Oprah Winfrey: ´Trayvon Martin
Parallel to Emmett Till...In My
Mind, Same Thing´

Oprah Winfrey on Monday said the killings of Trayvon Martin and Emmett Till are the "same thing." This transpired during an interview with The Grio that aired on NBC´s Today show. OPRAH WINFREY: It´s so easy during this time: Trayvon Martin, Trayvon Martin parallel to Emmett Till, let me just tell you. In my mind, same thing. But you can, you can get stuck in that and not allow yourself to move forward and to see how far we´ve come. Really? Martin and Till are the same thing?

That is nenigrating to Mr Tll. She should e ashamed of herself for such a ridiculous statement. Apparently, with Oprah, color trumps law and common sense.

I´m not sure Oprah wants a true examination of the Till case. Yes, a terrible murder in a different time but Till was amazingly stupid, criminally ignorant or retarded.

Well I guess everyone is entitled to opinion. Thats OK. OBTW, I heard that people have an opinion that OW has parallels to h. rap brown, stokely carmichael, other prominent diversity leaders such as al sharpton, jesse jackson and shabaz malick ga-ba-gu (sp?) . I think those people must be referring to OW and her ilk´s advances because of affirmative action quotas and white guilter pity rather than based on their ability.

Till stuttered, he wasn´t retarded. He was trying to impress other teens by showing he could make friends with white girls. Who knows what actually happened between Till and the shopkeepers wife. I´d lay odds the wife exaggerated the account. Whatever, Till didn´t deserve to be murdered. The killers should have been put to death. Oprah is one sick woman.

"In My Mind"

Therein lies the problem.

Oprah and all those who are still demanding justice are showing just how little the truth and facts mean to them. What does mean something to them is their agenda and their narrative. If a judgment doesn´t fit their narrative, they are offended and want to riot.

Half of this nation has no clue what is right and wrong; nor do they care. In fact, they don´t even believe there is right and wrong. The only thing that has any meaning at all to them is their ´wants´, nothing else. That half are all Democrats.

Oprah has made her millions pandering to the emotions of women. Make no mistake about it, she is still a victim and believes she has the right to become the most racist person on this planet.

#8, you´re probably best looking up the basics of the Emmett Till case online. Put simply, he was a young black man from Chicago visiting relatives in Mississippi (I think) in the 1950s. He made the mistake of whistling (or otherwise showing interest) in a white woman while down there; while perhaps a dicey thing in Chicago, that was a MAJOR no-no in the Deep South in the 1950s. He was subsequently dragged from the house he was staying at and beaten to death, his body thrown into a swamp with a cotton gin fan tied around his neck for weight. He didn´t deserve that; if he was guilty of anything, it was of naivete, of not checking first to see what the "natives" were like where he was going.

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this

He’s been hammered for going around Congress with executive orders. But he’s within his authority—and he should go further on voting and transparency to make government work better. With Congress paralyzed, President Obama has promised to use his “pen and phone” to overcome the ongoing dysfunction and get some work done. And the White House has already acted several times to help improve America’s economy. But such policies, no matter how valuable, will achieve little if we do not fix our broken democracy. Allow me to suggest some ideas for how the president can do just that. First, some historical context. Presidents

Here is a selection of highlights from Friday’s release of documents from the Clinton presidency. The cache is part of a total of about 33,000 pages of presidential records that had been held back from various public records releases because of legal reasons exempting them from disclosure. A Clinton administration memo (page 674) shows a White House that was acutely aware of the first lady’s image problems as officials contemplated how to soften perceptions of Hillary Clinton and how to “build, energize and expand” her natural base. The latest cache of previously withheld Clinton documents includes an

They say it´s the sincerest form of flattery. At a press conference yesterday President Obama asserted that when it comes to ObamaCare, the Republican Party "is going through the stages of grief--anger and denial and all that stuff--and we´re not at acceptance yet." We used the same gag in October, though ObamaCare supporters were the butt of our joke. And we were recycling our own material: We also invoked the Elisabeth Kübler Ross "stages of grief" way back in November 2000 in reference to Al Gore´s refusal to concede his loss to George W. Bush. The GOP has been hijacked. That’s right, hijacked. Over the past 100 years, an elite progressive minority has taken the Republican Party far afield from its conservative platform and the interests and values of its grassroots conservative base. I’ll admit that, in the aftermath of the disappointments of the 2012 elections, conservatives like me are angry. We are angry at being blamed for Mitt Romney’s defeat, when we argued from the beginning that he was a Big Government establishment politician and that if he ran a content-free campaign, he would lose. We are angry at the disrespect shown to limited-government constitutional conservatives

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is "hellbent" on passing amnesty legislation, and other GOP leaders are signaling to donors and lobbyists that they also want to pass legislation this Congress, even though attempting to do so would depress the GOP base and create divisions within the party ahead of 2014´s midterm elections that could give Republicans control of Congress. According to the Wall Street Journal, Boehner told donors at a Las Vegas fundraiser in March that he was "hellbent on getting this done this year." After he met with President Barack Obama at the White House in February, Boehner said that

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
