| NEW YORK — Michael Bloomberg, America’s most prominent and deep-pocketed advocate for gun control, would rather rehabilitate Republicans than oust them. “Somebody got them the way they are now,” the mayor of New York said in a recent interview as he sat in the bullpen offices of City Hall, surrounded by a buzzing staff, blinking Bloomberg terminals and clocks telling the same time in each of the five boroughs. “Why can’t you change them?” On Monday, Bloomberg will headline a summit on guns at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, another opportunity

Why should I trust a man who is Hades bent on denying me (if I am in NYC) necessary pain medication if I need it. Why should I trust a man who demands I suffer in pain in the name of protecting me? This man is vile and evil and loves to inflict suffering on others. If we were dogs instead of people, Bloomberg would have been arrested for cruelty to animals. So why should I want to have him change me from a caring and compassionate human to an evil man such as himself?

Little wonder he wants guns out of the picture tho´ - goes along perfectly with his ´if you get shot, we´re not going to allow you pain-killers in NYC hospitals anyway...´ edict.
In the spirit of tolerance, diversity and all that - Bloomberg needs some 20oz soda bottle suppositories...

Bloomberg can have the Republican Party. Conservatives no longer have any use for them.
The party of Reagan has become the party of RINO´s -- better known as the Demon-RAT LITE Party.
Our republic died on 11-6-2012. When the Republicans couldn´t beat the worst president in the history of this nation, they became totally irrelevant.
Our only hope is for a new conservative party to arrise from the ashes. But I won´t hold my breath. My guns and ammo -- yes. But not my breath...

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

Bloodletting, in the form of firings, dismissals, resignation, and expulsions, is a tribal rite in political Washington. It is most often used by the powerful on anyone less powerful as a symbolic sacrifice. Steven Miller, the now former acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, is the latest victim of ritual sacrifice. This week the Obama White House demanded his resignation to demonstrate the president’s “anger” at news that the IRS targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status for added review and slow approval. Next, we’ll watch as Congress takes up the bloodletting knife.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable.
