| Algeria has begun a second military operation to rescue some 30 foreign hostages still captive by al-Qaeda-affiliated group at a gas facility in the country´s southeast. The second round of rescue efforts on Friday come as Algerian state media reported that more than 650 hostages had been freed as part of the army operation. The state-run APS news agency said 573 of those freed were Algerians. Another 100 were among the 132 foreign workers captured at the In Amenas facility. The Algerians must have secret right wing nuts advising them, who also want to derail Obama´/Clinton´s grand diplomatic schemes to bring peace and tranquility to n.Africa. They´ve already made huge strides in promoting the muslim brotherhood,so these Algerians acting out of Obama protocol could derail his presidency.
Even worse they could postpone Hillary´s Benghazi testimony.

Nothing, I repeat nothing, will derail Obama´s anti-gun message. This changes the subject and we can´t have that. The US press will treat this story like Benghazi.

I can´t blame Algeria for keeping their plans secret here as our WH most likely would have either tipped off the terrorists or Biden would have let slip. I do wish we could get some news on the Americans though.

The Middle East and North Africa are at war, notwithstanding Obama’s insistence that al Queda is on the run, so don’t expect to hear much of it in the inaugural address.

The phrase ´second rescue attempt´ doesn´t sound too encouraging. If you can´t do it with the element of surprise , it´s gonna get a lot harder. Has Pinata mentioned that we can´t send our military into harms way, yet?

#7 You forgot to add Obama to your list. Anyone with a loved one working in a foreign country is very concerned now. This gov´t should all resign so we could get some real Americans in power. They should be ashamed of their actions.

Drudge says "all hostages dead."
AP says it´s unknown if any are still alive.
The Algerian army was forced to intervene when a fire broke out at the complex. They say 19 hostages and 29 attackers killed.
Algorzeera says 30 hostages and 11 al-Queda killed.
Who to believe? Let´s ask hillary or Leon Panhead. With his tight knit eyebrows and sagging jowels, he´s just got to be serious!

A series of shootings this weekend has Chicagoans on edge. A total of 11 separate shootings since Friday night have resulted in seven deaths and at least 30 injuries in the Windy City.
