Twenty-four hours after she sang pretty much the best version of the national anthem since Whitney Houston, word is emerging that Beyoncé chose to switch to a pre-recorded version of "The Star Spangled Banner" for Monday´s inauguration. Not that anyone wants to believe it — not even the "Beyoncé truthers" — but here´s the new evidence that there is no Santa Claus completely perfect live version of the song: Beyoncé switched tracks. The Times of London and The New York Post are both touting midday "exclusives," citing new interviews with the spokesperson for the U.S. Marine Band,

Anything to keep her from talking. She is a good singer, but nothing intelligent or even interesting comes out of her mouth while speaking.

Read the very funny comments after the article! HA!

Beyoncé also had a fake pregnancy. She pretended to be pregnant, a surrogate had the kid - search on: beyonce fake pregnancy

No wonder she and obama get along.

Everything about 0bama and his ilk are fake, it is no surprise that the performers he uses are faking it also.

Beyonce´ is a minor singing talent with a flair for bouncing boobs and junk in the trunk. Compare her to some of the great pop singers of forty years ago and you´ll see what I mean.

Meh. If you peer closely, you can usually tell (and I was pretty sure she was syncing early on). I thought it was a terribly lackluster version myself.

Actually, they all lip-sync nowadays...and have been for decades. It is just too big of a venue now to really be able to sing properly in. It is hard to hear. But that doesn´t mean I am defending her. She is a phony anyway.

Reply 22 - Posted by: Roll Tide, 1/22/2013 5:01:36 PM     (No. 9132987)

There´s a video of the performance on YouTube in which you can hear her singing live along with the pre-recorded version. Pretty sad. At least her wobbly vibrato sort of lines up with itself.

After watching the TCM tribute to Danny Kaye this weekend, one wonders what happened to that kind of amazing talent. Surely it´s still out there SOMEwhere.

Why does a celebrity have to sing at the Inauguration? Why not have a member of the military do it? They can sing live without the supreme egos of celebrities who know they sound better on tape than in person.

Reply 24 - Posted by: anonymous, 1/22/2013 5:37:58 PM     (No. 9133023)

I´m not surprised Beyonce faked it. Her photos in the magazines are also reportedly Photo Shopped. It´s an industry of fake singing and fake appearances. Fake, fake, fake. A perfect metaphor for Obama himself.

She can´t sing live. Her dentures would fall out.

Birds of a feather flock together. They are all faking it.

Unionized local employees repeatedly harassed and intimidated non-union workers of a private disaster cleanup firm that won a government contract to restore Long Island, New York, in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The vice president of the union even made threats against the wife and kids of one of the workers. That worker felt it necessary to call the police and pursue other security measures to protect his family, a source told The Daily Caller News Foundation. After Hurricane Sandy devastated the New York and New Jersey shoreline in late October, Looks Great Services (LGS)

The IRS has disabled the computer accounts of Lois Lerner, the director of exempt organizations who’s been put on administrative leave, and Holly Paz, the former director of the Office of Rulings and Agreements, according to an IRS source familiar with the situation. The source says that their accounts were shut down shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the request of Glenn Melcher, who identifies himself as a lawyer with the office of the IRS’s chief counsel. That’s the same day that National Review Online reported that, contrary to the IRS’s blanket denial,

Despite his evident reluctance to take America into the Syrian civil war, President Barack Obama appears to be traveling down that road step-by-step. He has decided the U.S. will provide weapons to the insurgents. If that action fails to transform the conflict, he will face increasing pressure for Washington to do more. And if he does, he risks involving the country in another senseless conflict — and ruining his presidency in the process. It may be pure coincidence, but the president acted only after Bill Clinton warned that the current occupant of the Oval Office could end up

Former IT guy Edward Snowden, 29, is not in a good position right now. He´s stuck in Hong Kong, waiting to be interrogated by Chinese officials. These Chinese officials are going to ask him to turn over thousands of secret documents he stole from the NSA, a client of his former employer, Booz Allen. If Snowden does what these Chinese officials ask, he´ll reveal American security secrets to one of America´s biggest security threats. If Snowden does not hand over documents to China, he may face extradition back to the United States where life in prison is a very real

It was tough choosing between “Ecofeminist Ecosocialism in Action: Perspective on Contemporary Movements for a Planet Beyond Capitalism” and “Sarte Re-visited in a Time of Crisis,” two of the highlights of the 2013 Left Forum. But somehow I managed. The Left Forum is the preeminent socialist confab in the United States, bringing together leftists of all stripes since 1981 for three days of panels, lectures, and more panels. So many panels. I arrived at Pace University in lower Manhattan on Saturday morning, June 7, and, after convincing the coordinator that I was a Very Serious Reporter,

Republicans Need Ron Paul

The Congressional Baseball Game gives congressmen tired of shouting matches on the floor an annual chance to blow off steam on the diamond. There, the shot at clear victory, alien in the world of committee meetings and debates, inspires fever pitch efforts from both parties. Yesterday at Nationals Park, the Democrats hit boiling point early and blew by the Republicans 22-0. Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA), who has carried the team for the past two years, pitched seven shutout innings and drove in two runs with his four hits. There was no mercy on display. Whuppings aren’t uncommon

You don´t have to be a rocket scientist to know that the Republican party has a problem with the millennial generation. Americans born after 1980 voted by some 25pt for President Obama over Mitt Romney, while the rest of the electorate narrowly supported the Republican candidate. It´s my view that Republicans can do little to attract most Millennials – but privacy may be the exception. Our Guardian poll conducted by Public Policy Polling indicated that Democrats were more supportive of President Obama´s position on the National Security Agency (NSA) leaks than other parts of the electorate:

In the latest black eye for the scandal-ridden State Department, a whistleblower claims she was run out of the foreign service after complaining about a consul general’s alleged office trysts with subordinates and hookers.Kerry Howard says she was bullied, harassed and forced to resign after she exposed US Consul General Donald Moore’s alleged security-threatening shenanigans in the Naples, Italy, office. As the post’s community-liaison officer, Howard was charged with keeping workplace peace and advising higher-ups on the state of morale, but when she revealed allegations about her boss, State Department officials swept it under the rug,

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:
