| Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton likely will face tough questions about the deadly Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya — including how the U.S. ambassador went missing for several hours during the assault — when she meets Wednesday with the House and Senate foreign affairs committees. The appearance, likely to be her last before Congress, will cap her time as secretary of state by revisiting one of the most bitterly contested and controversial episodes of her tenure

"Essay: Blizzard of Lies By WILLIAM SAFIRE Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady -- a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation -- is a congenital liar."

This is going to be America´s last shot at this corrupt and incompetent pig until the ´16 campaign. She has a four decade history of scandal for which she has NEVER had to answer. This was a cover- up of the first order and if the Repubs. Want to see this leftist slug and her sex pervert criminal husband follow the destructive ba$tard now in office, all they have to do is play kissy face with Madam. If she is not taken out now she gets a free ride to 2016.

Poster 2, Heart Surgeon, thank you for posting the congenital liar piece. While an apt description, it didn´t stop Hillary as senator, an almost presidential candidate or as SoS. This is because she is a progressive Dem, and absolutely nothing stops a progressive Dem other than another progressive Dem.
However, if HRC is congenital, then her mate must be a genital liar. "I did not have sex with that woman."

Hillary will do a pathetic tap dance for the committee and will exit the old stage left into oblivion. She will not be the 2016 nominee unless she can find an expert black face artist and become a male figure while losing 25 years off her resume´. If she doesn´t come clean it will make my sister weep because she expects saint Hillary to blow the whistle this week and allow us to wave Obe bye bye.

There is a certain entertainment value to watching these people lie and obfuscate.I´m watching for her to deny she ever saw a request from Stevens for more security.
She already halfway blamed Stevens a while back by saying he knew the risk he was taking going in there.
This was an out and out assassination of Stevens by his own government for a reason we don´t know and that will never come out in this inquiry.

We are now led by the corrupt and the watchdog is the corrupted media.

Like most commenters before me, the headline reads like a sick joke.
The notion that Republicans expect anything other than what everyone else expects, which is a pant-load of time-killing nonresponsive answers, can´t recalling, indignant posturing, and outright lying is laughable. Also laughable is the fantasy that Republicans will do anything other than furiously raise their eyebrows, angrily straighten their papers, or abruptly turn to staff and dispatch them on urgent missions.
This thing could get the popcorn-worthy Iran-Contra treatment, but I would bet the farm that the Republicans flinch before Herself does. Not even close. They will go in thinking they have to be tough, but not too tough on a "respected" SoS, and a woman with high approvals and aspirations. She will go in hacked off that she even has to deal with these vermin. She wins, hands down.

She will be so sad these 4 Americans lost their lives, she will have been busy with solving the rest of the world´s problems (read: eating their food, drinking their beer, and dancing their dances), and there will be a conspiracy in place to make her look bad.

The progressives will declare that the Republicans are escalating the war on women when they ask Mrs. Clinton anything that makes her uncomfortable. I would like to see a woman ask the hard questions and brook no evasive answers on the SOS´s part. However, the left will cry foul if any question pushes too hard. Mrs. Clinton wanted the job, hold her accountable for her decisions. Men died because of her incompetence. Their families deserve answers.

They don´t refer to the State dept. as Foggy Bottom for nothing you know. Barack Obama has a better chance of becoming a fiscal conservative than we have in getting the open and honest truth from a Clinton. Unless she can do it in such a way that it knocks Obama off his perch without hurting her. I suspect that is why it has taken so long for her testimony.

This is a first, lying for Obie. Most of her previous, long list of lies and unsolved deaths were all done to protect her Slick Willie. Now she´s being asked to lie for the raging, vindictive, commie style person not her husband. The world knows she can only lie, or die. The good news, she has all of mainstream media backing up her every lie. Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Steve Pelley, the whole army of limousine news actors will back up her every evasive, Slick Hilary words. Whatever we see will have been rehearsed, all of it "just for show", another socialist nail in the coffin of America. There will not be one questioner to actually pursue the truth. i suspect the phrase she will use is not "I don´t recall", but a more lawyerly and nuanced "I have no independent recollection".
This avoids having her memory called into question, while saving her from uttering any statements that could be construed as perjury. She won´t have to comment further on any damning emails or on the record statements she has made before...it lets her skate...she does not contradict, deny, clarify nor add to the paper trail that exists...she merely states she has "no independent recollection".

Perhaps no other IRS official is more intimately associated with the tax agency´s growing scandal than Lois Lerner, director of the IRS’s Exempt Organizations Division. Since admitting the IRS harassed hundreds of conservative and Tea Party groups for over two years, Lerner has been criticized for a number of untruths—including the revelation that she apparently lied about planting a question at an American Bar Association conference where she first publicly acknowledged IRS misconduct. The Obama administration has no business rummaging through journalists’ phone records, perusing their e-mails and tracking their movements in an attempt to keep them from gathering news. This heavy-handed business isn’t chilling, it’s just plain cold. It also may well be unconstitutional. In my reading, the First Amendment prohibition against “abridging the freedom .?.?. of the press” should rule out secretly obtaining two months’ worth of the personal and professional phone records of Associated Press reporters and editors, including calls to and from the main AP phone number at the House press gallery in the Capitol

DES MOINES, Iowa — Is the tea party getting its groove back? Shouts of vindication from around the country suggest the movement´s leaders certainly think so. They say the IRS acknowledgement that it had targeted their groups for extra scrutiny — a claim that tea party activists had made for years — is helping pump new energy into the coalition. And they are trying to use that development, along with the ongoing controversy over the Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attacks and the Justice Department´s secret seizure of journalists´ phone records, to recruit new activists incensed about government overreach.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:
