| CNN anchor Piers Morgan isn’t benefiting from much Christmas cheer, at least according to one measure: The number of signers on a petition urging the White House to deport Morgan has skyrocketed by late Tuesday afternoon to nearly 66,000 names. The petition, created last week, had 65,887 supporters around 5 P.M. Tuesday and is posted on the White House’s official petition site. It slams Morgan for comments he has made regarding gun control in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 20 children and six adults.

Why should a LimeyRickey like Piers Jackwad have any constitutional protections, i.e. free speech? He´s NOT a citizen and therefore is not afforded the luxury of constitutional protections! Back to merry ol´ England with him.

Morgan is and always has been a raging nut case, seemingly enthralled with the percieved "perfection" of the European way, in spite of evidence that glares in the "otherwise" light. He is a liberal hack who has mananged to show the American public his forked tail - so, Good, if you don´t like what the brand is offering, turn it off- That´s how I vote - I refuse tow watch CNN- even at the DR. office (I scoff and ridicule CNN loudly when it´s on there). I don´t subscribe to liberal news papers or watch any major networks that slander my country - and I try to never shop at places that support them.

His speech may be protected. (recall that rights COME from the Almighty, our Constitution simply recognizes what was already there). So, no, we can´t throw him in jail for offensive speech. Unlike Britain. But his presence in the USA is *NOT* protected. He could be frogmarched to the docks and put on a rowboat this very afternoon and tough noogies at that. Kick the bum out. Today.

Morgan was the editor at Daily Mirror (newspaper in England) and was fired for publishing pictures of British soldiers torturing iraqi prisoners that were fake.

I detest Morgan but have to concede this petition is idiotic and to brag that 60.000 have signed it is even more idiotic.
There is only one effective course of action and that is to STOP WATCHING these idiots.
Stop watching the lefty channels and stop watching any clips of their shows on posted in the internet.
Bill Maher says something offensive - DONT WATCH. Saturday Night Live has that rare skit that may be mildly funny - DONT WATCH. Letterman insults some conservative woman - DONT WATCH. Springsteen, Straisand, Moore, Belafonte, Penn just DONT WATCH, DONT GO TO THEIR MOVIES, DONT LISTEN TO THEIR MUSIC.
Newsbusters has been documenting the ridiculous statements made by all these clowns for years (since they were called Media Research Center). I think it is counterproductive, the solution is to ingnore them not to propagate their venom.

The Constitution applies to citizens of the USA.
Piers is not a citizen.
Then there´s this line from a Trace Adkins lyric ...
" ... son, the 1st Amendment protects you from the government, not from me ..."

I never watch the twit so boycotting PM and CNN is meaningless but I can boycott any of his sponsors in a heartbeat. The libs did it to Rush Limbaugh so it should be a totally acceptable action against PM and CNN, right?

Earlier this week, Roger L. Simon of Pajamas Media broke a story with shocking revelations, contending that slain U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11 to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups that had been originally provided to them by the U.S. State Department. Simon cited two former U.S. diplomats: Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA.

New emails between Internal Revenue Service officials released Wednesday as part of congressional testimony give a better view of who knew of the screening of conservative tea party groups and the search terms being used, and when they knew it. The documents also show a bit of the process the IRS used in such situations, but do not answer the question at the heart of the controversy – who made the decision to search for such groups and why. The string of emails is from early June 2011, sparked by a request from Holly Paz,

WASHINGTON — As they watched President Obama lumber into controversy over mandating contraception coverage last winter, some White House staffers were banging their heads against the wall. The lawyers had done it again. Tensions between operatives and the lawyers hired to protect them from legal trouble are a constant in politics. But as President Obama’s beleaguered aides look for someone to blame in an escalating series of scandals, former political, communications, and policy officials complained to BuzzFeed that one culprit is a balance that has tilted too far toward the lawyer, allowing avoidable controversies to boil over.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
