Michelle Obama Wears Lacy
Monique Lhuillier to the White
House Correspondents´ Dinner

Michelle Obama did not walk the E!-streamed red carpet before tonight´s White House Correspondents´ Dinner — she was already at home, of course — so our first glimpse of her black Monique Lhuillier gown came later, once dinner started. And damn does she look good. This is a sexier look on her than usual, with a sheer lace panel over her decolletage and a molded bustier-style top. She very wisely chose a dress that photographs well while she´s sitting down, Schiaparelli-style, with elaborate beading along her collarbone and fitted cap sleeves that flatter her arms. Other observations:

The writer , in sympathy to the queen, avoids the correct term - front legs.

Liberals always want the woman to look sexier than the man. This is the basis of liberalism: to promote woman as sexy for the benefit of men. It´s the ultimate sexist philosophy.

Did Michelle Obama look sexy? All I can say is that sexy is in the eye of the beholder...who may need contact lenses.

After the sliming the liberal press did to the Bush family, I no longer feel any need to show "respect" for the office. I don´t want to suggest FLOTUS is ugly -- but truth is truth. A whole closet full of "sexy" attire will not make this woman attractive. "Homely" only begins to describe her. The author of this article is very obviously drunk and/or stoned.

I´m not one to go hatin´ on Mrs. O. Yes, her bangs are very unflattering, but that is a very pretty dress. I´d love to have one like it, but I am getting no raise and the price of food keeps climbing. So, I´ll recycle my old stuff and thank Gog we have a lot of thrift stores.

I haven´t liked any First Ladies since Grace Coolidge, so am an equal opportunity scold.

That said, I think Michelle Obama has the "raw material" to be a nice looking woman. But she never looks good. The problem is that when we first saw her back in 2008, the *real* Michelle Obama was on display. I.e. ugly, resentful, and anti-American. The real Michelle still shows through.

All the fancy make-overs, designer gowns, lavishly paid PR people and MSM kiss-ups can´t change the ugliness that comes from within.

The dress may well be pretty, but she always brings that ugly mug and body with her.

She is supposed to be the First Lady and she conducts herself as if she were a movie star or some type of royalty. She is neither. She has no knowledge as to how to conduct herself for the limited time she occupies as a First Lady.

The cash infusion by the federal government is actually going to help the city pay pensions, even though they´re playing a kind of shell game with the money. As for "blight removal," perhaps they could start with city hall. Reuters: Michigan officials and President Barack Obama´s Administration are discussing a plan to free up $100 million in federal money to aid Detroit´s retired city workers, the Detroit Free Press reported on Tuesday. Citing two people familiar with the talks, the newspaper said the talks were centered around federal money flowing to Michigan for blight removal. Under the plan, $100 million

One approaches the race fray with trepidation, but here we go, tippy-toe. The race cards have been flying so fast and furious lately, one can hardly tell the kings from the queens. It’s been a long time since Johnny Carson slept in the tiny upstairs room in the modest little house at 306 S. 13th St. in Norfolk. Carson was born in Iowa and moved to Norfolk with his family in the 1930s. They lived in at least one other house in Norfolk before moving into to the white, wood-frame structure on 13th Street. Built in the 1920s, the house featured a small kitchen, dining room and living room on the main floor, while the second floor contained a bathroom, several bedrooms and an enclosed porch. Mehlman, who managed George W. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
