| Former Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) announced Tuesday that he will begin hosting an Internet television program for conservative website PJ Media. The Tea Party lawmaker narrowly lost reelection to now-Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Fla.) in November. The new show will be called "Next Generation Today" and launch in February. “We’re going to look at the news, the current news, through the lens of young Americans, and we’re going to start to stand up for that next generation,” West told Fox News. Wow. I happen to wish him well. It´s certainly OUR loss that he isn´t in the Congress. I have a feeling he will be in elected office again - when the time is right. With the state of the GOP right now, they aren´t sharp enough to appreciate him.

The popularity of Obamacare has crashed to its lowest level in nearly two years, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Kaiser´s monthly tracking poll found that just 35 percent have a favorable view of the health reform being put into place Jan. 1 while 43 percent view it unfavorably. The favorability rating of Obamacare has been worse only once, in October 2011, when it fell to 34 percent. HOUSTON — A Houston man is accused of threatening to kidnap, murder and burn U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and his father and also to “blow up” the sun if he wasn’t paid $3 million. A $509,840 grant by the National Institutes of Health will pay for a study that will send text messages in "gay lingo" to methamphetamine addicts to try to persuade them to use fewer drugs and more condoms. The study began in February. Lead researcher Dr. Cathy Reback of the Baltimore-based Friends Research Institute, Inc., told CNSNews.com how she and her team of health educators will spend the next four years and over half a million dollars encouraging gay meth addicts to cut down on unprotected sex by periodically sending them “gay-specific” text messages.

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
