Boehner Told Reid to Perform
a Physically Challenging Feat

CNBC, by John Carney

Original Article

Just in case you were under the impression that the fiscal cliff debates were carried out with a high level of respect and intellectualism, Politico reports how nasty things got on Friday. It was only a few days before the nation would go over the fiscal cliff, no bipartisan agreement was in sight, and Reid had just publicly accused Boehner of running a "dictatorship" in the House and caring more about holding onto his gavel than striking a deal. "Go [redacted by poster] yourself," Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present.

Comments:
Maybe Boehner isn´t such a pushover after all.
And House Republicans just re-elected him Speaker.)

On the other hand, maybe he is a fall-over, from the booze.

Have to say, I love Boehner for saying that.

Ried is the hideous tiny pathetic slimy beast that we have been enduring these many years.

Reid just laughed and said, ´Why should I? It´s plenty entertaining watching you do it to yourself!´

#2 said it well.

Not a single person on the left does anything but lie lie and lie some more.

Reply 5 - Posted by: rmagnus, 1/3/2013 2:54:13 PM     (No. 9096830)

Probably why Boehner got re-elected.

So Congressional Republicans admire vulgarisms? Well they should really admire 2014.

Reply 7 - Posted by: flatwater, 1/3/2013 3:05:13 PM     (No. 9096851)

I must admit, those words would constitute the most polite thing I could even think to say to Harry Reid....

Reid is slimy, greasy enough so no "KY" is needed!

Reply 9 - Posted by: Rafter, 1/3/2013 3:13:18 PM     (No. 9096866)

Lucky thing Reid got gobs of K-9 Jelly in his Christmas stocking.

He´s on the Sandra Fluke Christmas Wish List.
So he got a year´s supply of such things at a taxpayer cost of $3,000.

It´s all part of the package.
The DimWit Christmas package.
Batteries included. Sustainable. Rechargeable. Lithium. The finest.

Go ****, Harry Reid... !!!

I think we conservatives should say the same to Boehner.

Reply 11 - Posted by: Davids918, 1/3/2013 3:17:03 PM     (No. 9096872)

I would hope most Republicans realize this is not 10 or 30 years ago. None of the Democrats are "your friend across the aisle".
They are the opponent, and most in Congress are very liberal (no Sam Nunns or even Dan Rostankowski´s).

Most Democrats, however, aren´t liberal.

Illustrate that and direct attention to how the liberal democrat agenda isn´t helping the average person in the inner-cities, for instance.
"Big city Democrats talk about education but how´s that going for their constituents over the last 40 years"?

"Those democrats don´t want to drill for oil in America, which would create new jobs, lower our own gasoline prices, and bring new revenues that would help pay for teachers, police and firefighters".

That difficulty is what drives so many on the left to places like California or Massachusetts, where someone will gladly do that job for you.

You just know most Repub members in congress wish they had the courage to say that themselves. Go Boehner!!! There are folks out here that do support you in the tough position you have to deal from.

If afterwards Boehner had advanced toward Reid in an aggressive manner and faked throwing a punch, that would have been sweet. Sweeter still to see the effite Reid soil himself retreating on all fours begging for help.

Well Reid does look like the result of such an act.

Jimmy Fallon joked about this last night.

Was long overdue, and Boehner should have done it on camera.

Whatever. Boehner said that and then proceeded to push a bad bill anyway.

Marketing.

What Harry did or was a century ago isn´t really relevant. In the present day, anyone´s grandma could whup the funny little man´s behind.

Rumor is that Reid has been attempting that for years. No word on whether or not he has succeeded.

Even more difficult for Reid than it would be for most men, if you get my drift.

I heard someone, who likes Reid, admit that he is a doddering old senile fool and looks lost in DC without his aides. That is what a Dem leader looks like. He still remembers how to lie and cheat though.

When Boehner told Reid to go xxxx himself, did Boehner know that Reid accomplishes this feat every day with complete enjoyment?

As Operation Pillar of Defense launches into its sixth day, a clear hero has already emerged: Iron Dome. Since the operation began, Iron Dome has intercepted more than 300 rockets launched at Israel with a stellar success rate of 85 percent. The anti-missile system has become a huge source of pride for Israelis, both because of the lives it has undoubtedly saved and because the technology is homegrown. After the targeted killing of Ahmed Jabari last Wednesday, preparations to ready Iron Dome went full speed ahead and around the clock.

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

President Obama’s press conference in the rain was not a success, if by success, his supporters would mean an event which convinces anyone who doesn’t work for him that he’s getting ahead of the scandal deluge. The sight of a Marine holding an umbrella over his head only added to the weirdness of the event. So what did we learn? 1. He has full confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who purportedly recused himself (whenever) without putting it in writing (whatever). Rep. Issa subpoenas Benghazi

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
