succeeded where his

“All options are on the table,” one of his top strategists said in an interview this week when asked what Blankenship might do to play spoiler. One option that’s not on the table is running as an independent himself, thanks to West Virginia’s “sore loser” law. Among those slamming President Trump for withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal are several members of Congress, mostly Democrats, who opposed it then and say they still do now. People like New York’s Sen. Chuck Schumer, who came out against the deal but then sat quietly rather than publicly push to defeat it. After Trump killed it, he said: “The right thing to do would have been to try and come up with our allies with an agreement on those issues and let the nuclear part of this continue as is because it’s not being violated in any way.” Huh? Three march organizers were spiritual advisors to President Barack Obama while one counseled President Bill Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal and later endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016. After about thirteen years of being a loyal customer of Netflix, the time has come for me to say goodbye. (Snip) Given that I’m a conservative, one might be inclined to believe my choice to leave Netflix is predicated upon the company’s most recent decision to partner with Barack and Michelle Obama’s new company, called “Higher Ground Productions,” to produce loads of new content. Former Secretary of State John Kerry warned President Donald Trump Sunday that Democrats are not afraid to go against his “America First” policies. “We won’t win, any of us, ultimately, by retreating within our borders, by focusing on our own nations only, or by going it alone,” Kerry told those gathered at New York University’s Abu Dhabi’s commencement ceremony Sunday — a direct reference to the president’s “America First” trade and immigration policies. Kerry served as the secretary of state for former President Barack Obama. He also, notably, was one of the key negotiators for the administration when it was
