Posted By:Drive, 12/19/2012 3:00:09 PM

WGMD Radio out of Delaware: Former ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson was pulled over on Savannah Road by Lewes Police on December 1 for a traffic violation. An officer says that he’d been drinking. Donaldson failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Sam Donaldson is a regular guest on ABC News´ "This Week" and made himself famous as a left-wing reporter disguised as an objective reporter who regularly taunted President Reagan throughout the 1980s.

Let´s see that Sammy gets the same treatment

Let´s see if Donaldson skates on the charges.

It would sure help me if at least the spelling in the headlines was accurate. I´ve given up on the stories themselves. Other than that, I´ve got no comment on the article or Donaldson.

FTA: Most recently, Donaldson caused controversy back in June with his racially divisive rhetoric accusing some on the political right of opposing President Obama and his policies because the president is black.

Controversy among whom? The lefties just sat there and nodded their heads in agreement.

According to the Washington DC National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2010, 211 children were killed by drunk drivers.

We need to outlaw drunk drivers. That´ll work.

Schadenfreude -German for taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others- is best left to Leftists, who do it spectacularly well in regard to their political adversaries. Conservatism, with its modest expectations of human beings, should always leave some latitude for simple human foibles, which are no respecters of ideology. There are good reasons to be critical of Sam Donaldson. This news report is not, or should not be at the top of the list.

Back in the 1980´s when Ronald Reagan was President, at almost every occasion, Sam Donaldson, then working for ABC News would loudly yell questions at Reagan anytime Reagan was in public. Reagan would always shake his head, put his hand up to his ear, and pretend that he could not understand Donaldson´s question as he walked away.

Earlier this week, Roger L. Simon of Pajamas Media broke a story with shocking revelations, contending that slain U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11 to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups that had been originally provided to them by the U.S. State Department. Simon cited two former U.S. diplomats: Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA.

New emails between Internal Revenue Service officials released Wednesday as part of congressional testimony give a better view of who knew of the screening of conservative tea party groups and the search terms being used, and when they knew it. The documents also show a bit of the process the IRS used in such situations, but do not answer the question at the heart of the controversy – who made the decision to search for such groups and why. The string of emails is from early June 2011, sparked by a request from Holly Paz,

WASHINGTON — As they watched President Obama lumber into controversy over mandating contraception coverage last winter, some White House staffers were banging their heads against the wall. The lawyers had done it again. Tensions between operatives and the lawyers hired to protect them from legal trouble are a constant in politics. But as President Obama’s beleaguered aides look for someone to blame in an escalating series of scandals, former political, communications, and policy officials complained to BuzzFeed that one culprit is a balance that has tilted too far toward the lawyer, allowing avoidable controversies to boil over.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails.
