| PALM CITY, FL — So how much would it cost to pop into Palm City from Washington DC for a weekend of golf at the posh Floridian, such as the three-day getaway President Barack Obama has on tap this weekend? Try around $8,000, including costs for airfare, a chartered helicopter, Floridian guest quarters, golf fees, meals and caddie tips. And that´s if you´re a guest of the ritzy waterfront golf community, founded in 1996 by H. Wayne Huizenga and purchased in 2010 by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane, who is hosting Obama´s visit. If you´re a Floridian member,

Base cost... Air Force one sits ready on tarmack, SS detail, heightened traffic, business squeezed... The $1,000 dollar golf lesson.
$8,000 seems low to begin with....

More outright lies by the media to pre-empt any later claims that the president is wasting our money while we suffer. No mention of his $1000 an hour lessons, costs of security, entertainment and guests of state, etc??? This $8,000 is just what Crane is paying for the basics...

Thing is, nothing is too good for our King. The Obama´s won the lottery big time when he got "elected" King. They are, as any good third-world dictator would do, milking it for all the country is worth, and sticking it to the white Man in the process. So stop complaining. They have just got started. If all goes as planned, he will rule for the remainder of his life time. Long live the King!

While he´s spending OUR money on his boys trip, Moochie and girls are also spending OUR money on their "annual" Aspen ski trip. It sure didn´t take those grifters long to learn how to live the good life. I guess Obama just likes to check out those terrible "millionaires and billionaires" first-hand.

Last year it cost 1.4 billion to keep the Grifter family in the style to which they have become accustomed. This year it will probably end up being 2-3 billion. Imagine the price tag when his reign is over, if it ever ends that is.

The owner of this course should pick up the entire tab for all the free publicity he´s getting from it.It´s nice to see he can run a golf resort better than his baseball team.
When you talk about a trip like this, the price is a mere formality. It´s chump change to the people who can afford it.

Why is Obama taking vacations even newsworthy anymore? "Newsworthy" is when he´s actually doing work. Which he´s never done. So him working should be WAY more newsworthy than him taking taxpayer funded vacations.

We were told that back when , liberals hated GW . But was it pure or just politics / party disagreement ?. They disliked his war policies . But does this boob we have now REALLY understand how much he is hated ? . I mean a visceral , upchucking -if- hear- his -name hatred . A loathing that one thot they´d never have ? . Because if he wasn´t so stupid and narcissic , he´d walk in fear . The libs talked openly about killing GW , but I´m a mind that was hype . This president has earned it , and every time he takes yet another joy ride while a Father can´t provide for his kids , well , the King better have a food tester .

Schools and police stations were burning in Stockholm as violent riots continued for a fifth consecutive night. Emergency services were called to 70 separate incidents, including two torched primary schools, burning shops and a destroyed library building also housing a local police unit. Despite police claiming that the situation is beginning to calm down, critics say the riots were unavoidable after years of widening social gaps in a country which has the highest proportion of foreign-born citizens in Scandinavia.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
