Thursday on “CBS This Morning,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) called on President Donald Trump to resign over the “Access Hollywood” that aired during the 2016 presidential campaign. Sanders said, “Let me take it a little step further. We have a president of the United States who acknowledged on a tape widely seen all over the country that he’s assaulted women, so I would hope maybe the president of the United States might pay attention of what’s going on and also think about resigning. But if your point is it is not just Al Franken you are absolutely right.”
Both PDT and now Judge Moore went in front of the voters with truth fully disclosed. The Democrat vermin hid the truth while seeking people´s votes under false pretenses. Does Bernie have even the slightest modicum intelligence or judgement?
Wishful thinking on the part of old Bernie as far as President Trump resigning. The so-called “Access Hollywood” audio recording apparently happened 15 years ago when Trump was a Democrat in the entertainment industry, and were fully considered by the voters who then elected Trump President of the USA.
What Trump said on the Access Hollywood tape, was that "women LET HIM gr..........". At no time did he say that he assaulted women non-consensually. Also, lost in all the current wave of sexual harassment and assault charges is the truth that there are women who willingly use sex to attract and/or to get what they want from men, and such women do so at the office, in politics, in Hollywood, in dating situations and everywhere else where men and women are together.
#9, your quote is inaccurate. Trump was talking about celebrity status, and how it gives a pass for (outrageous) conduct. The essence of the out of context comment is that women were essentially in awe of celebrities, and would let a guy get away with outrageous conduct. Shondra Levy was unavailable for comment. Mary Jo Kopechne was also unavailable for comment. This false narrative will go on for a few months, and then peter out.(no pun intended.) Bernie Sanders is a sick, corrupt old man. He will fall by the wayside.
Bernie Sanders should think how he is going to explain that college fraud his wife committed, and he went along with. Bernie might also visit Denmark and learn why the USA, with 330 million people, might not be able to govern itself like a country of 6 million.
Put a sock in it, Bern. But let’s talk about that fancy lakefront home you ended up with. Did the Clinton Foundation buy that for you as a thank you gift? Or was it your birthday before you dropped out and left the race to her?
Timber Queen called it first. And I´ve been waiting for it ever since. All these so-called Democrat sacrifices to sexual harassment charges have been clearing the decks to build the case to destroy Trump.
The Liberals and Democrats have not been targeted for principled reasons. They are all part of the strategy and tactics to destroy this president. To repeat from a post yesterday: If the governor of Minnesota was a republican, would Al Franken have been permitted to resign? The question answers itself.
We need every single seat in the Senate to stop this. There is only one criteria for any senate election: Vote for the ones that won´t impeach.
Disney on Thursday announced a deal to acquire many parts of Twenty-First Century Fox for $52.4 billion in stock. Twice in one morning, a cow had to be corralled after escaping from a live nativity scene in Philadelphia´s Old City neighborhood. By the end of the morning Stormy the cow was out a job. Stormy darted from the live nativity at Old First Reformed United Church of Christ at 4th and Race Streets around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The 7-year-old Hereford cow, a Philadelphia native, made its way into a nearby parking structure, where it was corralled in the garage attached to the Wyndham Hotel. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders trolled April Ryan with a homemade pecan pie on Wednesday evening and it was glorious. (Photos) The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor previously reported, April Ryan, White House reporter for American Urban Radio networks and CNN analyst, demanded President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders provide proof she baked a pie she tweeted a photo of on Thanksgiving Day. April Ryan demanded, “Show it to us on the table with folks eating it and a pic of you cooking it.” So that’s exactly what fearless warrior Sarah Sanders did Wednesday evening! Sarah Sanders
This is a case where you absolutely have to give the devil his due. A Native American advocacy group has been circulating fake stories on social media depicting major sports media outlets announcing that the Washington Redskins were changing their name to the "Washington Redhawks." Great care was taken in designing a webpage that exactly duplicates pages from the Washington Post, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and others. (Tweet) USA Today: A page designed to look like an exact replica of the Washington Post declared “Native Leaders Celebrate a Victory as Washington Football Changes Mascot to the Redhawks,” but a closer look at the
The loss of one of Alabama´s Senate seats to a Democrat adds another snag to the long-sought goal to overhaul Obamacare for Republicans, who already were falling short of the support they needed.Even if a win had gone to Roy Moore, the failed Republican candidate, rather than to Doug Jones, some of the holdouts who doomed the prior efforts in the Senate said they wanted to move on to more bipartisan initiatives. “I think we need to just take a break and get through tax reform and try to find some issues or initiatives that we can come together on,”
In future battles, U.S. soldiers will have a new sidearm for personal protection. The Army’s new pistol may see more action than the last thanks to a design that has great potential for offensive purposes like close quarter combat. The Army has begun fielding the first Sig Sauer XM17 Modular Handgun System (MHS) sidearms. The Sig Sauer 9mm XM17, and the more compact version XM18, are replacing the M9 as the Army’s service pistol. This is the first change in about three decades since Beretta’s M9 was first introduced as the Army’s sidearm in the Cold War era back in
An all-female CNN segment on Wednesday laughed, gloated, and even screamed in mockery at the news that a female African-American member of the Trump administration lost her job. CNN political commentator Angela Rye gloated and screamed at the news that Omarosa Manigault-Newman, director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, was let go from her position. CNN host Brooke Baldwin, CNN political analyst April Ryan, and regular CNN guest Symone Sanders all joined in what was a public display of complete classlessness as the group all laughed. “Brooke, I´m going to do what you can´t do, and
On Tuesday, Democrat Doug Jones pulled off a stunning victory over Republican Roy Moore in Alabama. The race went down to the wire, but the Democrat prevailed. Here are five things to know about why Jones won, why Moore lost, and what it means for the future of the U.S. Senate and both parties. 1. Character matters. According to NBC News exit polls, 49 percent of Alabama voters thought the sexual assault accusations against Roy Moore were "definitely" or "probably" true. Republicans and Democrats split on partisan lines — a whopping 82 percent of Republicans said the allegations were "probably" or "definitely" false,
DEVELOPING…Democrat Doug Jones has defeated Roy Moore in Alabama’s Senate election, according to a projection from the Fox News Decision Desk.ORIGINAL STORY…The hard-fought Alabama Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones remains too close to call, though a Fox News voter analysis shows the Democratic nominee enjoying a lead over his GOP rival. Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to
On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump’s tweet about Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) constitutes sexual harassment and that people who work around the president and don’t try to get him to delete the tweet don’t care about the country or women. Brzezinski said, “I just want to say something, beyond the fact that it is reprehensible that the president of the United States would say something so derogatory and disgusting about a woman, we’re not surprised, Mr. President. You do it all the time. You treat women terribly, and you treat the women around
Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. Franken begrudgingly offered his resignation after 35 Democratic senators called on him to do so, three weeks after he was first accused
President Trump attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) in a sexually suggestive tweet Tuesday morning that implied Gillibrand would do just about anything for money, prompting a swift and immediate backlash. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
Margaret Thatcher was born one. So were predecessor Prime Ministers Benjamin Disraeli and William E. Gladstone. Diana, the princess of Wales, too. Also William Pitt, who presided over the British victory in the French and Indian War and lent his name to Pittsburgh. And, according to some university authorities four decades ago, me as well. We were all born commoners. But — despite what newspapers, websites and television stations on both sides of the Atlantic have reported with wonder and wild-eyed delight — Meghan Markle, the actor who is to marry Prince Harry, is not a commoner. She’s an American, and
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) faced criticism for saying that President Donald Trump “slut-shamed” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) with a non-sexual insult, Tuesday. After President Donald Trump made a post on Twitter claiming that Sen. Gillibrand “would do anything” for campaign contributions, Sen. Warren made her own post accusing Trump of “slut-shaming.” “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand?” asked Sen. Warren in her post. “Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.” Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you´re picking a fight with? Good
