Washington - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton issued a parting warning Thursday about Syria´s civil war, accusing Iran of playing an increasingly prominent role in directing the violence, which she said heightened the danger of a larger regional conflict that draws in Israel or other neighbors. "I´ve done what was possible to do," Clinton told reporters on the eve of her last day as secretary of state. But she painted a harrowing picture of a war that could still get worse. "The worst kind of predictions about what could happen internally and spilling over the borders of Syria

Comments:
Syria, after 22 months of civil war and Egpypt ready to go back into chaos. Oh, there´s Iran, oil fields in Iraq and Algeria.

She will disappear and hopes to re- emerge as a virginal figure just in time for the ´16 race.
Not only has she never answered for the various and sundry Clinton era scandals that she either orchestrated or tried to cover-up, she has not even come close to explaining the Benghazi cover-up. Republicans let this vapid, corrupt and incompetent cow off the hook at their own peril.....and the peril of the nation.

While the U.S. was bombing khaddafi´s libya to the tune of 800 million dollars, hillary was saying that Assad was a reformer. And while she was saying that, Assad was killing his people.
She is as big a fraud as the president. They seem to believe that they can say anything, regardless of the facts, and get away with it.
They are right, so far.

To get for her presidential race she can get her buddy Greta van Susteren to interview with more questions designed to make her look good.

She knows exactly what she left John Kerry. Its a powder keg rigged not to fully explode until after her departure. She will claim she tried to warn him. She will look good compared to Kerry to the low info voters. Will the MSM carry her water or Obamas. If he doesn´t go for a third term they will start taking her side in prep for her run in 2016. Or maybe I have finally gone round the bend.

There was no reason for her to butt heads with Putin over Syria. We should have worked together early on to put a stop to the killing. Instead we have a mess. A mess that could lead to something horrific. The woman´s a disgrace.

Hillary lost Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Mali, Irak, Afghanistan, Syria and Russia. The only good thing we will get out of Monica´s Boyfriend´s Wife is that our Muslim enemies will bleed themselves white.

You don´t understand what is important. Now that we have had a black president we must have a female president to complete the liberal agenda.

This woman wakes up every day with a tattoo of the Oval Office stamped on her forehead. It´s pure obsessive, compulsive disorder. All she did for the past 4 years is contribute to climate change flying planes all over the world, giving foreign aid to countries for a small donation to the Clinton Library and slush fund.

Conservatives are results orientated people who can´t see any value in a person like Clinton or Obama.Bill Clinton would have been as bad or worse than Obama, without a republican congress keeping him in check.

The only thing Obama has learned from the Clintons is to have several layers of firewalls between him and his disasters. Plus the MSM is more virulent in their protection of Obama,vs. Clinton.Clinton created the right right wing media that still haunts the left to this day.

The world is in a much more dangerous and unpredictable place since Clinton was SoS but that is glazed over by the media that wants to see a woman president over their fireplace mantel. After that, they want a gay president.

Seoul - North Korea fired a short-range missile from its east coast on Sunday, a day after launching three of these missiles, a South Korean news agency said, ignoring calls for restraint from Western powers. Launches by the North of short-range missiles are not uncommon but, after recent warnings from the communist state of impending nuclear war, such actions have raised concerns about the region´s security. Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) on Sunday said that he feared the Internal Revenue Service scandal over political targeting of Tea Party groups would unfairly stigmatize other workers at the agency. “The biggest problem is that tens of thousands of IRS workers that work hard with all of this stigma being tax collectors, are getting a bad shake out of this,” said Rangel during a panel discussion on ABC’s “This Week.” The IRS acknowledgement that agents used higher scrutiny against conservative groups seeking tax exempt status has already claimed the job of acting director Steven Miller

New York - Police say a gunman used anti-gay slurs before fatally shooting a 32-year-old man in New York City´s Greenwich (GREN´-ich) Village. Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Saturday that the shooting, which occurred just after midnight, appears to have been a hate crime. Kelly says the gunman was seen urinating on the street outside a bar. He says the man went into the bar, made anti-gay remarks to the bartender and showed the bartender that he was wearing a holster with a silver pistol. Beirut, Lebanon — President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, in a rare interview with a foreign newspaper, appeared to dismiss the possibility of serious progress arising from peace talks planned for next month, and to back away from earlier statements by Syrian officials that the government was willing to negotiate with its armed opponents. “We do not believe that many Western countries really want a solution in Syria,” Mr. Assad told Argentina’s Clarín newspaper in an interview published online on Saturday, blaming those countries for supporting “terrorists” fighting his government.

In 1953, the celebrated chemist Linus Pauling, already on track for a Nobel Prize for his work on chemical bonds, solved a major biochemical mystery by figuring out the structure of DNA—but his solution was utterly wrong. Later that decade, the brilliant astrophysicist Fred Hoyle, who had played a major role in discovering how new elements are forged in the core of the Sun, came up with an explanation for the expanding universe. It was known as the “steady-state” theory, and while it was ingenious, it was wrong too. In the early 1900’s Lord Kelvin, one of the founders of thermodynamics,

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
