Trump cancels voter fraud commission,
says cost of legal battles was too much

President Trump dissolved his controversial voter integrity commission Wednesday, giving up on one of key initiatives from the 2016 election. The White House said Mr. Trump didn’t want to fight an endless stream of costly legal battles against voter-rights groups, so he issued an executive order canceling the panel altogether. “Despite substantial evidence of voter fraud, many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry,” the White House said in a statement. “Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today I signed an

doesn´t have to be a FEDERAL problem..
i have been saying since the 2000 election..
have AMERICANS stationed at the polling places taking photos and videos of all entering..
that will stop 99% of all fraud..
the beauty of this is.. you don´t even have to have film in the camera or one that works!!
criminals and/or illegals just don´t want to take a chance..
ps have some armed AMERICANS protecting the cameramen..

Since it´s likely not possible to use legal means to determine how much vote fraud there was, I gather all concerned will need to resort to OTHER means.

At least that´s how I´m reading Donald´s message.

Voter-rights groups, huh? I wasn´t aware that criminal aliens, dead people, felons and all the others that make up the demoncrat voter base had a right to vote.

That´s what fighting a swamp is like, though. Obstructions and filth everywhere. Congress gets involved in everything else. Why can´t they pass legislation that a state must clean its voter rolls, or not be allowed to participate in national elections?

I have to agree with him. With all the lawsuits, it was a huge waste of money. There´s got to be a better way of proving how badly dem voter fraud is. If anyone can find a way to do it, DJT can.

Jeese Louise - people - read the article. It states that the investigation now will be done without Democrat input through Homeland Security.

“It will get done faster, but the Democrats no longer have a seat at the table,” Mr. Kobach said. “If they think this is a victory for the left, they are wrong.”

I´d accept adding on to the national debt as much as Obama put there, in his eight years, if only we had an honest result across the country.

Hell I´d march into a full blown all-out WAR in my skivvies, and nothing else, if I could guarantee my children and grandchildren would be dealing with honest voting.

Kobach is a truly good man, working for integrity of the vote. I know him and have worked for him and he is one of the good guys, for sure.
They are probably right that DHS can do it more easily, can´t be stopped by stupid Dem lawsuits, which seek to protect their illegal alien voters.

Kobach illuminates the real reason in the article. Homeland Security ( owned and operated by the executive branch)can do this instead of feeling up grandmothers at the airport. I´m excited about this plan. Can´t wait to see the leftists screaming in the wind about this one.

So, that´s his first promise not to keep? If that´s his state of mind there are 50 reasons to capitulate on other pressing issues, namely from the States´ Attorneys General.
He has the entire DOJ to battle these b@stards yet refuses to continue. Sad.

The ridesharing company Uber says it is investigating a case in which young Republicans were abandoned at a gas station and told, “Welcome to the resistance.” Chris Godbey, executive director of the Young Republicans National Federation, and his peers said they were abruptly told to exit an Uber driver’s car over the weekend after an event near Raleigh, North Carolina. The reason: an anti-Trump “resistance” driver wanted to deliver a message. “About halfway through the trip our driver said he needed to stop and get gas,” said Mary Russell, a federation volunteer, the Daily Caller reported Monday. “Then he quickly

Congratulations to President Trump on his decision to nominate D.C. Circuit judge Brett M. Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. I very much look forward to Justice Kavanaugh. Judge Kavanaugh, 53 years old, has compiled an outstanding record during his twelve years on the federal court of appeals in D.C. On what is commonly regarded as the second-most-important court in the country, he has confronted a vast array of consequential constitutional and statutory issues and has written strong, influential opinions. His positions in numerous dissents were later adopted by Supreme Court majorities. Judge Kavanaugh has been selected to fill the seat

Presumably, as you read this, the White House is setting up its war room for the Supreme Court confirmation battle to come. The interns are stocking the mini fridges and hanging the musk-masking air fresheners that are de rigueur for any top-flight political bunker. But before the administration goes to the mattresses, it first must pick a nominee. And that is why I hope White House counsel Don McGahn is hanging a sign for all to see: “It’s the list, stupid.” Over the next week, the White House will come under incredible pressure from the news media, the Democrats and

Confidence that African Americans, Asians and Hispanics have in their personal finances improving over the next four years should be enough to help GOP leaders retain control of Congress in the midterm elections and reelect President Trump, according to a new survey. While generally not fans of the president, the three key groups have a good feeling about their future and that should temper their concerns at the polls, said the survey from Zogby Analytics. “Even though President Trump receives little support from these groups, things might be going just good enough economically that he can scrap enough support from

What is it about Texas, anyhow? That is the question that catches our attention in the Supreme Court’s decision vindicating the Lone Star State on redistricting. The Nine overruled a lower court that had found that the legislature that promulgated new electoral maps was tainted by an “intent” to discriminate against Latinos. Yet for such a finding, the Justices decided (by a vote of five to four), the lower courts failed to meet the burden of proof. That’s a serious failure. The thing that gets us, though, is the cause of the redistricting in the first place. The Nine noted

The New York Times seemed puzzled by the Republican reaction to the Resistance. Instead of serving as a wedge between President Trump and the party, the Resistance serves as an adhesive. Liberals also may be surprised to learn the Resistance is a turn off for their supporters as well. In its story on the Resistance bonding Republicans with President Trump, the Times used a stereotype to show its befuddlement. "Gina Anders knows the feeling well by now. President Trump says or does something that triggers a spasm of outrage. She doesn’t necessarily agree with how he handled the situation. She
