Colorado on Wednesday announced that it would join 15 other states and the District of Columbia in a lawsuit against President Trump’s decision to phase out the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Gov. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) called Trump’s decision to end the program “outrageous,” pressing Congress to “immediately” pass the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act and immigration reforms. “President Trump’s decision to end the DACA program is outrageous and risks the futures of more than 17,000 Coloradans. Colorado benefits when DREAMers have the

How can they have standing in a lawsuit where no law exists? DACA is lawless.

States suing the Administration to keep something that is illegal. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that the EO for DACA is unconstitutional, so all this is for show only.

Send them all to Colorado and cut all Federal subsidy since the state is INTENTIONALLY engaged in criminal activity.

Hickenlooper is a typical Democrat - he thinks more government and higher taxes are the answer to everything. I can´t wait until this POS is out of office.

The core claim here is that actions and powers available to other Chief Executives are not available to Donald Trump because he has ´bad´ intentions. Law and Justice cannot be administered this way. But apparently many judges right up to the Circuit level seem to agree. I would say nine to nothing it gets thrown out. Unless that crazy coot Ruthie Ginsburg goes berserk.

An executive order can be undone by another President´s executive order. LAWS are intended to be made by Congress, NOT the President of the Supreme Court.

For some reason, politicians think we have done away with the Separation of Powers in the Constitution.

First article 1 section 8 give powers of naturalization (immigration for you liberals) to Congress. Not the executive branch which means DACA is unconstitutional. It´s a loser like DAPA!!!

Hickenlooper presents himself as a pro-business centrist, but he´s a slimy democrat hack. One interpretation of Colorado joining this lawsuit is Hickenlooper and his contributors don´t want to pay living wages to their employees. An illegal alien who worked at Hickenlooper´s restaurant in lower downtown Denver murdered an off duty policeman execution style in 2005.

Just an another attempt by the liberal Democrats to round up the future votes of DACA supporters. So was the original memo that installed DACA before the election by Obama´s Homeland Security Jeh Johnson.

Who cares if these snowflakes think it is "outrageous" for President Trump to end DACA?!?!?!?

All that matters is if it is legal for him to do so -- which it IS!!!!!!

LIE-berals love to waste our court system time and money...

So, the Democrats are suing to ensure an unconstitutional EO is somehow reversed, and declared constitutional?

Even Obama said he didn´t have this authority, but did it anyhow. This is a Democrat created mess, and they are trying to make political points with it.

The compassionate Trump, provided 6 months for Congress to act on this issue, and find a solution within that time.

If we need more immigrants, simply increase the legal quotas, and improve the time it takes to process legal immigrants through the system.

Re #4, DACA was never even an Executive Order. It was a memorandum from Janet Napolitano, then head of Homeland Security.

It is sometimes referred to as “an executive action”.

One of Melania Trump´s favorite books is Dr. Seuss´s "Oh, the Places You´ll Go!," which she read with her son, Barron, "over and over" when he was younger. Once upon a time, Hillary Clinton thought the prospect of a presidential candidate declining to pledge to absolutely accept the sanctity of certified election results was "horrifying." She said so in a general election debate in order to attack Donald Trump -- who, at the time, was (recklessly) leaving the door open to challenge the outcome of an election most people expected him to lose. Chief among these people was Hillary Clinton. That´s why she excoriated his dodging and noncommittal answers on the question as dangerous to American democracy. (Snip for video)[Clinton] said she found “horrifying” the intimation he would

One year after losing the presidential race, 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is still questioning the “legitimacy” of President Trump’s victory, accusing Republicans of voter suppression tactics in swing states and Russians of influencing votes through a “disinformation campaign.” “I think that there are lots of questions about its legitimacy,” Clinton said of the election during a video interview posted online Friday by the liberal Mother Jones website. Clinton lamented how “we don’t have a method for contesting” the election in the United States and called for an independent commission to “get to the bottom of what happened.” She suggested that she

Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson, 76, has been diagnosed with Parkinson´s disease. Jackson made the announcement in a letter and said he first noticed physical changes about three years ago. The disease also affected his father. Parkinson´s is an incurable neurological disorder that can cause tremors, stiffness and difficulty balancing, walking and coordinating movement. ´My family and I began to notice changes about three years ago,´ Jackson wrote in a statement. ´After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson´s disease, a disease that bested my father.´ ´Recognition of the effects of this disease on me has been painful, and

NBC host Megyn Kelly said President Trump is being hypocritical for condemning Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., for sexually harassing and assaulting a woman. "Who that has been accused of sexual assault would have the gall to preach to others about sexual misconduct. How infuriating that would be. How tone deaf, Mr. President," Kelly said on NBC´s "Today" show Friday morning. Trump had tweeted Thursday night that Franken should not be advocating for respect of women. "And to think that just last week he was lecturing anyone who would listen about sexual harassment and respect for women. Lesley Stahl tape?" Trump

NEW YORK — Kirsten Gillibrand is having a moment, whether she meant to or not. Going where no other prominent Democrat had before on Thursday evening by declaring that Bill Clinton should have resigned the presidency during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the New York senator and potential 2020 presidential contender yet again found herself the face of a national conversation with the potential to dominate headlines and divide her party. At a time Democrats are desperate to keep the focus on accusations against President Donald Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, Gillibrand’s stand shocked even some of her close allies. A Democratic congresswoman says she was sexually assaulted by a “prominent, historical” senator in the 1980s — and “everyone on Capitol Hill knew” that he was a harasser. “Historical figure, hand kept going up the leg, I took it off. A women member was at the table, recognized what was happening, and said, ‘switch places,´” Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell told CNN. (Snip) Dingell said it happened in her first year of marriage to Rep. John Dingell, whom she wed in 1981. But despite the 36-year time gap, Dingell said she’s still afraid to name the prominent perv.
