Sarah Palin´s oldest son, Track, is getting divorced just 18 months after tying the knot, in another blow to the family values advocate. The 23-year-old and his wife, Britta, 22, jointly filed for divorce in an Alaskan court this week, according to TMZ. The couple married in May, 2011, and just three months later, Britta gave birth to a little girl, Kyla. The news of Track´s marriage breakdown comes after his sister Bristol´s very public relationship dramas. Bristol, who famously got pregnant in 2008 at age 18, was twice engaged to high school boyfriend Levi Johnston,

How´s the Moran family doing these days? Oh, never mind. How about the Kennedys?

Track Palin is a private citizen and it´s sad to see anyone divorce. The press would be serving their readers better to see what they can find out about Obama or better yet Benghazi.

Hey #2 - check the statistics. 74% of African American Women are unmarried when they give birth.

Are you calling them losers?

Racist.

Much as I love Sarah Palin, I have to wonder if she might regret having sent her children to public school.

The older daughters´ behavior suggests, to me, that they were saturated in the decadent pop culture that reigns in public schools.

By the time my youngest son was ready for junior high, it began to dawn on me how pernicious the public school atmosphere had become. Hence I took him out of there and homeschooled him. Best thing I ever did.

FTA: "Sarah Palin´s oldest son, Track, is getting divorced just 18 months after tying the knot, in another blow to the family values advocate."

This is sad. The LSM media won´t leave Sarah Palin and her family alone and these are the consequences. There is nothing but snark in this beginning sentence & put down of the Tea Party advocate. Instead of using what limited talents these writers [drones] and editors have to the current real problems of North Korea, Middle East, and that stupid "fiscal cliff" drama. Oh, Benghazi and PIAPS.

There´s nothing like being judged by Satan´s servants.

Anyone who dares to advocate morality is immediately and relentlessly accused of hypocrisy. This gives people who´ve rejected God a smug feeling. It also lets them feel that there is no such thing as right and wrong.

To those of you who feel that way--Good Luck!

I normally find the ones who are the most critical of these types of personal activities have had more than the average share of same in their lives and in their immediate family. The Daily Mail knows putting Sarah Palin´s name in a headline is worth $$$$$$$$$ to them.

I feel for her and feel badly for her son and his wife and baby. These things happen, and sometimes no matter how hard to try to instill the right values, it happens anyway. Two of our children divorced within 2 years of marriage. I guess according to #2 we are losers too. No, we are not and the Palins are not losers, either...people make mistakes, and today´s society tends to not take marriage as seriously as the older generations did. This doesn´t make me think any less of the Palins.

Re #2 -- Track served our country in the middle east. Yeah, what a loser.

I´ve raised 5 & they will tear your heart out before their generation decides to grow up. 30 is the new 20 for maturity in America. Kinda hard to escape the culture -- even home-schooling.

We sent one to a military school his junior year to save him.
Sent our daughter to a girl´s school in Texas where she had to use leather gloves to work the farm.
Sent one son to a Christian, then private school.
Sent another to a 90-day rehab when he was 28.

They are all doing wonderful today -- but I am grateful we weren´t famous & every move scrutinized by the stone-throwers.

What the Daily Mail could have said instead is that Sarah Palin and her husband are an example of loving and sturdy parenthood and that they don´t ask their children to present a perfect appearance to win that - they accept their children frailties and all, and just find a happy way forward. This could have been a story about Love. It would have been a true one.

Well said, #7, and everyone else (except for #2)

"There´s nothing like being judged by Satan´s servants."

Very, very well said, #7. The hatred and not-so-subtle faux condescension spewed from some of these smug and truly obnoxious posters toward Sarah Palin and her family make me wonder how vicious they must be away from the internet boards. They have no class whatsoever and I don´t think I´ve ever come across people more full of hate in my life, on or off the internet.

The Palin family is by no means a perfect one. Neither is mine. I’m guessing neither is yours. But, which family is? What I like most about the Palin family is that they don’t go around murdering their own babies, especially the traditional-calendar-disrupting ones and call it… “a choice.”

Reply 15 - Posted by: ColonialAmerican1623, 12/12/2012 10:01:25 PM     (No. 9062541)

Isn´t it better to get a divorce now instead of fighting in front of the children for 20 years and saying you are one big happy family ?

I just can´t add a thing to the wisdom in #7´s post. "satan´s servants." How true, how true. You too, #14.

#15, the problem is the media, and the Democrats, are defining family values as being perfect.

By attacking family values, they´re saying they don´t agree with the idea of two-parent families.

Family values is an idea, a goal.

None of us are perfect - only HE is.

Just like family members don´t all think alike, or agree on everything, so why should all Republicans?

I´ve learned from many posters that home schooling is the absolute answer to a lot of educational problems, but I didn´t know it was also the antidote to divorce.

Wow! ... Just Wow!

Bless your heart #23. Knowledge of birth control does not translate into avoiding pregnancy in the world of humans, particularly young humans. Youth is often caught up in the throes of rebellion. Rebellion effectively separates them from applying knowledge, reason and wisdom (ie Common Sense) to their behavior and anticipating the consequences. In most people, the effects of rebellion diminish with age (except in the case of liberals, who seem impervious to the onset of wisdom).

Please, leave Sarah alone. She is running for nothing. What she speaks (according the the MFM) amounts to nothing. Like many hard working women, her children were taught in government controlled schools...where they learned how to wear condoms correctly, how to project heir ´other´ gender side, etc. Her children are not perfect, but her children will hopefully learn from their mistakes. Sarah is still standing tall. Allow her to do so. She is one GOP who is afraid not nothing. Perhaps her children helped to mold our Sarah into the woman she is today. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

There are tragedies in every family no matter who you are or where you were born. It´s very human. Things just don´t go well for many because of bad choices whether they are sexual or not. No family is immune. Yet here some of us are making snarky comments about what almost all of us have suffered only we were allowed the luxury of suffering in private where the obtrusive press didn´t care.

Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built. The 54-39 vote to reject the fence shows the core of the immigration deal is holding. The vote broke mostly along party lines, though five Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio and the rest of the bill’s authors, voted against the fence, and two Democrats voted for it. Republicans had offered the fence as a way to

The Lough Erne Declaration - signed by the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia - vows to ´fight the scourge of tax evasion´ by ensuring automatic exchange of tax information and changing the rules to stop multinational companies shifting profits across borders to avoid paying their fair share.

A controversial federal agency subject to little congressional oversight has advised its employees to include minimal details about agency events on work calendars that are subject to Freedom of Information Act requests. In a flier circulated to employees and obtained by the government watchdog group Cause of Action, the bureau’s FOIA office instructs employees to “keep your calendar entries brief and general.” The guidance has some observers concerned that the agency is instructing its employees to be more opaque in its daily operations. “Transparency is at the core of our agenda, and it is a key part

Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan
