"Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd said on Friday that President Trump believes white Europeans are better than brown immigrants. The comment follows the president´s reported remarks referring to Haiti and African countries as "sh**hole countries." "Folks, you can debate all you want about the president’s recent language, but you cannot debate what it seemingly reveals about his core beliefs — that white Europeans are good and brown immigrants are bad," Todd said on "MTP Daily" on NBC. The president has faced fierce backlash in the media and from many members of both political parties for the remarks, which were
Comments: That type of language from a member of the media is reckless, outrageous and beyond biased! Can you imagine the former MTP host Tim Russert saying such a thing?? Of course not! And he was certainly no conservative. The media has gone so far down the toilet that I don´t know how they can ever redeem themselves. It is infuriating cause the media was meant to protect American citizens. They are now just extremely biased, corrupt, political hacks who are ripping our country apart. They are clearly abusing the special privileges they were given under our Constitution.
Chuck was sobbing like a little girl the night Hillary lost to Trump and still can’t get over it. He’s not a journalist any more. He’s an extreme left wing hack and media hit man. No credibility. No viewers. No hope for anything good to come from the future.
Todd has no idea what Trump thinks. He hasn´t talked to Trump. As for whites, I can surmise that Trump does not like Chuck Todd, who is white, CNN, all white, or MSNBC, also white as paste, not does Trump like European socialists, all white.
Only in Chuck Todd´s desired world, as it fits their story line.
Trump is calling for merit based immigration, which does not limit it to white, European countries.
I´ve said over and over, the GOP should be calling for legal immigration of 30-35 million over 15-20 years, but have it open to Russians, Chinese, India, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Brazil, Australia, Ireland, etc.. Cross-spectrum of people, nationalities, which includes people of color.
FTA: but you cannot debate what it seemingly reveals about his core beliefs. So Chuck is seemingly the sole arbitrator of whatever PJT seemingly says. No debate needed or allowed, Chuck has spoken, or seemingly so.
If the great democrat propaganda machine has to keep jamming down our throats how wonderful these people are, it stands to reason they are not. If they were ok, we wouldn´t have to be convinced of it. We would already know.
Trump, and all elected officials, have a fiduciary responsibility to promote the best interests of the Citizens who elected them. To do otherwise is to violate their trust and deserve impeachment. The Left is demanding that Trump commit impeachable offenses.
More than 130 congressional members have viewed the classified four-page memo detailing what senior government officials describe as “disturbing and explosive” surveillance abuse by employees of the FBI and Department of Justice under the Obama administration against President Trump and members of his campaign. But almost all of them were Republicans. Since the document was released Thursday to House members “only Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have seen it,” a congressional source with knowledge of the memo said. (Snip) Congressional officials expect the classified memo to be made available to the public before the end of the month. In order to
Jeff Zucker, the former head of NBCUniversal and current leader of Time Warner’s CNN, has emerged as a surprise candidate to lead Walt Disney’s ESPN. Rumors began circulating this week in media circles that the TV executive who first rose to greater renown by boosting the fortunes of NBC’s “Today” show could be in consideration to replace John Skipper at Disney’s massive sports-media juggernaut. Skipper left ESPN late last year, citing a substance-addiction problem. An ESPN spokesman declined to comment, and spokespersons for CNN, Time Warner and its Turner cable-TV unit did not respond to queries seeking comment. Disney CEO Robert Iger
NEW YORK — Motorists would have to shell out $11.52 to drive into the busiest parts of Manhattan under a new proposal floated by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to ease traffic congestion and raise vital funds for mass transit. Trucks would pay even more — $25.34 — while taxi cabs, Uber rides and for-hire vehicles would be charged between $2 and $5 per ride. The pricing zone would cover Manhattan south of 60th Street. The idea, called “congestion pricing,” involves using electronic tolling to charge vehicles for entering certain parts of town during especially busy times. The proposal is expected to face stiff
Rene Boucher, Sen. Rand Paul’s neighbor, was charged with assaulting a member of Congress for tackling Paul to the ground after witnessing him stack brush onto a pile in November. The charge is a felony under federal law, and Boucher, 58, faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana announced Friday. “Assaulting a member of Congress is an offense we take very seriously,” Josh Minkler, the U.S. attorney, said. Boucher allegedly tackled Paul, R-Ky., while he was mowing his lawn, wearing headphones. Boucher, a retired anesthesiologist, allegedly saw Paul
An executive vice president from the news publication The Hill contacted the office of former President Bill Clinton with an offer for Clinton to be financially compensated as part of a new video series for the outlet, according to a new report. Typically, mainstream media outlets are prohibited from paying sources for interviews due to ethical concerns. Clinton’s office declined the offer from John Solomon, the executive vice president of digital video at The Hill, the Washington Post reported Friday. Solomon told Clinton’s office that he was interested in having the video series explore a variety of topics in contemporary
A National Public Radio host on Friday referred to the largest abortion opposition protest taking place as "the so-called March for Life." "America´s biggest anti-abortion rally, the so-called March for Life, will take place today in Washington, D.C., and Donald Trump is set to become the first sitting president to address the annual event," said Rachel Martin, the host of "Morning Edition" on the nonprofit radio network. The clip was first flagged by the Washington Free Beacon. Martin then interviewed Kristin Hawkins, the president of Students for Life of America, an anti-abortion organization with more than 1,100 members nationwide. Martin
A battle erupted Friday over a push by Republican lawmakers to declassify a report they say will reveal high-level government abuse around the federal investigation into possible ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia. Even as Congress hurled toward a shutdown, Republicans in the House were buzzing over the contents of a classified memo on alleged surveillance abuses that was produced by House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.). (Snip) Democrats dismissed the findings as a desperate partisan attempt to smear the FBI and muddy the waters around what they view as a legitimate investigation into Trump’s alleged ties to
A review of a classified document outlining what is described as extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse was made available to all House members Thursday and the revelations could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, several sources with knowledge of the document stated. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates. The House Intelligence Committee passed the motion along party lines Thursday to make the classified report alleging extensive
After leaving office, President Ronald Reagan created the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award to recognize individuals who have fought to spread liberty worldwide. Nancy Reagan continued the tradition after her husband’s death, and in 2008 she bestowed the honor on human rights icon Natan Sharansky, who credited Reagan’s strong defense of freedom for his own survival in Soviet gulags. Reagan recognized that as leader of the free world, his words carried enormous weight, and he used it to inspire the unprecedented spread of democracy around the world. President Donald Trump does not seem to understand that his rhetoric and actions reverberate in
Pope Francis has conferred the title of “Commander of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great” on Lilianne Ploumen, a Dutch politician and vocal agitator for abortion rights. Last year, Ploumen founded a pro-abortion organization called She Decides, which offers funding and support for international NGOs that provide, facilitate or campaign for abortion. In an email to the Catholic Herald, Ms. Ploumen said that she was “very honoured” by the pontifical medal, which was sent via the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs last month. In an interview with Dutch radio, Ploumen said she views the honor as a
Obama’s current office, which is run by former de facto President Valerie Jarrett, is just a mile or so from the White House. It is at that location one sees a daily procession of donors, political operatives, party affiliates (BOTH Democrat and Republican) media friends (of which there are many) and more shadowy figures representing a myriad of foreign interests. And each day this office and its two primary inhabitants – Obama and Jarrett, are asked the same question: WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT TRUMP? Obama being Obama, with his solar-system-sized ego intact, has been promising to do
The House Intel panel’s passage of New York Republican Rep. Peter King’s motion to release the FISA abuse memo to fellow House members has rocked Washington, D.C. (Photo) Lawmakers from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) have called for the classified memo’s immediate release. According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe once and for all.Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned the release of the FISA report will destroy the image of his former boss Barack Obama.“Take it to
California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state. A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D -Sacramento and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle class families.
