Gretchen Carlson Moved To Tears
As Huckabee Urges America: ‘Quit

Fox News Host Mike Huckabee moved Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson to tears on Monday in a discussion about God and religion in the wake of the mass murder in Connecticut on Friday. After saying that no one “should be surprised” by the attack because schools have become a place free of religion, Huckabee softened his tone. He said that Americans should no longer be ashamed of their belief in a higher power and turn to morality before the tragedy rather than after. Comments:
I might not always agree with Huckabee, but what he said this morning was absolutely correct. I have been fearful that some of the vile leftists will start complaining about all the references to God after this horrible tragedy.

Yes, we should not be ashamed that we believe in God and I think the war on the Christian religion should stop. We need to affirm that we are a Christian nation and defend that nation by restricting Muslims to visitor status only.

However, this has nothing to do with the recent shootings. The gunman was insane, not disbelieving.

We are reaping what we have sown. We removed God from the conversation and every other endeavor, and there is nothing left to fill the void. Just sayin´

God is preparing us for something, that´s for sure. Pray that more will come to Him in time.

As a practicing Christian, I have not always agreed with the way Huckabee portrays himself in politics. But on this one I definitely agree. Christians need to ´man up´ and tell seculars to back off and stop attacking us for our faith. Jesus stood against evil for our sake. We can do no less now can we?

We are currently seeing the results of secular behaviour that has been a part of our national culture for decades.

Nature abhors a vacuum.

Seen the new T-Shirt?

"Dear God, how could you allow such a thing to happen in our school? Signed: Concerned Student."

"Dear Concerned Student: I am not allowed in your school. Signed: God."

If the above offends you, good. That´s what I intended.

I´ll never understand why the majority (God fearing Believers) allow the small % of the population to force us to remove God and any references to God from the public forum. Since the atheists believe in nothing, why should they be offended. They worship nothing and one day they will be rewarded with nothing.

Tell the ACLU to leave, go away, vanish. They do nothing except foment trouble and strife...but perhaps that´s their charge.

Tell the churches and pastors that it is time to read God´s word and follow God´s word.....not just interpret the Bible to fit their own desires and the secular-progressive agenda. Some denominations have wandered away from biblical teachings and have instituted their own teachings. Time to stand up and be counted for something.

The remedy for safety from one another has always been and will always be the living of higher laws. Mankind always looks for the new solutions which usually restate the same old worldy solutions that do not work. When we become a moral society, then these problems will disappear. If we keep in the same direction, the consequences will follow.

Fear of God has prevented many a person from doing terrible harm. Judgement by fellow citizens helps to keep a society civil and encourages positive behavior. There will always be the tug of war between good and evil. Many today no longer know right from wrong. The "do it if it feels good," me generation is in position of power. All the "diversity" and "politically correct" BS has succeeded (as it was intended)in dividing our nation. After all...nobody wants to hurt anyone´s feelings, right? Presently we have an un_American lying, lawless, divisive President. Bad behavior and indecent acts,(ala Bill Clinton)are accepted by society, elected officials who will not or cannot work together for the good of their country, worship of self and celebrity, the devaluing of human life, the unwillingness to punish illegal immigrants yet we don´t encourage assimilation, destroying the American economy, devaluing marriage, marginalizing Christian religion, dissing the founders of this great nation and ignoring our beautiful Constitution. Our children see all this happening and yet are expected to grow up healthy in mind, body and soul. Is it any wonder they are confused about right and wrong and good and evil and bereft of moral covictions? America is indeed in decline as it is being destroyed from within. It´s so clear yet so many are in denial or simply don´t care. Governor Huckabee is correct in his assessment.

Mark 8:38 "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

How many see the significance of the actions today compared to when Jesus was born. Herod heard that a prophecy was to come true of a King (Jesus) being born. The Wise Men saw a star and followed it. They were summoned to Herod, asked to return when they found the King so Herod could worship Him too. Of course, he wanted to kill him. When they did not return, Herod had all male babies/children two years and under killed. Satan has again attacked our children, who will carry on God´s legacy for the human race.

Obama, in his speech, sought "again" to cause confusion/division amongst the people.

He thinks he is able to do what only God can do!

We need a heart trasfusion of God´s Love/Grace, His ability to draw US together in His Word that defines who we are, what we are capable of with His aid/intervention.

America is in need of God´s mercy, His true Love/Grace that gave His only-begotten Son so that we might one day enjoy His PEACE/LOVE/JOY!

pray for America! We are at a crossroad that will lead to freedom or tyranny!

God save the nation - US!

Yet more symptoms of a PC nation gone awry. Not PC to talk about mental illness, not PC to talk about God and religion.

But, oh, how the misty presidential tears and prayers flowed. When it was too late. How about before the fact, presidential role model? At those evaded prayer breakfasts every year? That we are not a Christian nation, yet, history dispoves your lying lips.

Well, someone brought a gun to the knife fight, president role model misty tears. You provoked a challenge, then hide behind a false Christianity because it was a great photo op.

Sick doesn´t begin to describe...

I have always believed, and have taught both of my children, that faith is believing in something when common sense tells you not to. On Friday, I couldn´t wait to hold my children and tell them how much I love them. They are 19 and supposedly independent but, they both just let me cry and hold them tight. They both knew that their mom needed them so very much that day. When tragedies of this magnitude happen, I HAVE to hang onto my faith. It´s sometimes all I have to get me through without running screaming into the street.

The immigration reform bill drawn up by the Senate Gang of 8 would boost the economy and lower the deficit, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says in a report out today. The newly released, and highly anticipated, report from the government’s nonpartisan bookkeeper comes as the Senate debates the bipartisan immigration legislation offered by the Gang of 8 and the House moves forward on a more piecemeal approach. The report, “The Economic Impact of S. 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act,” says overall the legislation

NEW YORK — The New York Police Department´s widespread spying programs directed at Muslims have undermined free worship by innocent people and should be declared unconstitutional, religious leaders and civil rights advocates said Tuesday after the filing of a federal lawsuit. "Our mosque should be an open, religious and spiritual sanctuary, but NYPD spying has turned it into a place of suspicion and censorship," Hamid Hassan Raza, an imam named as a plaintiff, told a rally outside police headquarters shortly after the suit was filed in federal court in Brooklyn.

Mixed-race people are more likely to be considered black by conservatives, who are subconsciously attempting to “justify racial divisions,” said the authors of a new government-funded study. The report, originally released earlier this month, has begun attracting criticism from those who see political bias in the results. The study was conducted by graduate students and faculty in the psychology department of New York University. Researchers asked participants to look at pictures of mixed-race people and say whether they

The Clintons are getting the old band back together again for one last geriatric tour. Hillary 2016. Because 22 years of Clintons dominating the Beltway isn’t enough. Her campaign slogan: “Vote for me. I am a woman. What difference does it make?” The Draft Hillary movement is really taking off. There hasn’t been this much excitement behind a Draft Hillary movement since, well, the last time there was a Draft Hillary movement. Remember that? Back in 2008? When she was the “inevitable nominee?” She was the “most electable” Democrat running? She was the only one who

President Obama´s nonstop fundraising for congressional Democrats is building a huge campaign war chest for next fall, but there is little hope that his party will win back control of the House and make Rep. Nancy Pelosi speaker again, according to an exhaustive new analysis. But the report from the University of Virginia´s Center for Politics also shows that Obama may suffer the fewest losses of House seats for a second-term president since Ronald Reagan in 1986, itself a big victory. "While it would be foolish to rule out any outcome, there is no indication at this

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan
