Used to be (a long time ago) Journalists reported the news. Now they are only to eager to manufacture the "news"

If you read the 2nd amendment narrowly to allow government control of guns, that can and will lead to a narrow interpretation of the 1st amendment to control speech.

One can´t help but wonder how many of these same pressitutes own guns themselves. I´ll bet a large number of them, but then we have known for years what hypocrites they are.

If everyone lines up on the same side is that really ´...taking sides.´ ?

Those who rush to give you "Settled Science" seem to have a big problem with settled con-law.

The defenders of liberty have a responsibility to claw their way into popular media and spread the good news of freedom and free people.

Actually I think it is time we have a serious discussion about common sense regulation of the news media. There is a clear connection between incidents like Sandy Hook and media 24/7 coverage. These individuals want there 15 minutes of fame. Then there are the copy cats. We should implement the following regulations.

There has to be a seven day waiting period before covering mass murders. This will allow time to actually collect facts.

Each news outlet would be restricted to one news story per month per incident.

All reporters assigned to write stories would have to pass a test showing they have a basic knowledge of firearms and close quarter combat before they are allowed to write news stories about mass murders.

Since we want to keep the mentally unhealthy from writing these stories each journalist would have to fill out a federal form attesting under penalty of law that they did not vote for Barack Obama.

There are very few journalists any more.
Please start calling them what they are, OPINIONISTS.
A journalist would report who, what, when, where and how. Those days are gone.

Lets face it....years ago Journalism was a profession ...It required a degree that was heavy on writing, history and geography and was both challenging and difficult to get....The field had a code of conduct based on objective REPORTING...Today most journalists are "communications majors" - which is the easiest degree to attain from any University...It shows in the quality of the reading (note I didn´t say reporting)

What those educated idiots really need to do is report a way to keep firearms out of the hands of dangerous crazy people. That´s where the problem lies. Obviously the current background check system does not do that.

I wish we had journalists that could read and understand the American language. Instead, we are stuck with journalists that only know the Liberal Gibberish language most libtards speak.

Anyone who seeks to limit our liberties, especially those "guaranteed" by the constitution, is an enemy of freedom. They should be so treated now and in the future.

I don´t know, #10. I think journalism was much better before they started getting college degrees. It used to be they reported the news. Now it is anything but.

I believe they fork over vast amounts of money they don´t have to obtain these minimally challenging degrees.

I think "propagandists" is a more appropriate title. They have no regard for the truth if it conflicts with their agenda. This sort of thing should not be afforded 1st amendment protection.
