Rubio votes with Democrats to kill
border security before legalization

Washington Examiner, by Conn Carroll

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., voted with Senate Democrats today to kill an amendment by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, that would have required the federal government to secure the border first before granting legalization to currently illegal immigrants. All four Republican members of the bipartisan Gang of Eight immigration group voted for Majority Leader Harry Reid’s, D-Nev., motion to table the Grassley amendment. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., who said she would vote for the underlying bill this Sunday, voted with her Republican

Comments:
All the spin and misrepresentations he has made on various shows on Fox can´t hide his duplicity on immigration. Bye bye Rubio. You´re toast. I´m sick of liars like him in the Republican party.

Rubio already switched parties, he just hasn´t made it official. You don´t make deals in back rooms with Chuck Schumer and claim you are a Republican, Rubio played the Tea Party.

I´m going to assume anyone who doesn´t speak English well is an amnesty usurper and treat them accordingly. This is what their legislation will cause. Prejudice is good when it is used defensively. Rubio is a tool.

Consider that Rubio, scam artist that he is, knows the country is becoming more Hispanic/Democrat every day.
He used Conservatives like me to allow him to gain office and then switch parties to run on the new the ´Hispanic Party´

Obama has a worthy challenger in the lying department.

I emailed my Senator and asked him to vote "No" on Amnesty, I don´t care if they don´t call it that, the truth is the truth. Anyhow, I also added that I did not expect him to do the right thing for the voters in my state or the citizens of this country, I was only contacting him to express my opinion and my concern for my country.

I went to the very first Tea Party event in a small town with a population of about 3,000. That many people showed up.
Not familiar with the TP guys, I went because my 80 year old mother asked me to take her.
The crowd was a solid mix of political parties, colors, and socio-economic citizens. When a Republican politician got up to speak, the crowd was polite, but almost unanimously ask her not to speak because that wasn´t why we were there; this was a venue for the public to voice their opinion. She got a look of fear on her face as crowd rejected her, that´s when I knew I was in the right place.

Mr. Rubio, you have no longer have a place with us!

Rubes is not fit to sleep in our dog house. Our dog, Spot, has more moral character than he. On Hannity´s show yesterday and once again, he spilled his lies, spoke rapidly, and did not say a word. Rush said today he is at a loss to understand these fools in DC. Rubes just lies outright to the hosts and even though they call him on it, he still manages a return appearance.

Rubio says we need to count the illegals who are here now by forcing them to get work permits [legalization?] and e-verify and then no new border crossers will be able to get jobs here. Very stiff penalties on employers who hire anyone without a work permit or e-verify number. It will take some time to finish the border fence and we need the work permit program in place first.

Sending scores of armed agents along with helicopters and dogs to confront an elderly Nevada rancher over grazing fees may seem like overkill, but critics say it’s not inconsistent with the federal government’s recent approach to environmental enforcement. The simmering truce between the Bundys and the Bureau of Land Management comes after high-profile raids last year by armed federal agents on small-time gold miners in tiny Chicken, Alaska, and guitar makers at the Gibson Guitar facilities in Tennessee. That doesn’t include more subtle threats, such as recent efforts by the Obama administration to raise grazing fees or pressure

Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Fla.) is among the Democrats pressing Congress to take up immigration reform. On Tuesday, he told a conference call that deportations are breaking families apart and leaving children in foster care. "So the human toll has been horrific. This president, by implementation of existing law, has been forced to deport a huge number of Americans." Although Garcia may consider the deportees to be "Americans," legally they are not. But they might become citizens if Garcia and other immigration advocates get their way. Democrats are urging Republicans to sign their discharge petition, which would force a House vote on

Key members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform expressed outrage at revelations made in newly released emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner coordinating with the Department of Justice on prosecuting nonprofit groups. One committee member said the emails prove why the IRS is “scared to give up the rest of Lois Lerner’s emails.” IRS commissioner John Koskinen was recently threatened with contempt for stonewalling the committee’s investigation. Koskinen claimed in a hearing that it could take years to provide the documents requested by Oversight. “The release of new documents

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Thank God for Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George. His investigation of what turned out to be the IRS abuse scandal may well have saved the Constitution and the nation. For his fair and impartial investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s abuse of Americans who dissent from President Obama’s agenda, Democrats have called for an investigation of him. George should not be investigated, but perhaps the Democrats who want him investigated — Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Matt Cartwright (D-PA) — should be. Their call for an investigation of the investigator might constitute interference with the ongoing investigation

Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes.
