President Barack Obama said if he had a son, he would have to think "long and hard" before he let him play football and suggested he--along with other football fans--watches football against his conscience. "I´m a big football fan, but I have to tell you if I had a son, I´d have to think long and hard before I let him play football," Obama said. In an interview with the left-of-centerThe New Republic, Obama said football will "probably change gradually to try to reduce some of the violence" and that may allow fans to not have to "examine our consciences

Rush has predicted the end of football as we know it. He´s probably right. The NFL will soon be forced to take women and give them linebacker jobs.

Just keep alienating various segments of the population, you hen-pecked loser. And this is a career at which young black men have a better chance than whites--- and of enjoying a multi-million dollar salary.

If you had a boy in Chicago, you´d think long and hard about even letting him leave through the front door.

You know that people hit each other in football. That´s like suing someone after the fact because you got your nose broken while boxing.

Life has risks. People make choices. People still choose to smoke since the 1964 warning, and still sue the tobacco companies. It is a crazy world we live in.

You have daughters...change the rules so that THEY can play on the Frontlines of the NFL. In fact, just pass an executive order that Mandates proportional representation not only of women but of transgended and transexuals...add the NBA while you´re at it.

Typical empty, valueless statement from Mr. Obama. If he had a son he would not let him play football. But he doesn´t have a son. And football will "probably change gradually to try to reduce some of the violence". But he is still a "big football fan". Got that?

No wonder he won´t release his college transcripts.

The question is: why are we interested in his opinion on any sport or leisure activity in the first place?

More pronouncements from the One. He wants us to know that while he watches football, he´s not like the rest of the Neanderthals that watch the Superbowl and beat their wives and girlfriends during the commercials. He won´t hire women, or pay them the same way he pays the men, but he wants you to know he´s not like the Neanderthals who have declared war on women. He eats burgers and fries, but he wants you to know he´s not like those Neanderthals who eat junk food. And on and on. Your typical metrosexual.

To take a stab at the question #14 poses, I would say that we have a better chance of getting a correct opinion from the slacker on sports than we do on ANYTHING regarding policy of anykind from this guy. After all, he spends more of his time on sports than he does his job now doesn´t he?

Cue up the trial lawyers...this is a tried and true method for poisoning the well of public sentiment against the evil NFL owners. This same tactic has been used against physicians, to promote malpractice suits, against car companies like Toyota, you name..you frighten a sector into spending money on lobbying, lawyers, and campaign contributions to stave off meddling by congress. Meanwhile, the trial lawyers attack like wolves from the sides, trying to thin the herd. Demonization is the tactic. Of course who pays for this? The ticket buyers and fans. I´m guessing Obama prefers soccer...

Liberals seek to control every little aspect of individuals´ lives-- the light bulbs we use in living room lamps, the shopping bags we use to carry groceries, the cars we drive, football, the entertainment many of us cherish, and what we say, even our very thoughts. Liberals want to silence all criticism, no matter how valid, of protected groups, particularly muslims, blacks and gays. For libs, nothing will ever be enough. They are relentless. Do as I say, not as I do. Hypocrisy.

Social Security stops trying

Washington Post, by Marc Fisher    Original Article

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

The Dallas Morning News´ Senior Political Writer Wayne Slater (DMN) reported that Davis supported legislation governing a toll road project. Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat. The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev. Mr. Kornze issued a statement Saturday saying that the bureau would return the cattle and withdraw its agents from the ranch

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. In promoting legislation that would extend unemployment benefits, increase the minimum wage and promote equal pay for women, the Democrats have declared themselves the party that will ensure a “fair shot” for all. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn.
