Almost no hope for Obamacare fix:
panic may be the best option

People who know a lot more than I do about how the insurance industry works and how complex websites work are coming to the conclusion that come January 1st, the current uproar over Obamacare is going to seem like to good old days for Barry, Valerie, and the lesser figures of the Obama administration. There is an excellent chance that millions of families, formerly covered, are going to find themselves without health insurance coverage at all, and with no good options for getting any.(snip)It´s obvious that the American people are going to suffer grievous injury, and that government meddling in

"government meddeling" what a perfect observation for the mess that is being foisted on the American public, with the assurances it will get better and you will like it....!!

The website is indeed the least of the problems, but to any still singing the fantasy song that it can be fixed in time, simply remind them of the Nine Women rule.

Nine women cannot have a baby in one month.

Could it be, ObamaCare was never meant to work? The website never meant to register anyone? When panic sets in, what do you thing the Left will do? They will save the day with a Single Payer system run by the government. No more choices, no more selections, no more freedom or liberty.

Isn´t that what the Left originally wanted?

Yah, but you better pay the fine or the IRS will come after you. They`ll take you house, car, boat, bank account, they don`t care if you have health care or not. Obamacare was just one huge tax increase on everyone. Stealing your health care was just a side order. Social Security was sold the same way. FDR told everyone it was insurance, then had his Solicitor General argue to the Supreme Court it was a tax. SSDD...

Plan B: Blame greedy insurance companies, capitalism and Republican "sabotage." Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Poster #4 broke the code.... As a temporary fix, Obama will announce all Americans & all insurance companies will use ONE HC plan, to simplify things & make sure all are covered, just until fixes can be made.... in other words = NHC by default.

Of course... no "fixes" will be made other than to unionize all health care & insurance employees.

The website failed and Obamacare will fail because Tea Party conservatives and Republicans sabotaged Obama´s healthcare plan. They wanted it to fail and their constant obstructionism caused it to fail. It´s all their fault.

When in panic, or when in doubt, run in circles and scream and shout!

For more than 160 years, Henry David Thoreau´s essay on Civil Disobedience has inspired Americans to "make known what kind of government would command his respect" so that we could live under that government in good conscience. Ultimately, in a free society, that´s all we have that is truly our own; our conscience. Following its dictates, says Thoreau, is the only rational way to live your life and be true to oneself. It had been years since I read Civil Disobedience and I was surpised by how Cliven Bundy´s words echoed many of the theses in the essay. Legal experts overwhelmingly agree

A Soros-funded nonprofit New Yorker magazine called “one of the most important radical environmental groups in the country” has issued a statement denouncing the Bureau of Land Management‘s (BLM) decision to back away from a showdown with Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and hundreds of supporters. A scientist for The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) blasted BLM saying the federal agency “has a sacred duty to manage our public lands in the public interest…instead it is allowing a freeloading rancher and armed thugs to seize hundreds of thousands of acres of the people’s land as their own fiefdom.” CBD is funded by Earthjustice

If you live in flyover country, lay in a supply of popcorn and get ready to watch a continuing comedy drama being staged for your amusement by the progressives of San Francisco. The driving force is the classic dirty little secret of progressivism, greed and envy, and these deadly sins are amply on display in Baghdad-by-the-Bay these days.(snip)Yesterday, hundreds of SEIU members rallied in front of Twitter HQ to denounce the greed of the company that provides jobs and plenty of other tax revenue to assorted governments that employ SEIU members. Last week we witnessed repeated efforts by Democrats to polarize the country along racial lines. Eric Holder, speaking at Al Sharpton´s conference, implied that he and the President are being treated harshly because they are black. (snip) The Republican base that Steve Israel says is animated by racism, nominated me -- an American of African descent and a great grandson of slaves -- for Lt. Governor of Virginia. Harry Reid’s jihad against the Koch Brothers has already yielded a hilarious video compilation of his 134 mentions of their name. But now with new information, his Koch addiction can become a potent tool in the hands of Republicans. Call it karma, if you like, but the former boxer now leading the Senate majority has left himself wide open. It turns out that Koch Industries employees and PACs have donated to quite a large number of Congressional Democrats.(snip) The ads practically write themselves: Mary Landrieu’s Majority Leader says the Koch Brothers are un-American. Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

The internal contradictions of the progressive alliance that dominates San Francisco have erupted into violence, and there is every sign it will continue. Conservatives have an opportunity if we are clever. (snip)I had not set foot on Hayes Street for at least a couple of decades when I went there last week. I was utterly shocked by the transformation, and more than that, by the hostility of some of the people I was with toward the newcomers. Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively
