Ah yes, but you can be damned sure that Rahm Emanuel and his allies are making sure no Chicago woman gets caressed on her arm or back by some devilish man, and that illegal immigrants are safe safe safe! Keeping our eyes on what´s important in the world!
At the conclusion of U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley´s interview with CNN´s Jake Tapper yesterday, Tapper wished Haley a "merry Christmas and happy new year." Haley responded by wishing Tapper "a merry Christmas." But in the Trump era, nothing is ever as it appears to be. Tapper is Jewish (first I´ve heard of that), and, according to lefties on the internet, she should have wished him a "happy Hanukkah."Crooks and Liars: At the end of an interview with Haley about President Donald Trump´s decision to accept Jerusalem as the Israel´s capital, Tapper concluded by acknowledging Haley´s Christian faith. "Madam Ambassador," Tapper
Former IRS senior executive Lois G. Lerner told a federal court last week that there’s “no legitimate” reason why the public should see her testimony about her role in tea party targeting, pleading with a judge to keep her deposition permanently sealed. Ms. Lerner and her former chief lieutenant, Holly Paz, have said they faced death threats in the past, and say they fear any more attention to their behavior would spur a new round of harassment. They said there’s “exceedingly low” public interest in having their depositions released, and they said tea party groups are pushing for disclosure out
The family of the alleged ISIS-inspired Port Authority bomber said they were “heartbroken” by the attack on Monday and blasted law enforcement agencies for what they claimed were heavy-handed tactics by investigators. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations. “But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the

Fox News is back in action with the single most ridiculous, psy-op engineered, agenda polls in the last several years…. and coming from a CTH community that has reviewed hundreds of media polls in the past 5 years, that’s quite a statement. Consider:(Photos) (Emerson Poll Link) -vs-(Fox News Poll Link)Both of these cannot be correct. The margin of error claimed is +/- 2.5%. There is a NINETEEN point difference between both Alabama Polls. However, only ONE is a media driven agenda poll. Can you guess which one? Yes, once again, the Rupert Murdoch clan are up to their media-polling tricks
President Trump has understandable reasons for distrusting the U.S. intelligence community, according to a former CIA official who led the agency under former President Barack Obama. Mike Morell, who served as acting director of the CIA from 2012-2013, took some of the blame for Trump’s feud with the CIA. Morell lamented that he failed to consider how Trump would consider his endorsement for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, especially when paired with other officials’ criticisms and a series of unflattering leaks. “And [Trump] could rightfully have said, ‘Huh, what’s going on with these intelligence guys?’ Right?” Morell told Politico’s Susan
A small business in Oberlin, Ohio, popular with denizens of Oberlin College is facing accusations of racism and protests after three black students were arrested November 2016 for assaulting a white shopkeeper and stealing bottles of wine. After being labeled as a “racist establishment,” by a senior dean at the college, the family owned business, Gibson’s Bakery, says it has no choice but to sue the college and Meredith Raimondo, vice president and dean of students, for slander, the Associated Press reported. The dispute happened after the 18-and-19-year-old students tried purchasing alcohol with a fake id. After the shopkeeper denied
MONTGOMERY, Alabama — Frank Luntz, a GOP establishment messaging consultant, was visibly flabbergasted as every single one of his focus group participants in a Birmingham area Vice News-produced panel backed Judge Roy Moore for U.S. Senate. Titled “Why These Alabama Voters Are Sticking By Roy Moore,” Luntz’s Vice News focus group aired on Vice News Tonight on Dec. 8 on HBO. “Are you all Christians here?” Luntz opens the seven-and-a-half-minute long segment. “Yes,” all of the focus group participants, who joined Luntz in a Birmingham area restaurant, replied. “Is Roy Moore a good Christian?” he followed up. “Yes,” one woman replied. “Absolutely,” another said. “Absolutely?”
California´s governor has said that deadly wildfires in the winter will be ´the new normal´, as fire crews rushed to contain the fires, with dry desert winds expected to intensify over the weekend. Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. At a news conference, the Democrat said drought and climate change mean California faces a ´new reality´ where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars. He added that gusty winds and
An award-winning U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department has issued a scathing resignation letter, accusing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Donald Trump administration of undercutting the State Department and damaging America’s influence in the world. Elizabeth Shackelford, who most recently served as a political officer based in Nairobi for the U.S. mission to Somalia, wrote to Tillerson that she reluctantly had decided to quit because the administration had abandoned human rights as a priority and shown disdain for the State Department’s diplomatic work,
There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. Mr. Moore leads in most
The NFL protests have been lucrative for social justice charities — they´ll receive a whopping $89 million in "settlement" money, redirected from veterans and breast cancer charity funds — but they´re also becoming a boon for cash-strapped football fans. It turns out, if you can still stomach a professional football game, you can now get tickets for about the same price as a couple of Starbucks lattes. According to Vivid Seats, an NFL ticket reselling site, seat prices at most NFL stadiums have bottomed out, leaving fans able to snag a lower level seat for a Buffalo Bills game for
Sen. Richard Shelby says he wants a Republican elected to the Senate on Tuesday to represent Alabama, but that he didn’t vote for GOP candidate Roy Moore in the special election. The Alabama Republican said he’s already cast his ballot, and that he chose a write-in candidate. “I’d rather see the Republican win, but I’d rather see a Republican write-in. I couldn’t vote for Roy Moore. I didn’t vote for Roy Moore,” Shelby told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.” Moore has been accused of pursuing sexual relationships with teenagers when he was in his 30s. In some
In 1990, when liberal journalists still had some sense of obligation to the truth, Michael Kelly wrote the following for GQ: As [Carla] Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound [Sen. Ted] Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on [Sen. Chris] Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. (snip) Here is what McCaskill had to say about Kennedy´s behavior upon his death
