According to the Washington Post, anyone who finds the Kate Steinle verdict upsetting can only be a white nationalist or a neo-Nazi. Any questions as to why the public so vehemently despises the press? In an article that had to be amended because it was apparently so badly sourced, the Washington Post reported on the aftermath of the verdict exclusively through the point of view of neo-Nazis and white supremacists. Kid you not. Implication: if you´re angry about the Steinle verdict, then you must be a neo-Nazi. The only other implication is only Nazi views matter. Then to drive the

They are going back to the tactic that worked so well on TV and Radio in the days of the "Fairness Doctrine": only present the people who hold views unpalatable to the general public along with the view with which they disagree, thus implying that everyone who holds the view they disagree with also holds unpalatable views.

I was born and raised Jewish. I had friends who were holocaust survivors, including one gentlemen who was pulled from a cart of dead bodies when the Americans liberated his Concentration Camp. I sure as hell am not a neo-Nazi.

I abhor the travesty of justice that occurred in San Francisco! There is no way that gun went off accidentally!

WHY did the judge not allow the jury to handle the weapon? Was it because that they would realize that the gun did not have a light trigger pull, as the defense claimed?

Maybe I don´t get around as much as others but in my 70+ years I´ve never met or known a neo-Nazi. Yet, they must be all around us according to the left wing media.

Ask any lawyer and they will explain to you that the perp in the Steinle case was guilty of involuntary manslaughter. California has shown once again for all to see why their citizens are delusional leftists. I suggest all thinking Americans boycott everything Californian: wine, citrus, movies. For my part I will never again ever set foot in that state. Arizona and Utah are plenty beautiful and I will not miss California.

This case is a complete tragedy. The attention given to it by Trump was unfair. That guy would be resting in a prison cell right now if Trump had not gone way over the top in calling attention to it.

Jerry Brown blames everyone

Jerry Brown is at it again. Blaming Californians for the devastating series of California wildfires month, he went Full Moonbeam and declared the problem a function of global warming, calling it a new normal about which nothing is to be done. As if wildfires that sweep away homes in California´s unique Mediteranean microclimates have never happened before this past week. Compare and contrast to President Trump´s gracious tweet on the matter, which was the classy thing to say: Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of California’s wildfires. I encourage everyone to heed the advice and orders of local and state

Since its inception in 1994, the Vanity Fair Oscar party, long hosted by Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter, has become the must-attend bash for Hollywood A-listers. Everyone who’s anyone poses on the red carpet: The night’s big winners inevitably stop by before or after hitting their own studio-hosted affairs; and stars not attending the awards ceremony show up here to watch it on big-screen televisions. The only other annual party that’s as star-studded is the Met Gala in Manhattan. In 2018, those two events could look more similar than ever, as tongues are wagging that Anna Wintour — editor-in-chief of Vogue, editorial

LOS ANGELES – A flare-up on the western edge of Southern California´s largest and most destructive wildfire sent residents fleeing Sunday, as wind-fanned flames churned through canyons and down hillsides toward coastal towns. Crews with help from water-dropping aircraft saved several homes as unpredictable gusts sent the blaze churning deeper into foothill areas northwest of Los Angeles that haven´t burned in decades. New evacuations were ordered in Carpinteria, a seaside city in Santa Barbara County that has been under fire threat for days. "The winds are kind of squirrely right now," said county fire spokesman Mike Eliason. "Some places the smoke is

After more than a decade of studying wildfires, San Diego County took its final exams last week. Did we pass? Authorities say the region is far better equipped to handle swift, wind-whipped flames than it was during the firestorms of 2007 and ’03. “We’re about $460 million more prepared,” Supervisor Dianne Jacob said Friday, “both on the ground and in the air.” Officials cited better communication between fire agencies; more fire engines and air tankers on the front lines, day and night; and better tracking of the flames. Despite these advances, the Lilac Fire’s first 24 hours consumed 4,100 acres

Amnesty International, the sanctimonious purported human rights group that champions halting the death penalty, has been caught taking $160,000 from George Soros´s Open Society Foundation to promote...abortion, in contravention of Irish law. File under "unclear on the concept" in championing the value of human life. It´s hard to say which player in this drama here is most loathsome. Soros is appalling just for his uni-world vision with rotted out values, from pot legalization to releasing predators out on the streets from prisons to coercive, anything-goes redefinitions of family. He calls himself a "stateless statesman" and sees that as his license

Update (1:30 p.m.) - California Governor Jerry Brown says deadly and destructive wildfires in winter are "the new normal." Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. At a news conference, Brown said drought and climate change mean California faces a "new reality" where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars. He added that gusty winds and low humidity are continuing and warned that there´s a good chance of seeing "firefighting at Christmas." He also said: "With climate

Lilac Fire 20 percent contained;

North County’s Lilac wildfire is now 20 percent contained as firefighters focus on hotspots and embers that could ignite islands of vegetation the fire hasn’t yet scorched. Many residents forced to evacuate continue to wait for permission to return home, with firefighting officials saying they’re reluctant to let residents go back because they could be forced to evacuate again if fires flare up. Some of the crews that worked overnight to suppress the 4,100-acre blaze are getting relief from new crews scheduled to join the effort this morning. The potential for winds to flare up and turn hotspots and embers into larger

MONTGOMERY, Alabama — Frank Luntz, a GOP establishment messaging consultant, was visibly flabbergasted as every single one of his focus group participants in a Birmingham area Vice News-produced panel backed Judge Roy Moore for U.S. Senate. Titled “Why These Alabama Voters Are Sticking By Roy Moore,” Luntz’s Vice News focus group aired on Vice News Tonight on Dec. 8 on HBO. “Are you all Christians here?” Luntz opens the seven-and-a-half-minute long segment. “Yes,” all of the focus group participants, who joined Luntz in a Birmingham area restaurant, replied. “Is Roy Moore a good Christian?” he followed up. “Yes,” one woman replied. “Absolutely,” another said. “Absolutely?”

There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. I´m pretty much done with the sex scandals. They were fun, but they´re just going to have to carry on without me. If someone broke the law and you can prove it, prosecute him. If someone violated the rules of his organization, eject him. Other than that, if women have forgotten the fine art of slapping a man in the face, there´s not a whole hell of a lot society can do for them. You keep silent for forty years and then ruin a man´s career with an unprovable allegation — and that makes you a hero? Not to me. Look,

Prior to President Donald Trump’s visit to the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum today, Fox & Friends brought on Trump supporter and former sheriff David Clarke to discuss the president’s appearance. And things got very tense very fast. Right off the bat, co-host Pete Hegseth asked Clarke what he thought about Rep. An award-winning U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department has issued a scathing resignation letter, accusing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Donald Trump administration of undercutting the State Department and damaging America’s influence in the world. Elizabeth Shackelford, who most recently served as a political officer based in Nairobi for the U.S. mission to Somalia, wrote to Tillerson that she reluctantly had decided to quit because the administration had abandoned human rights as a priority and shown disdain for the State Department’s diplomatic work,
