Yes, Pope Francis, President
Trump IS Pro-Life

It saddens me that Pope Francis refuses to recognize the pro-life intentions and actions of President Trump. The president has made good on his promises to pro-life voters, starting on his first day in office with his restoration of the Mexico City Policy, which he later expanded. Federal funds can no longer pay for abortions overseas. And there is more, not the least of which is the presence of Justice Neil Gorsuch on the U.S. Supreme Court. But rather than applauding the president’s actions, Pope Francis has attempted to co-opt the meaning of “pro-life” to include his preferred immigration policies. Speaking

Pope Francis disappoints me but does not surprise me. He acts like almost every other Jesuit I know.

Amen #1. When the cardinals elected a Jesuit from a socialist country my first thought was "what could go wrong "? He has been the idiot pope.

Looking for a silver lining here, better for Trump not to appear to be the Pope´s toy. If the Pope were otherwise, people would say Trump was being dominated by Catholic Melania, in secret. As it is, they are misunderstood and rejected by the Papacy, which is nearly a condition of later canonization it is so very common. Thus: All is well! And pew-sitting Catholics will not care at all, even if they say they do. The pro-lifers Love Trump.

as a Catholic i can say this aint my fave pope, however he is NOT the Church or the MAgisterium He too will pass. He is a socialist so you gotta factor it in. Church teachings are not changeable---he can interpret what he wants but the teachings are not affected by politics they are above politics..

I researched and found EXACTLY what Pope Francis said about all this DACA stuff. I also heard Father Jonathan Morris explain it on Tucker Carlson. It seems that what was reported was NOT really what was said, and real comments were favorable toward U S immigration policy on illegals. I feel better now. I found little to disagree with in his.

I think the thing the Pope is most guilty of is speaking "off the cuff" to idiot reporters who are looking for juicy stuff and to stir up trouble.

It would serve Francis much better to release prepared statements in their entirety, and they be translated by people who don´t have an agenda.

The "Swiss Guard" look mighty tough with their shiney halliards and poofy hats but Il Papa has no more "Divisions" now than he did when Il Duce posed the question some 78 years ago.

Holy Mother, the Church has abandoned it´s militaristic methods for quite some time so it is sad to see it´s CEO embrace a system which has murdered hundreds of millions in the name of "Equality".

What would "Iggi" do ?

Not Iggi Pop.......Ignatius Loyola....founder of the Jesuits.

As a practicing "cradle" Catholic, conservative in my social, moral, and theological views, I am constantly amazed by the statements of our Pope. Unfortunately, he often reflects the views of many current Catholics, laity and clergy.

Among those Catholics who support this pope is Fr Morris. . . I turn him off whenever he shows up on the tube. I wish FNC would use a different person as the Church´s authority, someone like Chaput from Philadelphia!

Girls creator and star Lena Dunham has come to the defense of producer Murray Miller, who was accused Friday of raping a then-17-year-old actress in 2012. Aurora Perrineau — the daughter of former Lost actor Harold Perrineau — filed a police report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office Friday claiming that after a night out at a bar in Los Angeles in 2012, she awoke to find Murray having sex with her in his bed. Perrineau shared the results of a polygraph test she claims to have passed with The Wrap Friday, in which she claimed that Miller had

Attorney General Jeff Sessions defended his ending of a President Obama-created temporary amnesty program for illegal aliens, saying it “cannot be defended” under the Rule of Law. In a speech to the Federalist Society, Sessions — a pioneer of the immigration in the national interest movement — blasted the Obama administration’s creation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that has given temporary amnesty to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens. “Similarly, no Cabinet Secretary has the power, through guidance, letters or otherwise, to wipe entire sections of immigration law,” Sessions said. “But that’s what the previous administration did with its Deferred

It was massively unreported in 2014 when Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi took control of the Gaza Sinai border and began removing the Hamas Terror tunnels. As we watched the local media reporting, it was almost unbelievable how western media were ignoring the events. (example) A full one-third of all homes on the Gaza border with Egypt contained Hamas tunnels used to smuggle weapons. One of the discovered tunnels was 1.5 miles long (link). In order to deal with the scale of the issue, al-Sisi ordered the removal of houses to facilitate an almost mile-wide buffer zone. During the effort

Mark Osborne writes at ABC News that Republican Senator Jeff Flake was caught on a hot mic criticizing President Donald Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore: Sen. Jeff Flake, a frequent sparring partner of President Donald Trump, continues to make enemies in his own party after calling the GOP “toast” while unaware he was still on a live mic. Flake, R-Ariz., was at a tax reform event in Mesa, Arizona on Friday night when he was caught bashing the president in a conversation with friend, Mesa Mayor John Giles. “If we become the party of Roy Moore and Donald

Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones holds extreme views on abortion that are not in tune with the pro-life state of Alabama, but he’s apparently working to soften them. In a recent interview with AL.com, Jones walked back his prior comments on abortion in which he refused any restrictions on abortion up until the baby’s day of birth. Now, however, Jones says he wants to “be clear” about his stance on abortion. Jones told AL.com he was the victim of an “attack” since his MSNBC interview in which he said he becomes a “right-to-lifer” only after a baby is born. “Those comments, everybody wants

Once upon a time, Hillary Clinton thought the prospect of a presidential candidate declining to pledge to absolutely accept the sanctity of certified election results was "horrifying." She said so in a general election debate in order to attack Donald Trump -- who, at the time, was (recklessly) leaving the door open to challenge the outcome of an election most people expected him to lose. Chief among these people was Hillary Clinton. That´s why she excoriated his dodging and noncommittal answers on the question as dangerous to American democracy. (Snip for video)[Clinton] said she found “horrifying” the intimation he would

One year after losing the presidential race, 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is still questioning the “legitimacy” of President Trump’s victory, accusing Republicans of voter suppression tactics in swing states and Russians of influencing votes through a “disinformation campaign.” “I think that there are lots of questions about its legitimacy,” Clinton said of the election during a video interview posted online Friday by the liberal Mother Jones website. Clinton lamented how “we don’t have a method for contesting” the election in the United States and called for an independent commission to “get to the bottom of what happened.” She suggested that she

NEW YORK — Kirsten Gillibrand is having a moment, whether she meant to or not. Going where no other prominent Democrat had before on Thursday evening by declaring that Bill Clinton should have resigned the presidency during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the New York senator and potential 2020 presidential contender yet again found herself the face of a national conversation with the potential to dominate headlines and divide her party. At a time Democrats are desperate to keep the focus on accusations against President Donald Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, Gillibrand’s stand shocked even some of her close allies. A Democratic congresswoman says she was sexually assaulted by a “prominent, historical” senator in the 1980s — and “everyone on Capitol Hill knew” that he was a harasser. “Historical figure, hand kept going up the leg, I took it off. A women member was at the table, recognized what was happening, and said, ‘switch places,´” Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell told CNN. (Snip) Dingell said it happened in her first year of marriage to Rep. John Dingell, whom she wed in 1981.
