Americans to Washington:
Don’t tread on me

Washington Post, by Staff

Americans have a very special message for the federal government: Don’t tread on me.That’s the takeaway from a new poll from the Pew Research Center in which, for the first time in at least the last two decades, a majority of Americans say Washington actually poses a threat to their “personal rights and freedoms.”And it’s not just tea party supporters, Republicans and gun owners. Nearly two-fifths of Democrats (38 percent) say the government is a threat to them personally, as do 45 percent of non-gun owners.

And 99% of low information voters still believe they will have free health care and a chicken in every pot.

No matter what freedoms are lost or people suffering under government mandates, comprised by non elected people,Obama´s supporters will stick by him until there´s proof that he´s failed on redistribution.

Black people who are the most responsible for obama getting elected have seen negligible improvements in their stock if life while billions have been pumped to his rich liberal WHITE cronies.

The Democrat Party and it´s supporters pose a bigger threat to the future of America and it´s citizens than all Islamists combined. The damage that Democrats have done and are continuing to do may be insurmountable. Massive civil disobedience may be the only answer. All we have between us and the total overthrow of our government is a handful of GOP members in House and Senate, plus the GOP governors of the red states.

Who would have thought that the Gadsen Flag would be a rallying symbol against tyranny once again in this country. Each time I see it I am heartened to know that there are others out there who understand what is happening to our freedoms. Display it proudly. It is a great conversation starter and a source of support for others.

The "poll" that mattered was last november when the people re-elected obama, kept the senate in dem´s hands and elected some more dems to the house. Talk is cheap, actions speak.

Just look at what goobernment does for us. Increases the cost of everything (gas, food, insurance, etc.) and offers nothing except decreased freedom (can´t buy real gas, can´t buy affordable insurance but get ´taxed´ if we don´t). Goobernment at all levels tells us what we can eat, drink, reduces our rights in our home (can’t smoke even in a home, yet deviant sex is a ‘privacy’ right). Our goobernment is the greatest threat to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness we face. No communist threat or Muzzie threat even comes close. It is sad to say but we are nearing a point when we must decide, are we to be slaves to our tyrannical goobernment or are we Freedom Fighters?

Pfffffffftttttttt........ 47% will vote for more government no matter what. the 10+% of undecided voters are complete morons who will finally vote based on what they will get and a percentage of republicans will stay home because the GOP candidate isnt conservative enough, or wears magic underwear.

So this poll is completely meaningless.

And I disagree with #1. Lo-Fo voters don´t want a chicken in every pot - - they want pot in every chicken - - and they want us to pay for it.

All of this could have been easily predicted before Obama´s first election when the recording of him came out musing about the bill of rights that they didn´t go far enough. They said only what the government could not do to the citizens, but not what the government should do on your behalf. Obama articulated very clearly this alternate view of "rights" which turns the constitution on it´s head. Any government that is not restrained from treading on it´s citizens trying to be a universal provider is bound to become a tyranny as explained so well by Mark Levin in his best selling book. Obama told anyone who was listening to expect all of this before his first election.

The weight of Obamacare is cumulative and as it begins to weigh on them the public will begin to understand. Obamacare´s tax on medical devices has resulted in more than 100 layoffs in two states. It´s just one of many taxes which will come to light as the Plan is implemented.

We´re off on the Road to Communism, la la la
Multi million dollar bribed Diane Sawyer is responsible for everything that is wrong in the U.S. today. Without her blindness to the truth, without her 24/7 protecting every crime committed in Washington, without her censoring lies, there would otherwise be constant questioning of authority, constant complaining and bickering about the ancient, long term, too many yeear old gangsters who run Congress, and who have allowed a giant, ever growing cancerous federal government. Without all this unpunished guilt from all the self protecting crooks in the Beltway, a puny, crazed, raging little czar hiring king would not be able to function in our capitol
He would be caught up in his own crap day after day, he would be ridiculed for the Hitlerian charismatic image he portrays. When all the TV Diane Sawyers can observe the little dictator day after day without criticism, the political part of our country goes sour. Thank god for all the good people in the USA who are doing good for each other, continuing to make the magic of this country work. All the truck drivers, all the growers, all the food chain people, doctors, the good and the bad restaurants, a few non commie teachers. Despite Diane Sawyer, Obama, his commie comrades and a sick, greed addicted Congress, we still have a miracle country we live in.

The left is already equating the Gadsden Flag with the Stars and Bars. i.e. Gadsden Flag = Anti-Obama = Racist.

We can´t back down. The term "racist" must be shown for what it is. A clever way for a weaker side to gain the upper hand by using the psychological trigger called guilt.

You can see why a lot of thinking Americans are wondering just what is going on in Washington, DC. As an example, just last week Obama was claiming that while young woman should go into armed direct combat against the enemy on the battlefield, that it is too dangerous for young men to play college and professional football!

Don´t be too heartened by the lib/prog numbers. What this probably really means is the majority of them love the Obama government, but the others think that the fascist Republicans in the House have been too successful in limiting Obama´s right to rule as Dear Leader, preventing him from controlling all our lives more effectively.

At the heart of the mess the country is in is the frightening cohort of functionally illiterate voters that have been, and are being, flooded into the populace from the government schools. These people have no critical thinking skills, are mathematics, language and economics illiterates, have no understanding of the constitution or basic civics, and have been indoctrinated in socialist dogma.

These are the people who elected Zero, and they aren´t going away.

The nation has been dumbed down and a good majority are young. Basically, we have an illiterate electorate. What´s it going to take to win an national election? The answer...being able to communicate to the masses with simple solutions they can understand. Republicans need to become better sales people and should be required to listen to the great masters of sales techniques.

Trying to communicate the nations fiscal
problems is an waste of time. Telling them how much we´re all going to owe in the future is an exercise in futility. It´s negative and fear based. People want to hear something positive and they also want quick fixes. Tell them something they can relate to. Using the word "Jobs" over and over again isn´t good enough. Give them a road map, a plan of action. Put together a private coalition of companies who are willing to participate with internships. Teach the young how to dream about the future. Inspire with stories of successful people. We should recruit these people to help lead us into the future. This is what Romney failed to do and is what the GOP should be talking about this very moment.

Reagan helped create a nation of prosperity that lasted decades by inspiring us to reach for our dreams. He also gave us the utmost feeling of security. We never had to watch our backs when Reagan was at the helm.
The country has changed since the Reagan years. We´re a different country now and this needs to be taken into consideration. In other words, we can´t go back. However, we can still be the shining city on the hill as we move forward together. I pray the Republican party can reboot and come back with a winning game plan.

The important thing is that this is the "FIRST TIME" recently that a majority is feeling the downward crushing pressure of government and don´t like it.

This must be seized upon: get those ignorant boobs attention and get them informed.

Got to make sure that they know it´s the Dem/Lefties who are the big-government oppressors.

AND, wake up any Repubs who are tempted by "smaller, smarter government," which is nothing but little doses of poison, administered over a longer period of time.

We must seize the moment, not give up. Let´s not forget that the TEA Partiers have been incessantly denigrated, lied about, maligned, defamed.

Let´s not forget that the uninformed are truly uninformed, ignorant: NOT-KNOWING. They have a limited attention span, too.

They have virtually no historical perspective... can´t remember what happened four years ago, or even two years ago!

Why are they so dumb? ignorant? They demonstrate a lack of curiosity; apathy; intellectual shallowness, as they deeply imbibe entertainment and other frivolities leaving they drunk with silliness.

AND, very importantly, the media are fully engaged in pro-Dem/leftie propaganda, agitation and propaganda, as the Bolsheviks effectively used.

But, these folks have been made to think their vote is so important because they´re important. Little do they know that they are the useful idiots, the toadies. Offer them dignity in return for getting informed. Some, but never all, will respond positively.

Never give up. Never ever ever give up. (to paraphrase Sir Winston Churchill). This isn´t the time for "sunshine patriots." (Tom Paine)

Government and Media, birds of a feather, constantly pursue, reach and eventually influence their primary target market: People incapable of thinking for themselves or just too lazy to expend the effort. That’s how we get what we get and what we’ve got.

“Don’t tread on me?” Hardly! “Tread all you want!” is more like it. The Public Sector is America’s textbook example of how not to run a business in The Private Sector.
